the level of movement it has is going to act like a dampener and mask force feedback which is going to actively make it harder to tell what the game is telling you. you can mitigate it by turning the strength down, but at that point you should have saved the money and gotten a less powerful base

If you feel like you don't have issues with how well headsets fit you (e.g., if you have a larger/smaller head, ears, hairdue) than I recommend the G522 for the better microphone and simpler construction/price. I think its one of their best lineups. The microphone is surprisingly good, but the limited sizing/fit options is its roughest aspect.

If the slightly higher price isn't an issue the Pro X Wireless is a better build quality and especially if you don't use the microphone anyways. However it is a lot more adjustable when it comes to its physical fit.

Hope you enjoy a good set up soon either way!

All good. I can't hear the difference from my end. I would recommend playing around with the EQs on both since I think that will make a bigger difference than the hardware... but I notice a big difference in microphones both with and without BlueVoice enhancement software.

Either way, both excellent. Just gave the major pros and cons from the slight differences. I think if the sound is better than I'd go with that! You'll always listen to the headphones, but won't always use the microphone.. probably. ;P

I, unfortunately, am not familiar with what steps ChatGPT would take to fix things.
Overall the mouse does appear to work, but the connection to the computer is busted.
-# I assume if not plugged directly into the computer the USB receiver you have isn't even being recognized. We can try other steps if it is recognized.

If the receiver is having issues the best thing to do is to try and troubleshoot it.

  1. First make sure the basics are taken care of. Make sure that whatever port you have it plugged into is clean and works.
  • You can usually test this with another device within the same port, try other ports/systems, and see if it shows up in Window's Device Manager.
  1. Presuming everything is otherwise working we need to do a reset of the receiver and reconnect to the mouse ideally.
  • You can ideally follow similar steps here. This FAQ mentions connecting multiple devices, but the steps are identical to reconnect a lost device. You use the Device Pairing Tool option in G Hub.

Overall let me know if you've done this and/or if it helps before other stuff I might have to look into a bit further. If you get any errors you'll have to let me know. Below is an example GIF from the FAQ linked above.

If you're missing a major component like the microphone it's probably worth looking into a returm/exchange/warranty.

Otherwise if it's not working with it plugged in you would want to shut down your computer, change to a different known working USB port, clean out the ports, and ensure they are plugged back in before restarting the PC as the only major troubleshooting step. I suppose make sure you aren't connecting to a USB hub or extender when troubleshooting.

Still missing the microphone is very odd. In my opinion worth a return for that alone. Soz.

Most onboard saves won't transfer to console because consoles don't run an os that communicates the same way. Logitech doesn't advertise console compatibility for their mice and keyboards for a reason. It's not expected to work

Not positive what "backwards" means.. but as mentioned above you can use LUA scripts to do a lot of mouse movements.

You can use something like MoveMouseRelative(x,y)
where when triggered it will move your mouse along the x/y axis based on the mouses current position.
So like in the documentation has:

for i = 0, 50 do
    MoveMouseRelative(0, -1)
    Sleep(8)
end
  • -# This will repeatedly move the mouse down 1 pixel (because of the negative value, positive would be up), rest for 8 milliseconds, and then repeat... in this case I believe 50 times. Overall with this example if no other movement is made in the meantime you'll end up having your cursor go down 50 pixels over 4/10s of a second.
    You can, of course, edit the trigger, values, and do other logic as needed.

Hope you get a good setup either way!

There is a temporary fix I did on my g502 a few times. You have to open the mouse up, open the switch with the issue up as well. Fix the bend on a certain thing on the metal spring thing inside of it. It will make it work like normal but return a few months later. Then repeat the process. Each time reducing the time until it returns. Did it for like 2 years before I gave up.

Other than that, solder and swap the switch for a new one.

Option 3 Buy a new mouse.

Yup MacOS seems to be the culprit. It's an Apple Developer certificate error on the Logi Options Plus.app package. It expired January 6, a few hours ago. Without a valid certificate, MacOS will not let an app run. Logitech must issue a new certificate. This may involve a worldwide roll out of a new package to install. You can fix it by setting your date & time back 1 day, to January 5. This causes other problems but at least your mouse and keyboard will work for most local applications that do not rely on time sensitive date & time information.

It's easy to overlook a certificate. It happens. There should have been multiple flags that went off to update it but it was likely forgotten due to the recent holiday season. A fix should come out relatively quickly as it's affecting such a large amount of their users.

Does the G29 have any driver and settings memory? I tried reinstalling G Hub and installing Logitech Gaming Software, and at some point the wheel went haywire. Force feedback keeps returning to 0 when I connect the wheel to USB. Connecting it to power only, without a computer, doesn't cause this problem. Tested on two computers, one Windows and one Linux.

anyone know what might be the root cause of a logitech g733 having inconsistent battery percentages. i assume its the battery itself which is fine but i want to rule anything other possibilites. for example it might say 100% then drop down to 50 and then 20 within 20 minutes or it will say 5% and then after restart read 100%

its honestly awfull at this point. it have connectivity issues everytime i turn on the pc sometimes randomly playing and the only way to fix it is start disconecting and conecting the dongle again and again until it finally turns on. and the software has the same problem to detect it

and when it shows a new firmware update to install, the option to install it disappears when i disconnect the dongle to connect it by cable and usb for the update

Depends what fps and what level you strive to play. I got global in cs and gm in ow using it. But would I use it today if I had to do it again, no.

It's a great mouse but personally I'd prefer a lighter mouse for most fps games. The reason why I used it those years was because I simply never gave lighter mice a real chance before after that.

Is it good for fps, yes.
Would I recommend it for fps, no.

I used to have the an error whenever I tried to load up the website. That one is fixed now, however when now that I can input all my credentials it just does not do anything. When clicking the register button you just see it loading for a second and then not doing anything at all. My events tab also shows that im not in any competition currently.

Hi Guys, I need some help because of a problem with my Logitech G915 X Lightspeed keyboard.

I constantly have sporadic double inputs here and there, and it's extremely annoying. With the help of ā€œKeyboard Chatter Blockerā€, I was able to reduce it, but not completely eliminate it. I also looked at the Logitech G website, but I can't really find a suitable alternative because I also want the macro keys.

The irony is that I ordered the same keyboard for a friend and yes, he's having the same problems. Now I'm thinking about returning the keyboards, but I don't know what a good alternative would be.
I don't really want to switch to another manufacturer because I already have a Logitech mouse, webcam, lights, etc., which I can conveniently control via the Logitech G HUB.

Do you have any advice for me?
