not sure if anyone else is experiencing this, but after the ghub update yesterday (for me) my pro x tkl is no longer being recognized in my computer. To use it's USB passthrough, do you need to plug in multiple USB cables running from the keyboard to your computer?

To be perfectly clear, 7.1 isn’t real surround sound, it uses software to give off the illusion of surround sound. I found my 7.1 headset w DTS:X to be absolutely banging on siege, it’s not real surround sound but it works good enough to be able to tell where footsteps come from. Most games have a standard of stereo audio that makes any “surround sound” headset pointless, it’s only because siege has been coded to sound wh0re, it would give you the tiniest advantage on stuff like cod though

I’d go as far as to say there’s absolutely no point going for a “surround sound” headset over anything else for gaming, unless its for siege, to my knowledge, that’s one of the only mainstream games with detailed enough audio to warrant 7.1

I have the G522 and so do at least 2 friends. Although a small sample size, none of us have seen anything close to a charging issue. Generally Logitech and any reputable store reseller will allow you to refund or exchange them since that does fall under warranty stuff.

Otherwise they are some of the best headsets out there if you like having a good microphone. To be transparent they don't hold up against dedicated microphones, but they are the best I've seen outside absorbently expensive alternate options. The BlueVoice software is quite good.

The only downside I have about these headphones is that the physical headsize adjustment is a bit limited.

So for anyone using Linux with a Logitech MX Master 4, I threw together a little tool called JuhRadial MX, it's a radial menu that pops up with the haptic thumb button, it has media controls, window actions, app shortcuts, etc. It still needs abit work and fixing though.

Tools such as intel XTU or amd ryzen master exist, otherwise if those dont work its gonna be in the bios. Youll have to look up "overclock [motherboard model]". It is however possible that your cpu cant be overclocked, in which case, theres nothing to be done

But anyways there are many videos on youtube showing how to overclock, they are infinitely better than asking random people on discord

My wheel is not being detected in the game

Using the g29
Firmware etc up to date
Wheel is reflecting in device manager
Ghub is opening and running
Pedals are able to be calibrated in game
Ports have been swapped
Wheel is working fine with other games
And also on a different platform ( PS5)

This did happen a couple days ago but fixed it self after a restart

so the 1st two times this happened i changed the ports to a completely different port
but since then the wheel no longer works on those ports 😔 , other devices are working fine on those same ports
could the wheel be damaging those ports? just thiinking in the long run i mighht no be left with any ports that will work with the wheel XD

Did some research into this and other users have encountered the same issue with different logitech wheel models.

It sounds like a loose connection or static from the input. It's not a loose aux cable because the 435 are wireless headphones with bluetooth support. If you're using bluetooth I recommend trying the wifi dongle because it's a faster more consistent connection. Besides that the battery could be getting low or the wire leading to your right headphone speaker is loose. I'd try making sure it's fully charged and use the wifi dongle over bluetooth first. If that doesn't help, make a support ticket. #🗣support-ticket

You may need to be more specific. There are tons of options for scripts with accessibility options with the LUA programming language. Although its fairly limited, if the hardware interactions are enough the LUA knowledge is the only barrier.

With that being said a lot of games seems to be picking up anti-recoil scripts from G Hub. Although not directly banned from my limited understanding, they do tend to cause issues for scripts that are too strong. So just a heads up, although a script may work in theory you'll have to fight developer tracking non-human inputs.

i clicked that but i i dont see anything about sidetone. the only thing i see close to that is desktop notifications, equalizer cycle, surround sound toggle but theyre all greyed out i cant uncheck the boxes that are checked already

So. Open "Run", type in mmsys.cpl, click on your microphone, click properties, click on the "listen" tab, make sure "listen to this device" is unchecked.

That's how you do the windows sidetone.

If it's unchecked, then it might be a bleeding issue with the headset, something that can happen with some of Logitech's headsets (heck a lot of gaming headsets have this problem)

I agree.. seems to be a uncommon issue with the headset.
I would try:

1. A reset of the headset and/or the receiver
2. Ensure you don't have any heavy wireless equipment near you. Things like a new strong router/modem causes a ton of issues.
3. Ensure you're not using other audio software in conjunction like Voicemeeter.
   but otherwise the distortion isn't supposed to happen so should be able to warranty it for the store or with Logitech.

It might be a fault with the product itself then. Certain companies (including Logitech) have a track record with certain really stupid product faults. For example: The G pro wireless, G pro wireless 2, GPX1, GPX2, GPX2c, GPX2DEX and more than likely the Superstrike when it releases, all have a faulty mouse3 button.

There is a little deadzone on the Superlight mice, where the mouse3 quickly activates and deactivates itself. It's not noticable under normal use, but when editing and dragging with mouse3, it can be quite annoying.

I can’t seem to hear my ps5 AND PC unless I switch it to Bluetooth but my understanding is that I keep it on the ps5 option. My Astro A50 Gen4 freezed in the morning, so i resettet it. In the past 3 hours i tried everything that i found to install the latest firmware, but nothing worked. The automatic update, with the Astro Command Center, always breaks at 75%.
When i manually try to install the latest Firmware it always breaks at 50% progress.
Has someone already conquered the same problem and can tell me the solution?

Edit: The Dock now has the newest Firmware, but my Headset has No Firmware at all, 250 Euro Headset...

Lamzu has done the same thing. Their Maya X mice have a really big flaw in their firmware, causing noticable jumpiness in the sensor, and there is no way to get rid of it, if you have it.

It's weird, because Lamzu had 3 phenomenal shapes. Atlantis (2 sizes), Thorn (1 size) and Maya (2 sizes). They did NOT have to release the Tachi, Paro or Inca.

Hello Hello, I recently upgraded from a G915 keyboard to a G915 X Keyboard. Running in to a weird issue where if I press Shift/Control and a side key (G1-5), the macro doesn't work (The macro is to left click very fast), weirdly enough if I use a macro on my mouse to hold control, and then press the macro key, it works perfectly fine.... as well as if I press the macro itself without control or shift.

Anyone have any ideas?

This is likely a G Hub or G915 X keyboard limitation where Shift or Control blocks the G-keys. Try updating or reinstalling G Hub, and make sure on-board memory is turned off. You can also try changing the macro to while pressed, include Ctrl inside the macro itself, or remap the macro to another key like F13–F24. Since the mouse macro works, this looks more like a keyboard or firmware bug than a macro problem.

I have the Astro A50X headset and I am trying to pair it with my PC, Xbox AND PS5 into my Elgato HD60X and I stream on Twitch using OBS. I get visuals on both monitor and within OBS, I can hear audio on my headset and everything else works - except the audio isn't coming through from the consoles (PS5 & Xbox) into OBS.

Connections are correct based on both main FAQs from both brands. I've upgraded all cables to be highest for data transfer, usage, etc. so no issues there. Even tried a resolution from a Logitech Support team member but unfortunately no audio still coming through at all.

I bought a G29 steering wheel, but I can't attach it to my desk. The two knobs won't turn, and the clamps won't open more than 4 cm (the width of my desk).

on my 920, there are little blocks you can remove from those clamps, and the knobs should be 1/4 turn ish "pop up" for easier tighten/loosen. press them down and turn them to pop em up

Quit G HUB

Open Activity Monitor and do a force quit on lghub process (skip step if lghub process is not running)

Go to Finder/Applications and delete lghub app (skip step if lghub is not listed)

Go to /Library/LaunchAgents and delete com.logi.ghub.plist

Go to /Library/LaunchDaemons and delete com.logi.ghub.updater.plist

Go to /Users/Shared and delete LGHUB

Restart system "DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP"

Reinstall G HUB

I can't personally speak on it, since I've never had G hub do that. I've had OMM do it a couple of times though.

I just got G PRO X SE headset today but it sounds really really muffled and I literally cant hear where the footsteps come from in FPS games. I have tried like 30 different EQ presets etc, different HZ etc but nothing has helped

tried with the DAC or plugging through jack.
And with DAC it feels like 20% better but still muddy and the quality just sounds bad

any advices?

Do you have other software that effects your hardware?
For instance if you go to Additional Sound Settings in Windows you can have sidetone enabled via your hardware there as well. Example:

Do you have the same setting disabled in G Hub then? You haven't mentioned any other program.

My apologies, those are going to be the most common.. otherwise you'll have to check for any other audio programs running. Things like OBS, Voicemeeter, and even in-game chats can cause doubling. Discord has its own set.
To troubleshoot you'd have to check:

• if you hear it from all recordings/programs or only some. Then ideally shut down as much programs or processes as possible to root out anything else listening to the headset.
• You can also double-check to ensure you aren't disabling sidetone on a potentially "call" version of the headset. Some headsets will have a game/audio option and a call/communication option that are handled separately.
• Hopefully you can also test on another device that will have default settings?

i used to own endorfy viro which costs like 30-40$ and the quality is like 3x better than the 90$ G Pro headset lol
