Hi, I wanted to remap a extreme 3D pro to play 2XKO (a fighting game) and everything was going properly, until the game out of nowhere started to recognize my joystick as a controller, showing default controls (a button i mapped on numpad 1 is now X for example). Also, i disabled the X and Y axis of the joystick, but when it's detected as a controller, it comes back. So basically i have a good mapping for when it's detected as a "keyboard" by the game, but when it becomes considered a controller all my mappings go away and i just have default settings. What can i do?

try adjusting the headset mode or the console's settings. The first thing you must do is ensure the headset is in Lightspeed mode by pressing and holding the Mute button for 3 seconds until the LED turns cyan (bluish-green); if it's blue, it's in Bluetooth mode and won't work with the dongle. Next, on your PS5, go to Settings > Sound > Audio Output and verify that your Output Device is set to the USB Headset (or the G435's name) and that Output to Headphones is set to "All Audio." Also, make sure the Headphones Volume slider in the PS5 settings is turned up and that the volume rocker on the headset itself isn't accidentally turned down. If all else fails, try unplugging the dongle, turning the headset off, plugging the dongle back into a different USB port (preferably a rear one), and then re-pairing the headset by holding both the Power and Mute buttons for about 10 seconds until the solid cyan light returns.

ive never seen any. that backplate is integrated into the chasis overall so it would need to be able to assemble back into the rest of the chasis. In general the keyboard community does not typically gravitate towards coming up with ways to customize those types of keyboards beyond changing switches or keycaps

Go to the mouse's Settings (usually the cog/gear icon in the top right of the mouse's window).

Find the "On-Board Memory Mode" setting. It's often set to OFF by default.

Turn On the On-Board Memory Mode.

Assign your desired profile to one of the available On-Board Memory slots on the mouse.

Test: Close G HUB completely (ensure it's not running in the system tray or task manager) and then test your custom buttons.

It’s amazing how the same names are at the top of the leaderboard every McLaren challenge and they pull off a perfect lap within the first day! They’re all probably using 3rd person view, which provides an unrealistic overall scope enabling better timing. Only cockpit view should qualify for any racing contest.

No forza is not a Sim. Go ask all the people at the top of the leader boards in the event. What other Sims are you comparing it to? if you are on console my guess is not the ones at teh top of the industry like iracing LMU and ACC (PC acc physics are more advanced than on console). E-racing also does not automatically make it a Sim. F1 games are a great example. They are Sim-cade at best

Hi Logitech, just wanted to give a quick feedback about MX Master 4. To be honest, as the owner of older MX Master 3s, there is very little compelling about the MX Master 4. Haptics seems more as a gimmick and other than an extra button mouse seems pretty much the same. On the other I would hope that Mx Vertical gets a refresh (Lift is too small for my hands)

the way warranties typically work, is they are voided if the failure could reasonably have been caused by something a user did. So a slight cut on the cable wouldnt really impact double clicking, but that same cable cut would likely not let you use warranty for issues with connection cutting out.

depending on the mouse, you will be more limited on the number of profiles you will have access to, but the biggest diffrence is onboard wont be able to automatically detect games and switch profiles automatically, youll need to manually change the profile to the one you want if you want to use a different one for a game

Hi guys, I'm getting back into gaming after a 2-year hiatus. I was on Xbox and am now switching to PC. I have the Astro A40 TR with the Mix Amp Pro TR 2019. I wanted to ask you, I saw that they have practically been abandoned as headphones, but I would like to know if the software is still updated? Are they still usable? the A40s are discontinued and arent made anymore and the software they use, Command Center, is also end of life and no longer getting updates. I wouldnt say they are obsolete since there hasnt really been an actual succesor to them, but they arent being actively supported and updated anymore by astro/logitech. If they work, and you like them theres nothing saying you need to stop

all I can offer is info on point 4, wireless mic monitoring really doesnt exist unless you are using the mic on the headset or have a headset that has a base station with a 3.5mm jack on it, like the Steelseries Nova Pros that you can plug the mic into. The G522 doesnt have a a 3.5mm port on it to plug into the mic anyway.

Appreciate it. I've been diving into this and trying to find an option. The Nova Pros are a potential I may try but I miss the Graphene drivers from a G Pro X I previously had, so I may replace the G522 with that again if I can't get the mic handled.

I have been seeing a system like the LEKATO In Ear Monitoring system that's a transmitter receiver that seems like it may work with any Mic with a 3.5mm jack and any headphone with a 3.5mm jack.

brown and blue switches are different and have different sound and feel, g515 uses a low profile and the G512 uses a standard switch and those will feel different as well. so the answer to your question is all no. switches called different colors are different and if they have a different profile, they are also different.Tthis isnt just logitech, this is pretty basic keyboard stuff that applies to all mechanical keyboards

i was using 800 dpi initially, but for some reason whenever i didnt use my computer for around 45 minutes and came back to it, 800 dpi felt faster then it did before

so i reduced it to 750 to get the same feel, then 700, and now im all the way at 400 and it still feels faster than the inital 800 did

Hello! I have a g502 and I have an issue (not double clicking). I was messing around with on board profile switching and the setting where it allows games to do stuff to your RGB. My G502 used to have all 3 Dpi lights and the logo cycle through colors on PC startup, and when G Hub did its start up things, the dpi indicator would stay permanently on. But after messing around with said settings, now the RGB starts white ish and only one of the lights on the RGB indicator would turn on. When G Hub finally does it thing, the dpi indicator doesn't turn on until I cycle through dpi. Is there a way to fix this or should I just re install g hub?

seems to be a bug with the new update, you can disable the integrations manually in to C:\Users<your username>\AppData\Local\LGHUB\integrations, open discord or whatever integration folder’s config.json file in a text editor like notepad, change every "true" to "false", save and close then set the file to read‑only in properties so LGHUB doesn’t overwrite your changes.

On top of what guhts mentioned, the integrations appear to have two folders to check:

• %LOCALAPPDATA%\LGHUB\integrations_config
• %LOCALAPPDATA%\\LGHUB\integrations\
  • -# Where you'll find applet_program folders to check out.
    However, you may be able to take care of this in the software itself if you go to the main startup page and then the Profiles menu at the top. Afterwards you can check out the profiles you want to stop integrations for. Default for instanc may be the Desktop profile, but you're setup may vary. You can go to the profiles and scroll down to disable/enable integrations there.

Without any links its tough to tell.
There is a good chance that regional options can exist for things like "refurbished" equipment from other sellers or as an option from Amazon.
Other times it can be that different manufacturing dates can cause very similar equipment to be heavily discounted.

Overall on a quick sanity check here is an example of the camera that may appear to be cheaper, but is technically a refurbished option from my understanding...

The replacement replacement Superlight 2 was sent on August 5th, but I only started using it last week;

• I can't register the new mouse's serial number on your website. It says 'not found'.
• I noticed in the first 24 hours of using it that the battery was loose inside of the mouse, not sure if it came already like that, but this, even on its own, is just ridiculous on a ~200€ mouse.
• The scroll wheel encoder is just as bad as the other one if not worse.
• This mouse has dropped the connection with the dongle multiple times, sometimes more than once per day. I have to turn off the mouse and turn it back on (the dongle is inches away from the mouse on top of my mousepad).
• THE RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON STOPPED WORKING 30 MINUTES AGO, it no longer clicks.

at this point, I'd rather have my money refunded so that I can buy a proper mouse.

this mouse is completely unusable as it is.
I DON'T HAVE A MOUSE2 BUTTON.
the scroll wheel moves on its own (to be expected from Logitech mice).

Before I finally order the Streamcam I do wanna quickly discuss: The reason I am looking for a new cam in the first place is because my C920 kept ended up very blurry and washy when live on stream, as in graphic issues, and just generally often going very pixelated when something flashy happens on screen. Is the jump from 30 fps to 60 fps gonna fix that? Or would I need a webcam with higher resolution than 1080p?

Generally FPS won't fix graphical issues.

Do you have the blurry issues when using a standard camera recording?
If not, the choppy pixelation is usually due to your bitrate when streaming.

In general its best to:

1. Check physical stuff.

• Clean the camera/lens
• Check the wire isn't damages or overly twisted/bent and that the port into the computer is clean and/or firmly secure in the USB.
• Test in a different port/computer if you're able.
  All those steps will help ensure it isn't something physical.

2. Next check on the camera itself, could be old and dying, but lets rule out streaming/internet.

• Test with generic recording software that doesn't stream or involve the internet that will let you know if the camera is bad before troubleshooting your streaming software and settings.
• If you are using other camera software, try to limit it to just one. Having multiple camera softwares controlling it could cause the blurry issues. Like combining G Hub and OBS controls. Generally if you can get manual focus on the C920, I recommend that as well.
  If the camera is clear with regular recording software the likely culprit is a bitrate and/or your internet.

3. Streaming can introduce a lot of stuff, but hopefully if everything else looked good above you can get a fix to your issues for free with some settings tweaks or checking on your internet connection. Since you mention it happens when things are bright or a lot is going on is could be your internet or the options you are choosing to process your video/streaming.

• If you're connection can't support streaming there isn't a lot to be done, but try to get a wired connection if possible or as strong of a wi-fi connection as feasible. You can test your speeds from a lot of places, but a popular one is: https://www.speedtest.net/
  • -# Here is a good quick overview of speeds and bitrates with some common resolution and framerate combos: https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/what-is-a-good-upload-speed-for-live-streaming. You can check your specific streaming software, but I think they'll have similar numbers since the only difference would be any unique codec/compression work the different programs would do.
• If you're speeds and framerates seem fine and in-line with recommendations that last bit I can think of is if you have your CPU handling the processing of your stream. This is usually going to go poorly and you almost always want a GPU doing the processing without a multi-system setup. Usually will fall under a GPU/Video Encoder option. Maybe these got swapped up at some point? Either way, play around with the encoder as that has solved a ton of issues for a lot of streamers.

1. You may need to specify your gear for the Bass Boost effect?
2. I'm not sure what the breathing intensity is, but if you are talking about any Lightsync device like keyboards, mice, headphones, microphones, etc.. you can usually adjust the time between "breaths" or when the lights reach their maximum brightness with the Rate option. A higher number (which is usually milliseconds - ms) means longer breaths. You can also change the brightness to lower the color "intensity". If its not enough you can also play around with making the colors darker or towards the direction of your other "breathing colors" so the difference isn't as intense. *(e.g., if you are rotating between red and blue you can try to get the colors closer to purple so there isn't as much change in color.) *

Hopefully those assumptions were correct and that's helpful, otherwise some more information to help narrow down the issues would help.

Not positive, but I would check a few things.

• Can you load your profile (which would generally need an internet connection) or is that blocked as well? You can see a profile, if you have one, at the top-right of G Hub often with an avatar.
• If you can't load a profile I'd double-check to make sure you haven't blocked the program. G Hub does have a bad history of breaking updates so a lot of people have blocked it from updating in the past. Worth checking out.

Otherwise, a basic repair/reinstall could help.. if you're positive there is nothing blocking it on your end.

This may get into some extra stuff that's tough to go over.. but it sounds like the program is being blocked.
Do you control your system/router? Technically it could be blocked on multiple levels, but assuming you or and administrator hasn't done any particular router work you can hopefully check your local computer.

If you run an elevated command prompt and utilize the command: netstat -ba (info here), you can get a list of your programs and potentially whether or not those ports are being blocked.
You might end up seeing something like:

If you're seeing things like TIMED_WAIT instead of ESTABLISHED or LISTENING it may indicate your local system is blocking the program. If they aren't on the list something else may be preventing them from running as well, but I, unfortunately, can't provide a lot more on that end of troubleshooting, soz.

G Hub keeps turning on Surround Sound and Blue Voice in Windows Settings but says it is not enabled in G Hub itself, and even if I manually turn it off, every time I restart my PC or turn off and on the headset turns both settings back on which destroys the sound quality (the Blue Voice is arguable I suppose), and for some reason when gaming I keep getting this crackling noise that cuts off all audio

Only recently with stuff like the mic on the 522 and a50 Gen 5 are we now where wireless mics are actually on par with wired ones, if not better in some cases

But razer and corsair did that well before logitech did

Does anyone know if the G Pro X Superlight 2 has a sensor problem after a certain amount of use? Mine is jumping in my aim when I make faster movements and has also been very inconsistent for a few days now.

The movements I make don't match my screen, I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but I signed up for exitlag and use it all the time, and this only happened after I started using it.

Sounds like exit lag is the issue. From the info I saw, you are basically routing thru them for "improvements" but adding more nodes to route thru will have a negative effect at some point. I've had a gpx2 since they released and never had any sensor issues

I believe that the A50s (both older and newer) have user replaceable batteries, albeit a bit more of a moderate effort than other headsets.

I have a genuine question for anyone that knows more about Logitech products than I do and the functions of every little intricate piece of the product involving the Logitech G502 Mouse.
My question is there are these little < > pieces around the sensor of my G502, and do these little glued on soft plastic pieces actually do anything and should I keep them/try to reattach them???? The edge of my mouse pad has ripped off both of them already and this is the second mouse this has happened to... My other mouse that had this happen I gave to my partner, and AFAIK they have had ZERO problems with not having the little < > pieces around their sensor? I can ONLY imagine these are fitted to the mouse to aid in preventing any debris from getting to the sensor, But the edge of my mouse pad is where I typically use my mouse aaaand wellll...... It kinda just rips them off, it starts with the mouse just getting caught on it, and this is VERY Irritating. But aside from the little bit of assistance they provide in keeping the sensor Clean, I personally see no other purpose for them being there. Can anyone provide any other input????

those are the skates. they are what make the mouse glide smoothly. They do wear out and over time will need replaced. there are many options for replacements online

removing the skates from around the sensor can create lift off distance issues but that is usually more dependant on how worn they are or the thickness if using aftermarket options

G hub app. Idk much about that specific product, but assuming it's a mouse.. I got a g502 lightspeed, and in the g hub app, you can set up the RGB to flash status colors when the criteria is met. So when charge is good, it shows green, when charge is ok, it's yellow, and when it's down to like the last 25% it flashes red. But that still lasts quite some time
