If the reciever is showing a box with the headset in G Hub, that's just G Hub saying, I see this receiver. However, the Inactive indicates the headset its trying to connect to is either:

• Turnned off
• Dead battery
• Not connect (obviously the case for a new one)

In device mananger check the headset in both audio (listening) devices and the microphones. If the microphone is disabled in Windows G Hub cannot use it, even the audio parts!

Yah, I would check to make sure you aren't using some USB extender/docking station. Low quality ones have this issue all the time.

the GPX2 has a few different report rate/polling rates you can pick from, the higher you go the more sensitive the connection is. This isnt likely the issue, but its worth a check

Ah, the glowing would generally indicate its charging only. Not that its connected. So you're saying plugging it in directly will still show as inactive in G Hub?
Make sure you using the cable it came with or one that has both charging and data (cheap cables won't have data capabilities and may be why the pairing is being finicky as well!)

thats what I assumed it would be, just wanted to check. everything mentioned here is stuff support will likely also ask, but its worth covering anyway. If most of these "normal" culprits arent the issue, then it may be defective in some way and need logitech help to get a replacement rolling. The only other thing to try would be exiting ghub and see if it still does it if its closed out (fully closed not just in the background). its unlikely but its another step support will hit that you can try before you hear back from them

Just because the headphones show as a box in G Hub doesn't mean the headset is active. Only that the receiver is. If it says Inactive in G Hub the headset is not connected.
The direct wire (especially with the original cable) will bypass the battery and wireless communications and it should be recognized then, especially after a reset.

If its not showing up when plugged in directly something else is very wrong. The headset is broken or the system is denying the connection.
Looks like that isn't a thing for the G733s.
-# Again, I would sanity check and in Windows and make sure you don't have any disabled devices. Since its common for the microphone to be disabled causing the whole headset to be disabled.

Just double-checking, since I was likely incorrect about plugging the headset in (it may not be able to connect and play via wired - only charging). Do you know if you got a version of the G733 made for Xbox/Playstation?
Small chance you are getting a reciever for the other type, even if plugging to the computer.
Ideally support checks your part number, but otherwise did any of that come up when you were getting a reciever from support?

G733 only has one type of USB, according to the product page it doesn't work with Xbox (it's not listed anyway).

I think it was mentioned before, dunno if it was you or to someone else, but there are two version of the USB for that specific headset due to updates Logitech did at some point. It's possible you have the wrong one, but that's something they'd have to correct, not sure if there's a fix you can do.

Nope, no idea. I don't have the headset myself. They have some way of knowing, but as far as I know they're not making the older USB any more so I dunno how you'd get your hands on that.

Reddit thread I saw, someone from Logitech was saying you either had a new enough headset to work with the USB or you had to replace the whole headset.

the only thing I dont have is the plain QR adapter which lets you use any wheel you want as long as it has a standard bolt pattern, but thats PC only. With fanatec you are pretty much locked down to only their wheel ecosystem

Hey y'all, I love the G522, but curious if there's any audiophiles who have experience with Mic EQing that could help me EQ the headset for YouTube Recording Ready.
Im not good at listening to what it sounds like and tweaking things like this as I can't really tell the difference while changing, only the entire before and after.

Overall not a lot you can control with a headset microphone, but some other questions like:

• Do you have a lot of background noise?
• Do you want a more feminine or masculine voice? Do you believe you currently have a more feminine voice or a more masculine voice?
• Can you speak loudly or does your living situation require you to be quieter than normal?
• Do you use any other voice software (like inside OBS, Voicemeeter, etc..)

To answer the questions:

• Not alot of background noise, but if the mic is to sensitive it may pickup some fan noise, I normally don't hear it unless I have no filters on at all.
• Masculine, I'm a guy so just want a quality warmth and balance to my voice.
  Right now I feel I have a masculine voice but sometimes it can come off a little higher, in the sense of like I'm talking from the top of my mouth not the deeper throat speaking, so I'm hoping to highlight the deeper points while muting out the higher, letting things be balanced but more warm.
• I can speak loudly, no problem there and I can get loud at times or be quiet at times when I'm mumbling.
• I use OBS, for capturing my Video and Audio. I've tried some filters on there to help keep the volume balanced. You can take a look on my youtube channel in my bio. As well for streaming.

DTS is a separate piece of software which will recognize the G522 headphones as licensed and will unlock the sound features accordingly.

You do not have to pay for it, since the purchase of your G522 comes with the license to run the specialized options (I think referred to as DTS: Headphones / DTS:X).
The app is free and it should recognize your headphones to let you know in the app the features are unlocked.

No the settings i change do not save in the system, it always goes to default everytime i close the dts app

there arent many settings to change on it, just plug it in, pick whatever DPI you are comfortable with, and use it
there are grips in the box if you want to try them, but anything beyond that will require using it to see if there is anything you dont like

Who ever it was that’s in here and works for Logitech and worked on the Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 compact just wanna say y’all’s are the best and the GOATS y’all’s just made the best mouse to ever be made in existence and make it fit a lot of people hands I’d even go as far to say more people will find the superlight 2 compact more comfortable and actually fit their hands like Zekken who had to switch off the g pro X Superlight 2 to Razer viper v3 pro cuz it was smaller in hand than the superlight 2 for him and he has inconsistency’s with larger mice after like a 1 game of Valorant match or so then he starts playing back so something like the superlight 2 compact being smaller will really help suit his hands better. Anyways y’all’s are geniuses which ever one of y’all’s or if it was even shroud who advocated for the superlight 2 compact since he switched off his g303 shroud edition cuz h’all’s stopped production on it and he switched to the g pro X Superlight 2 Dex which is still smaller than Superlight 2 when it comes to width and overall feel and y’all’s just made the dream of a century come true now y’all’s are finna become back to #1 for most nice used in pro league across all esports titles cuz more people can use y’all’s mode without strain in the hand, palm, and wrist. Just had to come in here and say y’all’s absolutely nailed it with this release and y’all’s about to see how much more superlight 2 compact stalls sell over the original Superlight 2 and see how much better it is to start making these smaller mice over the larger ones that only work for a few people vs smaller which works for majority of people. After all if Razer is anything to say here they sell out of their viper mini signature edition every drop at $300 a piece small mice clearly do sell well and the superlight 2 compact is no exception to that and will go off to selling great and doing even better than it’s older counterparts. That's pretty difficult to do with all of the extra buttons and the scroll wheel trick. That all adds weight, so if you removed all that, it's just a shape and I don't think 502 users would buy a mouse that had all those extra features cut out

Unfortunately I don't really share the same enthusiasm when it comes to the GPX2c. For me, it's just a smaller mouse with a Logitech logo on it.

Same mouse wheel, same thin PTFE skates, same light force buttons that 50% love and the other 50% don't like.

I'll buy it and try it. Usually smaller mice are a no go for me but it's worth a try. People have been wanting a smaller GPX for a bit and it'll be the same as dex, same internals, new shape. I've never had issues with the gpx2 so it's not a problem for me to buy another. I just hope they reuse the sake shape from the gpx2 and not use a different t skate deaign/shape again like the dex

Here's a good video on the G522 I just peeped. I've watched other videos from this guy when I researched my streaming mic setup.

As far as the headphone speakers the Razer is still just a stereo gaming headset. The only advantage is their speakers have a wider frequency response range. So unless you have gods gift to ears you wont hear the difference anyways.

The average person with perfect hearing only hears from 20hz-20,000hz. Hence why the vast majority of stereo headphones have 20-20k frequency response ranges. You can get audiophile headphones from Audiotechnica or Senheisser that will blow either of them out of the water. I don't think that's Logitech's market though.

As far as leaks go though, there's a big keynote presentation on 9/17 that Logitech has been hyping hard. I'm pretty sure they're unveiling some new products so you're only a week away from getting leaks.

running some unknown flasher utility may have been the killing blow. Theres no way to know what that did so it may not ever be recoverable. The only people that could verify if there was any harm done to it with that would be the people that wrote the original firmware, and those guys arent on the support team

In my Device Manager, the dongle is not recognized as a Logitech dongle, but as a separate sound card. It is detected as Logitech headphones, and it does play sound (judging by the mixer). However, I can’t connect headphones to it, and there’s no information anywhere about it—it’s like the ocean has been studied more than Logitech adapters.

its not a shame. its just not designed to work with it. its designed as a PC keyboard only so it works as intended

yes but you wont be able to access any of the higher polling features. itll be limited to at most 1000hz. Imo its not worth buiying high end PC gear on a platform that is going to be limited by the platform you are plugging it into

its not designed for console, again, just happens to work some of the key features are only on the platform it is designed for

playstation could push a firmware update that stops it from working. there is no intent by either party to maintain that functionality

you basically have infinite choices

for a mouse, you can get anything from known brands to cheap chinese mice, 99% of them have side buttons

as for a keyboard, just look for linear/tactile mechanical keyboards

but the second button is fine
