There is no way to connect that headset to the go xlr. The a50x doesn't have a line in or out like the last gen did. Some people online have had luck with connecting both seperatly and using the windows "listen to this device" in windows for monitoring but there is no way to control the headset with the goxlr

If you are still having issues with the infinite loading glitch (sadly not uncommon), you can hopefully try a clean install with the following steps.. but there is also a fairly in-depth guide above this link if you prefer manual stuff:

I recommend the steps in the link. Some people have login issues, some people have driver issues, and others have settings that soft-crash the program (from my limited understanding). Overall the clean install I mention hasn't ever failed me or anyone that I've helped reset.. but understandably a third-party removal tool is not ideal and manual removal options are lengthy.. but overall the quickest way to get around the issues from what I've seen.

Hopefully you guys both get a fixed setup soon one way or another!

Just know those brands aren't without their issues. Seen plenty of people have overheating issues with moza and mizas website is a nightmare. Credit card info being stolen from it

But yeah, magnetic motors generally overheat, especially during long sessions. The people you see are probably among the few who experience it, but they’re being overshadowed on the internet. I’ve already read about them and even met a couple of people with different wheelbases that also has a lingering overheating issue. (tbf we live in a hot tropical country and we dont use AC from time to time cus Electril bills)

ive also been in a cafe and have seen an Alpha Mini overheat way too much

and it doesnt throttle itself down

Yea hot climates are going to cause that to happen more than what would be otherwise considered normal

I don't think many of them actually have active cooling in them and just rely on passive heat soak from the aluminum housings

Yea logi has a universal qr so as long as it fits that bolt pattern, it'll work

It is their qr, but they adapter they have had 2 universal bolt patterns on it

So it you fit that bolt pattern, you can connect the wheel, just need to sort out buttons another way, but that's how most bases with universal adapters work

Most of them are good quality and at a great price. Some cheap monitors are surprisingly easy to break tho. As long as you are carful and take care of them, there shouldn't be any issues

sometimes that happens to me or something similar. The on and off button gets stuck halfway and makes it hearing on each side a bit funny. Try fully pushing it up (on) to fix it. if it proceeds to happen i would clean around the on button as it might be getting stuck due to dirt around it. That works for me but yeah what Nito said too. If you still have the warranty id try to return it and get a new one.

Does anyone have a proper way/ guide to get automatic profile switching to work properly?

I use the freestyle mode to change RGB on my brand new TKL Rapid, only for it to either a) change my desktop (which I had set for a solid color, ex. purple), or b) it doesn’t actually change the profile. I also don’t seem to be able to edit the GAME: Default profile. I have tried adding a custom .exe pathway, and that doesn’t work either. So sad because I love this feature but it doesn’t seem to properly work.

so some games that used to support it have had updates that have broken it, without a fix, but not every game has that feature baked in

the integration allows you the map discord functions like mute and deafen directly to a key on a mouse or keyboard, I use it but I get not everyone wants it setup that way

It's the game controlling lighting. Logitech doesn't know how the game is coded to be able to pull information from it. The game profiles has nothing to do with the lighting integration. Battlefind 6 beta has functiomal lighting control without ghub having any idea what the application is because the devs are carrying over integration from 2042

Ghub is just sending information sent to it by the game if it is capable. If the game isn't sending info, it's not going to have anything to display. Ther actual reality may be somewhere in the middle. I just dont see a fix for this being high priority since its a dying feature and its usually more beneficial to look at your screen for info than your keyboard lights

When you double-click 🖱 the Mute 🔇 button, it will disabled/enable sidetone.

• A double orange LED flash indicates the sidetone is active.
• A single orange LED flash indicates the sidetone is not active.

If you are not seeing the orange flash, something else may be wrong and I'd reach out to support since something may be broken.

Otherwise, once you've confirmed the headset has the double orange flash and the sidetone is active you may still need to adjust the strength. It may be too weak to hear.
You can adjust the strength by pressing the Mute 🔇 button and volume up/down buttons, up 🔼 for more sidetone, down 🔽 for less sidetone.

Honestly you have many options, just look for pads with rubberized bases

The one i use is a steelseries pad, it has a neoprene base (i think thats the name of the material), that thing defies gravity once its in place

Id say pretty easy, i went from a g502 to a chinese superlight style mouse, almost instant transition

The biggest problem is actually the weight difference

When i switched over it took me a few days to get my aim training scores back to where they were

(but its to be expected when you go from pushing around a brick to sliding something light as atoms on your pad)

i'm just more so picky about the shape, ergonomic is way more comfortable to me than ambi mice which is why i've stayed with g502 for so many years

Longer aim training sessions were a pain for me, but over time ive developed better endurance on the specific muscle groups solicited by aim training

You could also try aim training to get yourself more used to the mouse, but not as in aim training seriously like the pros might do, you could just do some scenarios you consider fun and just play them to give your muscles some practice

Something you could do (that wont replace having an actual 75+% keyboard but that does help), is use the mobile stream deck app to turn your phone into a pretty good productivity tool

Now personally ive only used the stream deck app to use my phone as soundboard buttons, but even just by doing that, the workflow potential it can have (when set up correctly) is quite obvious

Could be that your old headset "exaggerated" sound, that you have a bad g522 unit, or simply that youre not used to the g522s sound profile. I do recommend checking out rtings.com to see if they have reviews of both your sades and the g522, and comparing/checking what they had to say about both

the only codec thats lossless is aptX lossless and only 3% of headphones hhave them, none of them from Sony, LDAC is al;so not lossless. loessless also does not mean delayless. bluetoth will always have a delay and will always be bad for gaming, unless there is significant advancement

it doesnt have it because it doesnt need it. logitech wireless headsets use a 2.4Ghz dongle to transmit wirelessly, not bluetooth. Some have bluetooth as an accesory to be able to take calls but itsa never a primary function. There is no noticeable delay when using this like there would be with mostly any form of bluetooth

you never find a like price wireless headset that is better than a wired version. sending input and output wirelessly creates a bandwidth issue so being able to transmit those on a dedicated wire is going to reduce the need for compression and allow more data to be sent. A $100 wired headset will always be better than a $100 wireless one.

My A30’s and A50’s don’t use the old Astro center. Logitech bought them out and now the customization is through G Hub.

I don’t think it matters though as the g hub lets you tune everything.

It was years ago, and I wasn't using it for my headset back then. Remember, I went from astros to these because I got sick of the overpriced trash.

Either way, I should have read the reviews more. It's just so weird that like they'll be fine for like 90% of it, no latency problems, no problems at all on bluetooth. But "NOOO YOU SEE THE LIGHTSPEED DONGLE IT REALLY IS THE LYNCHPIN OF THE ENTIRE PROCESS"

Let me explain it in simple terms:

Bluetooth operates on a lower frequency (Except for newer bluetooth). Both versions are less stable, which can lead to problems when downloading information.

2.4 GHZ dongles on the other hand are much faster and a lot lower in latency, and a lot less prone to interference. That's why these are used in competitive settings.

And also, I've looked around now, and I can confirm that G Hub never ever ever supported any bluetooth firmware updates. Not even Logitech Gaming software did that.

You can maybe try looking at like the steelseries qck performance line, which is their attempt at artisan style pads (sort of), but thats as close to mainstream top tier pads you will get

Dongles are actually a necessity, ** IF** you want to do anything serious with your headphones.

At one point I was using my Sony WH1000XM4s (so like not cheap headphones mind you) to play whilst connected in bluetooth, and the latency was so bad I couldn't do any time sensitive editing (like aligning transitions to the beat for example), and for gaming... well, let's just say if I held down left click, I would hear my first shot when the third shot was already fired on screen. And that wasn't even the worst it got, at one point it was like five shots of latency...

Meanwhile with a dongle, you basically skip all the limitations of bluetooth, particularly codecs.
Codecs are like a big selling point of modern headphones, but the thing is, most devices like phones/computers don't even have hardware encoding support for these codecs, which creates a large amount of latency. With a dongle ? The manufacturer is free to choose how they want to encode the audio stream, so they can make their dongle have the hardware encoding chips, to allow for much lower latency than software based encoding. They can also skip a lot of the stuff bluetooth does that is unnecessary for a simple connection to headphones, to reduce latency that tiny bit more.

Okay. I get that. But none of that is a barrier to "is the device detected by the software" which is the only thing that tech like Ghub would need to detect my headset, change settings on it, and allow for things like voice modulation via Blue.

Their own website basically says you should sync with Bluetooth or cable before lightspeed.

So basically an entire suite of software which is necessary to run the headset optimally, is locked behind lightspeed.

Not because of a hardware necessity. But because of a software one. All the hub would need to do is treat a Bluetooth connected device as detected. That is literally it.

And Logitech apparently is unwilling to do that.

there is still a barrier (somewhat) as the way most headsets use bluetooth is just an audio protocol, not really something for other types of data transmission too. Also, voice modulation would be garbage, as bluetooth microphone audio has ALWAYS been notoriously garbage. Could actually be one of the reasons they don't allow you to use bluetooth with G HUB, so people don't start asking "oh why does this feature sound garbage" and generate negative word of mouth

Bluetooth audio transmission being trash is really more a feature of how the audio is processed after receiving...now everything from discord to teams has something to neaten it up.

There really isn't this gigantic barrier everyone is mentioning.

bluetooth audio transmission (regarding microphone) is a limitation of bluetooth, not processing. the issue is that bluetooth provides minimal bandwidth for audio, so whenever you use your microphone, your headset splits bandwidth between audio and microphone, which causes very bad audio quality

Eh, I'll do like side by side comparisons maybe sometime. I dunno, it's just...like, maybe it's just because I had a bad dongle and I had a bad experience with tech support the first time around. Like, I had these problems day one with it with the connection being terrible on the lightspeed receiver (which like, it's literally at my desk right by my feet so distance shouldn't be a problem, and even when I have it like on the USB ports on top it would disconnect on a regular five minute interval.

could be interference (for the bad connection) and for the usb ports, you may have an "overloaded" motherboard so your usbs are malfunctioning a bit

support probably filters out tickets by region because of legal stuff like how warranty laws are different from place to place, so theyre only going to give proper support on products from their region to prevent issues (this is just a theory, i do not work for logitech and likely never will)

Nnnnnope! And it happens even if it's the only one plugged into one section! And it's the only thing I have giving me that trouble. ^^ It would literally -just- be my Pro X 2 disconnecting every 2 minutes or so on the lightspeed dongle. With nothing else on Lightspeed.
