I just bought a new PC and I'm having trouble with Logitech G HUB detecting my mouse (Logitech G Pro X Superlight). Every time I start the PC, G HUB doesn't recognize the mouse unless I disconnect and reconnect the USB receiver manually.

On my previous PC, it was detected instantly without any issues.

I've tried different USB ports, and the mouse works fine otherwise, but this is pretty annoying.
Does anyone know how to fix this or what might be causing it?

I bought a Logitech Pro X 2 Lightspeed and my old Logitech G433 had a different sound (thing that I loved). Does anybody have a good equalization for Call of Duty Warzone? I've tried the ones that you can download from G Hub but I don't like them.

What storage compatibility does your pc have? You have 3 broad options, HDD (spinning disks), SATA ssd (slow), or NVMe (FAST), so just check your motherboard’s compatibility then work from there

Compatibility will depend on your hardware.
I would personally consider:

  • HD (slow)
  • SATA SSD (fast)
  • NVMe (best - very fast)

SATA SSD will have the cheapest, flexible, and best compatibility in every scenario I've found outside handheld gaming.
Some things like certain laptop models, using NVMe drives along with several PCIe slots can result in degraded performance. Sticking with SATA SSD is easiest and not "slow" compared to NVMe, in my opinion. Not as fast, but definitely not slow like HDD.

Can someone help abt a G29 problem
the problem:Problem with force feedback with the Logitech G29: The force feedback works fine while cruising at high speeds, but the force feedback disappears or gets "stuck" while driving in slow corners. While turning, the wheel sort of freezes and keeps on turning in the opposite direction that I am turning which is extremely frustrating. Have tried reinstalling G HUB, multiple versions of G HUB, settings, even tried reinstalling windows but no success at all.

Also rust lets you bind things ingame to the point of that you can press 1 button and it can be bound to craft any amount of any combination of items or a specific item and you can make the binds any sorts of combination of button presses. So you can basically do any macro with binds ingame unless you're trying to make a sequence of button presses which seems quite useless when you can bind it to make it instantly at one press of a button. If you are trying to script however. Then you are just bad at the game, get good instead or play something else that is way more casual.

Move down the release of only the tab down to the release part of the sequence.

You might have to adjust the ms used in it but it should look something like,

On hold:
On release: Tab⬆️

You're not really being specific enough for us to help you that much.

What type of action is it, matters a lot for how doable it is and also how it can be executed.

Does the dpi back up needs to be triggered by the action itself ending or simply after the action was activated.

Do you need the action to keep going or is it a one time thing.

This is a longshot, but can you check to see if you have any software from Killer Networking installed? Some PCs have WiFi/Network hardware in them from Killer and their software can cause install issues with G HUB. You can check this by going to Task Manager, sorting the processes alphabetically and then scrolling down to those beginning with K. If there's anything there mentioning Killer then end the process(es) and then try reinstalling G HUB.

I suppose some have "protective film" for transport that should come off... but that isn't often labelled. It's usually blue. Definitely take that off like the instruction manual will likely mention.
If you're talking about the soft rubber/foam. Then it will depend on y our clearance space, best to remove if your hardware doesn't support it, otherwise they are likely "cooling pads" and good to leave on.

I, personally, think BlueVoice is an equally powerful interface to other high-end options that works amazingly well.. but also has "easy-modes" to get a fair amount of value without having to look into anything super-technical. The ability to download very technical presets is great too.

Overall it was one of the major reasons I swapped to Logitech from other brands and/or Voicemeeter. I couldn't get Voicemeeter to stop crashing consistently. Simple setups probably wouldn't suffer as much with other software. Obviously you're locked into Logitech gear with the BlueVoice software, but since you've already got the hardware I highly recommend trying it out!
Of interest, you can test out BlueVoice live on any of your recording software or even online ones like https://online-voice-recorder.com/
You can check/uncheck BlueVoice or swap audio profiles live to hear the difference when you play that recording back.

In the lighting settings in g-hub down the bottom of the window there is a sync button. Some light settings prevent it from being enabled (for example ghost typing).

If you click the gear icon in the bottom left to access hardware settings you can adjust the light time frame for the 915 TKL, can't remember if you can make it unlimited though. Not sure on the 905 but the mice I've used you couldn't keep them from turning off eventually. Keep in mind with wireless devices having them full brightness without timeout will have you charging them way too often...

The G Cloud does have dual band wifi and should work fine.
Of interest:

  • your router settings can be different between the bands... so you may have to make sure it's set up similarly.
  • 5.0GHz does have less penetration and coverage compared to 2.4GHz. In general it's recommended over 2.4 but not if it's multiple rooms or another floor away from. The router. Hopefully you can test closer to your router.
  • If you're streaming from your PC over a shared network it may be worth resetting your network settings as a lot of gaming tweaks to computers disable such things to focus on regular online gaming to get lower ping/latency.. But will cause disconnection issues with shared networks.

Hey guys, I had to reset my G Hub with the infinite loading glitch today as well so I'll try to get as comprehensive but straight-forward of a guide as I can to cover the couple of issues that could occur. I'm not a top-industry expert and I don't have access to any kind of source code, so this is just my experience and assumption that has worked consistently without taking too much time. There is a very quick TLDR at the end. 👍

Overall there are two main issues I've seen when this loading issue occurs.

  1. The program is trying to access your Logi-ID account. This account stores a lot of your information, but in particular is gets presets and some saved information to make the experience a bit smoother. Especially if reinstalling! During the login process I'm given the impression that your access gets messed up and the program never loads.
  2. The other issue that is likely more common is that the program messed up some drivers or settings (especially with newly introduced gear). This causes the program to get confused when attempting to update everything and the settings/data doesn't make sense. Since a lot of the times uninstalling doesn't fully remove these components in an attempt to save you time you'll still get this unless you do a deep uninstall.

I did think about getting a full manual write-up.. but overall it would be a lot to fit into a Discord message and is also not user friendly. Things like manually editing a registry and writing up steps to get your Logi-ID client_id and applying it to command run lines just isn't a great thing from a security perspective. So although they have always worked for everyones' computers I've tried, they may just be a bit much. I'll have a simpler to follow setup with the help of a third party program that does an excellent job of providing additional information if you prefer completely manual efforts instead so I don't have to have an insane write-up about them.. plus the program will be far more accurate as the program changes and updates in the future.

Fix Your Logi-ID:
  1. We want to clear any login information related to your Logi-ID so that G Hub won't potentially get hung up on it. To start, we need to ensure we know what browser G Hub is going to use to try and connect to. You'll want to identify and/or setup your browser of choice as the Windows default browser. If you're not familiar this guide is likely the simplest I could find: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-set-default-web-browser-windows-11
  2. Now that we know and/or have setup the browser that will be used to verify your credentials and account we need to log out so there isn't anything that could be cached or having issues. You can go to: https://www.logitechg.com/en-us/logi-id.html
  • I click the "LOGIN" button regardless to see if it pulls up your account. If you are brought to a login option with your email/password you are all set, you can skip to the uninstallation. Otherwise if your account loads look for a settings menu and log out. After you've logged out your all done.

In case you're wondering what is going on with the software... it can get crazy complicated! This is just for the curious and isn't otherwise important as far as following the steps go.
Nerd stuff:
I believe G Hub (in its current state) will attempt to load a URL with some login credential information similar to:
https://id.logi.com/?client_id={redacted}&code_challenge={redacted}&code_challenge_method=S256&redirect_uri=com.logi.ghub%3A%2F%2Fauth&response_type=code&scope=openid&style-template=FD75E9C6-8E0D-423D-B549-0536AF741516
My info was redacted, but its my limited understanding that the code_challange may be mismatched from what the system is sending vs. what is needed. Overall, this results in the system getting kicked back and potentially not handling this properly or trying over and over and never succeeding. Is is possible to force a correct code_challange by running the G Hub program with custom line arguments that you get from the website.. but again its probably best to just reset and reinstall. I couldn't find the old Reddit post that had a decent write-up about it.

Perform A Complete Uninstall

  1. A normal uninstall is likely to leave a lot of leftovers. This is pretty normal and saves most people a ton of time if they were to reinstall later with almost no impact on space or system resources. However, these long standing issues seem to be universally related to some mix-ups with how the old version worked versus how a newer version interprets those settings. As such we want to remove as much leftovers as possible to avoid this and start with a clean install. This will result in your settings being completely gone!! As such I highly recommend that you save any of your loadouts/profiles/presets by "sharing" them as private, at least, so you can download them later.

  2. The best way I have found to do a deep uninstall is to use the program Uninstalr. There are other options out there such as Revo Uninstaller if you have different preferences. I will also include a baseline of installation locations and registry data.

  • I highly recommend Uninstalr since it is free, As is freeware... for real free! I have personally never seen issues using it. Then, most importantly for this write up, it will show you what it is uninstalling before doing so which allows you to manually handle things if you prefer that over running any third-party programs with elevated access. There is also a great portable version.
  • I would recommend doing a complete uninstall for Logitech G Hub with Uninstalr with the option for it to handle restarting so it can also handle potentially tricky registry entries that are stubborn, which makes the manual options far more time consuming.

🎉 That's it! I have never had this option fail. 🎉

Nerd stuff:
There are a lot of crumbs programs need to install in Program Files, User folders, and the Windows Registry. Tracking these down is nuts. A lot of people do get the %APPDATA% folders, but there are more hidden ones and the registry can take a while to search for anything that would have "Logi", "lghub", "ghub", etc... I can't recommend Uninstalr enough just for the fact it will get you a list similar to the one I'll paste below (due to character size limits). However, if you wanted to try manually deleting things and not install anything period, this is likely a great start. Just keep in mind as G Hub updates and improves in the future these may not be accurate. Other things may be unique to your system, so you'll still have to use the regedit search function for the above mentioned terms.

has logitech said or did something about the double typing issue on the g915x? does it only affect certain switch and layout combo or is the problem consistent across all versions? reviews on reddit and amazon have both brought this issue up and how much trouble some had to go through with logitech support. even then some people's replacement they received still double typed.

i'm interested in the g915x but if logitech is silent about it, i won't bother anymore. not worth the risk of dealing with defects for such an expensive item.

I have had no issues between myself and 2 friends that have the G915X (and the TLK versions). Hopefully you have the ability to check out a box store for a more instant return policy and/or trade off to something else if you get such issues.

Off a quick precursory search I could only find issues a few years old with the non-X versions, although I never had issues with those either. Regardless, there were quick a few improvements so I couldn't recommend the non-X anyways unless the price was significantly reduced for the non-X.

This will heavily depend on your system, provider/launcher (e.g., Steam, Epic, etc...), and your default settings.

Common default locations are:

Soz, I don't think the built-in low-code macro builder supports "interruptible macros." Generally once you toggle off the last loop will finish without continuing afterwards.

Logitech does support, I believe, interruptible macros that can have a lot of customizable options through the LUA programming language.

I believe up to a month or two ago Rust changed their macro detections and this has caused issues with G Hub macros, LUA macros, some other macro-style software as well (such as AutoHotKey), and some other options. There isn't really a "fix" as I imagine its aimed at attempting to hamper uses that go against the Terms of Service or have some unfair advantage, I don't keep up with Rust personally, so I'm unsure if this effects other aspects.. but for now most scripts are going to have delays, stutters, and/or odd behavior based on the feedback we've seen here. Soz!

And when it's just plugged in, it's kind of heavy and that's how it should be, and when I go to beam ng drive, for example, then everything is fine, but when I want to travel, it's light, it's not convenient, and when I press the gas, for example, it turns like crazy. I had to get used to lowering the charging side earpad first into the funnel location, at which point its a bit easier than dropping them straight down to sit correctly. Otherwise if the charging pins are making contact its not as critical the other earpad doesn't sit perfectly straight.
Not as ideal as a more well engineered funneling shape, but I haven't seen a good base in... years. I wonder if anyone has made some helpful 3D printed accessories.. 🤔

I believe qt5core.dll is a C++ framework. Lots of programs could use it and I believe G Hub does.
I recommend Uninstalr because it will find all the registries, manually delete them, restart, recheck for anything new and/or old that didn't delete, force-delete those, and then restart again.. which is way more efficient and will usually solve this, but otherwise if you uninstall G Hub with this method and still get this on start-up another program is having issues.

Uninstalr may help identify, otherwise you can try to use the Windows OS Add or Remove App to modify/repair your installations until you find the culprit.

I've seen Reddit posts mention that Revo works as well. So that's likely still a safe bet even with the free version. I'm fairly certain during an update some registry key that references the qt5core.dll file got messed up and produces that error. Reinstalling after deleting all the registry data locations keeps it from staying and pointing to the wrong location.

I just like the process of Uninstalr... but it has been a while since I've used Revo.

It's my limited understanding that yes, this can happen with sensors when you get surfaces that exist closer to the sensor than a flat surface would generally ever be. Doesn't have to be your finger, skin, or most other materials. If you are "pushing" your "surface" too close to the sensor it will interpret the data its getting back as fairly sporadic and random.

I'm not positive there is a fix since I'm not aware of any practical applications in which this would meaningfully come up. 🤷

Chances are your fan for the CPU isn't spinning. Even without thermal paste you could launch Windows. Not much else.. but messing up going into BIOS is likely zero airflow.
Is the fan spinning, or do you have a AIO water cooling unit?

Chances are you didn't connect the "pump fan" for your AIO. Even if the fans are spinning connected to the radiator (or whatever computers call them) you'll need another hidden fan to pump the cool water. Otherwise the AIO is doing nothing. Luckily not a bad fix.

Does your AIO only have 1 cable like that? You need to have the pump cable, not any other potentially built-in fan cable going to that.

  • 1 (or more) for the fans

I only have Logitech mice available to me at the moment (for sanity checking), but I thought this was common with most modern mice sensors. I recall some goofballs that had Razer mice that were "broken" with the random spazzing until they cleaned out some dirt or something stuck in the groove. 😛

It is possible other brands/sensors don't do this, but for instance the newer G502s and the Superlight do this.

So I got a g502 x lightspeed and I bound the lower side button and the 2 buttons next to left click on the software. Then I saved the profile, turned on device memory save, and unplugged from my laptop and put it into my ps5. Then I went in-game and none of my binds I set on the software worked. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Although unlikely.. your AIO could be dead. Here are a few things to check that normally won't cause issues with new AIOs but older AIOs (after 3 years) could have trouble with high-end CPUs.

  • Get BIOS drivers and the full suite of AMD drivers. Especially if you kept a previous drive with the OS, your drivers could be out of whack thinking there is different gear in your computer.
  • Hopefully it is above the CPU. See stuff like this.
  • Hopefully it is fairly silent and you can look at speeds in the BIOS to ensure the pump fan is maxed out.
  • If you hear loud gurgling water, you may not have enough water to complete the rounds.
    • -# Most refills for AIOs are not user-serviceable, but hopefully you can look online for a chance if you're on a budget. =[

Overall, the best way to test if its just your AIO is to grab a cheap generic mount fan, which will be just fine even for high end CPUs for standard loads. If the fans do fine your AIO may be dead. =[ The chances during a swap are pretty unlikely, so hopefully you can check the above first... or it could have been your previous CPU was doing okay with a dying AIO.. but now that you have a much strong and awesome CPU its struggling.

I got it like 2 days ago and it has worked perfectly until now I over turned maybe on grand terismo and now the feed back or like force is not here any more it’s limp and when I try forza it kinda works then tweaks then stops. Hello, I was thinking of getting into sim racing and I was looking at the g923. I was reading online that you shouldn't play it at night because it is very loud. I was wondering if anyone knows if it is actually that distracting or if it can be turned down?

the only way to turn it down would be lowering the ffb/disabling it entirely, but seeing how the g923 is a weak wheel, you lose out a lot on the experience

  1. Typically that happens when the headset is swapping between the Bluetooth and Lightspeed (2.,4GHz USB dongle) modes. I would try to check that the button is not stuck and or dirty and/or try to use other USB ports and or ensure they are clean and have a good connection to the dongle.
  2. The next step if your positive everything is in order is to try and reset the connection in G Hub.
  • -# You can do this from G Hub with from Settings RightArrow General RightArrowDevice Pairing Tool.
  1. If you're still having a consistent issue you may have a defective set. Pretty unlikely, but since its luckily a new headset it should be well within warranty and/or store return policy.

The easiest way to double-check your onboard settings and update them is to run this tool. No installation needed, I believe. However, you must already be in onboard memory mode, this software can't swap the devices for you, only G Hub can I believe.

  • Profiles are a bit confusing for new users. They store settings for all your devices. You can find a list under G Hub Settings RightArrow Profiles (a list will usually be near the bottom) Details (of the profile you want to edit where device settings are stored).. then you can check your mouse settings under that profile.

Generally if you have no access to the OS you will need to reinstall it. You will lose all your encrypted data, but should still be able to wipe the drive and start fresh.
Hopefully a friend or another device can download (an assumed) Windows OS and install from there.
I recommend this setup to create a flash drive installation media so you can just plug it in, boot to it from BIOS and use it to erase, partition, and reinstall OS on your original drive. 👍

Beyond that if you lost access, there isn't anything to really be done. That is just how security is. 🤷

The 2.4GHz connection should use less battery and have significantly less delay than older Bluetooth versions. Otherwise newer Bluetooth devices shouldn't have much delay at all either. Wireless audio is in a pretty good position at the moment, so although audiophiles will prefer superior mixers/DACs and the like... USB-based options are in great shape for the vast majority of other users. 👍

I think you'll be hard pressed to tell the difference between wireless and wired. I feel that's been the case for Bluetooth and 2.4GHz for a few years now.
However the 2.4GHz (Lightspeed) connection is high quality like many other competitors. I think you'll find the upgrade to going without wires to be a huge bump up. I will likely never go back to wired.. to many chairs getting caught.. or dogs chewing through the lines... or laptop almost cracked from being pulled.. 😛

Hope you get a good setup either way, and ideally any order from Logitech or a legit store will let you exchange if they just aren't up to your standards. 👍

In my opinion, any micro-USB charging requirement is frustrating for me. I have the good fortune to only have USB-C connections so having to require a completely separate connector.. and one that's prone to break if you look at it funny is worth the upgrade.
Outside of that, if the micro-USB connection doesn't bother you.. the upgrades are not worth the extra money or exchanging in my opinion. Others that are more familiar may be able to follow up later.
