mono audio is the lack of separation and there is no imaging and separation, that doesnt seem like thats what you want. if it is, mono audio is usually togged at the OS level or in game

the obvious difference is movies are mastered and scored to be consumed in that way, music and games not so much, but most music (and a small handful of games) benefits a lot more from higher fidelity so long as you have the gear to replicate it, which most gaming headsets are not. imaging is usually more dependant on the game engine than the headphones used. I dont have them posted here since its not super relevant, but I also have a small headphone collection too

I'm not sure they make custom gooseneck lengths.
Theoretically if you could find one from other headsets or third-party replacements that have a 2.5mm audio jack they may work. The Logitech G PRo X 2 detachable microphone is 6 inches I believe. So whatever gooseneck length you get above that may work depending on how far off it is.

You may also be able to do some adapter goofiness, but I'm not sure they have adapters that will fit... theoretically you could just use two adapters to get some extra distance while still maintaining the stiffness for the goosneck usage. I'm not positive they make adpaters that would fit into the headset by default. =[

As long as the cable is the right shape to not be blocked by the shape of the plastic near the charging port, you should normally be able to use your mouse wired. Just make sure your USB C cable does actually support data transmission, otherwise you'll just be charging the mouse

It's more flexible than the stock cable, but probably less durable.

Durability isn't much of a concern if you're just gonna be using it to charge and game, since charging shouldn't take too long

You'd only really ever need to use it while charging if you aren't paying attention. These mice have really good battery so even at like 10% you'd still have hours and can the charge it overnight.

Not normal.
There could be a bit going on and there are a lot of things to help troubleshoot. It sounds like some program, system, or communication is being looped back into your "microphone". This is sometimes done purposefully, but is not a usual default. Since you have a headset there isn't any way for the microphone to hear sound coming out of the earcups. If you have open speakers, ensure they aren't playing sound that the microphone could pick up.

Beyond that some troubleshooting steps to help determine which program or system is looping back the sound.
We primarily want to determine does it only occur with Discord? or a specific game? Would be good to know if specific programs are doing this, or communication styles, or if all system sounds are looping back.
Hopefully you get the chance to test some audio with standard audio recorders, website like https://online-voice-recorder.com/, or even testing options in Discord or other programs like Teams.. whatever you might use.

1. System sounds: Having a "system sound" running like some music player or the default windows sounds will help determine if those are being looped.
2. Discord (or other game sounds): if you are able to have someone test in a chat or playing sound-board sounds these would be program specific and will help narrow down which program is looping since its options shouldn't effect anything else like a game or your system.
3. in-game sounds: Some game settings could be messed with so they are playing sound back when you use in-game voice chat, especially in combination with Discord as another recording communication channel.
4. **Check to make sure you don't have multiple sound programs fighting each other. **Things like G Hub Bluevoice, Voicemeeter, Mixline, etc.. can cause some strange behavior depending on how you are linking things up. Thousands of possiblities, so it may be easiest to get this information before further troubleshooting.

Hope you get a fix soon either way.

I've had 3 superlight 2's and none of them had that issue.

I even run at 1000 hz only, and I still don't feel any input lag.

I did however have a first copy with really stiff buttons and underside creaking. Then a second copy with ok buttons, but I got the battery rattle (I opened the mouse and fixed it), then a third one with ok buttons (a bit too stiff still) and side creaking. Doesn't stop me from maining it, since I can't tolerate other shapes, but I do wish Logitech would make a version with mechanical switches.

I feel as though the lightforce switches fixed 2 problems (button rattle and potential double clicking), and introduced even more problems. Stiff buttons, Loud buttons, mushy buttons over time (happens with all opticals), more sluggish rebound time (at least it feels that way), which means less spammability. So, Omrons: 2 problems. Lightforce: 5 problems.

the painting of the letters tend to fade after a few years, meaning keyboards are short lived. I currently use a k120 and I have to guess the letters because many of them are erased

would not recommend gluing them back on. mouse skates are a wear item and will need to be replaced eventually and if they are glued on it may make it more difficult than needed to remove (or damage the mouse if the wrong glue is used) and may also create an additional height in one area that may effect the sensor. For how cheap skates are, its just easier and a safer bet to replace them

You can play on keyboard but the racing wheel makes the experience better

forza is usually faster on controller, but you can use a wheel. Its only really a "need" in more serious sims and even then you can get away with a controller sometimes

Im not sure where the astro thing is coming from. There has been no indication it will be an astro headset that I have seen. They also say "the legend will be much clearer" maybe implying its a revival of an older well liked headset which would rule out a brand new A60 model entirely. Hey everyone. I have a g502 lightspeed and its been working great the pat few months. Well, that is up until yesterday when GHUB did an update. Since the update, GHUB pops up every few seconds saying the DPI has changed although it still the same and I didn't push the button. Also, the mouse movement is no longer smooth or fluid. I found a support article that mentioned going into control panel and turning off the percision setting. While that helped some, the movement is still far from being smooth, like it was.

Anyone else having this issue? Any suggestions?

That's why. It needs to use the usb sound card for ghub to pick it up. It's just using default audio drivers with the 3.5 since that port doesn't send or receive any info other than audio

Other things to consider would be the resolution your monitor is running at. That will determine whether that CPU and GPU combo is going to suffice. And definitely a +1 for that 32 GB of RAM.

Again depending on res, you should be mostly fine. Only issues you may encounter are with LMU at higher graphics settings and ac:Evo. LMU will be res dependant tho since it can just be iffy sometimes even at 3440x1440 on my 3090, ac Evo is early access and may get better over time. Other major titles like iracing, ac, acc, dirt rally and others that are a few years old will be more than fine on that system except at maybe 4k is some cases but I wouldn't consider a 3070 a 4k card anyway

o question my G502 sensor is like not working, so from my USB to my mouse wont connect for some reason to anything. I tried my computer, another computer, a xbox, damn even a PS5 and still cant find out the issue. It was working fine one day and the next it just wont work. its actually quite bad for games since it has a really low polling rate, logitech also quite famously makes the G502/G502X which is not light at all

the polling rate thing is a good example of why they have 2 apps. There is no reason to bake that into an office mouse but is quite critical for gaming ones so its easier just to seperate them and keep people from asking why they cant pump up their polling on an office mouse like they can somthign else in teh same software

Honestly I stopped following what Logitech was doing after I got rid of my g502, they just don't really have really competitive offerings compared to other brands

Well uh let's just say every brand implemented some kind of rapid trigger a few months before Logitech... A few. And probably other things too, Logitech doesn't seem like the fastest when it comes to catching up to other brands

Unless you're playing some random game that requires absolutely exquisite keyboard inputs from the player, but I don't think any games are that extreme to the point where getting a better keyboard would legitimately be an immediate help in playing the game

It's not because you had it for months that other brands didn't drop their HE keyboard months before logitech

Logitech is clearly among the slowest, if not THE slowest to hop onto the HE bandwagon

Implying that it's somehow inferior because other brands had it before them is weird tho. Razer has had it for a while but their take is by far the worst since it's on an optical switch and lacks control but they are better becasue it released sooner?

Anyways Razer probably excels for non analog keyboards, the optical switches (not the analog version) are probably the best thing you can get if you don't want HE

Razer never made a wireless optical board because they couldn't figure out how to keep the switches from draining the battery. Logitech beat them to the punch with that on the pro x 60

Most of the issues are always shipping related since they use a batch ordering system. Just gotta sit and wait until they hopefully get to you and doesn't result in a cancelled order

Oh well then it's not really an issue it's just impatient people asking when their keyboard is coming, the same thing happens all the time in any dev community when it's been more than a week without an update

Well it is an issue since their system will auto cancel orders that need attention in a certain time but their support can barely respond in time to prevent that

It's not impatience it's people trying to get their order so they don't have to go back into the order queue

It does but it's a problem they cause themselves by using the system they do. Their prices are too much higher than everyone else's to have to wait that long on a time sensitive issue.

You can drop $400 io a 80he and have to wait 3 weeks just for a reply on a support email if you have an issue

but out of all the mainstream HE boards the Logitech one is decent

id pick that over corsair and razer

I'd tie it with Apex Pro only cause Steelseries support is dookie

You get 2 year warranty with Logitech Gaming stuff tho so you get a peace of mind

nah g hub has too many variables going on, no one has a direct answer, all anyone can do is provide basic troubleshooting steps

at one point i had some weird issue with the amd driver menu not opening, simply ending all amd tasks (relating to the driver menu) and reopening it works every time
