Hello i need help, basically i just downloaded logitech G Hub again and my mic is too loud with my input gain is at 0 and my master output level at 100

hey i recently bought a logitech mouse with side buttons on both side. i am right handed and use my thumb for the left sided buttons, but what finger am i supposed to use for the buttons on the right? i use the palm grip and neither my ring or pinky finger works well for the buttons, i was wondering what other people used

Without any information about the type of mouse.. its sounds like you got an ambidexterous mouse so left-handed people can use those sides easily. I imagine easier to manufacture a double-sided mouse than to have a specifically left-sided mouse.

Otherwise I would assume your right-ring finger. Whatever is comfortable for you. 🤷

You may want to check your Operating System settings to ensure it isn't quite on your microphones specifically while the rest of your sounds are relatively quite. If G Hub was recently installed it may have set it to a default 100.

in my setting my microphone volume is at 100% which is what GPT told me to do and in my G hub my mic is at 100 in the master output and at 0 in the input

Ideally Windows should be controlling how loud your stuff is, but I'd ensure its set lower in Windows initially..
Example:

I have the pro lightspeed wireless mouse, it is ambidextrous with swappable side buttons for either none, left, right, or both. i installed all of the buttons to have them on either side

There are usually 2-3 levels.

1. Your physical microphone if you have one that has separate gain. Most cheaper microphones won't have this, they'll just have a knob that adjusts the digital settings.. but some can and/or if you use other equipment that might control the loudness.

• You likely don't need to worry about this one though.

2. Settings in G Hub (this is often called input gain)
3. OS settings like above.

Also keep in mind if your using a micrphone that's built into a headset you likely want the game/standard audio. Not something that might be called "call audio" or "communication audio". The communication/call audio is specific to phone calls specifically or similar things and usually not when you are gaming or on other standard software.

If you OS setting for input audio is set to 0 you should not be hearing anything from your microphone.. something else may be going on?

Although G hub may be overriding actually.. its been a bit since I looked.

I would just lower the input gain in G Hub.

I think the ambidexterous stuff is great, but personally haven't used them. Hopefully some more people that use same-dominant-sided buttons will chime in later!

I would set it to 50 (for a percentage) to start. Then lower your Input Gain to 50. Change the Input Gain higher or lower as you test. The G Hub input gain is likely to be the major component.

Im pretty sure most people use the G Pro Wireless just with whatever 2 side buttons align with their dominant side (left side buttons for right hand etc) using all 4 is not common and will require you to figure out how best to grip it and use it on your own.

got it! ok so along with that my OS settings are at 50% for my mic and my Logitech G hub volume is set 50% on the input like you said and my master volume is at 100% aswell, does that seem correct?

I'm not sure what master volume is... but the G Hub Input Gain is likely what you want to raise/lower to get a volume you like.

Hello, so i also had another question. I know you probably cant right now, but i have little to no idea what the Logitech G hub app does. would you be able to explain it to me?

also i do have some settings on the Logitech G hub app that i like how they sounded but they would cutout whenever i would record fortnite so i turned up the volume and the High pass but it never really worked, then i turned down the game volume and that didnt work either, any idea? like the microphone would muffle out and stuff whenever i would get on the battle bus. i used to have my noise reduction at like 2dB because it would take out the mouse clicking and whatnot but not really my voice i dont think, i need to record tomorrow and i have to fix this issue 🫤

I uploaded a profile to my account on the original drive, and logged in via the new drive.. this didnt help. I found this python script that looks promising. I will try that first before reinsterting my old nvme to dig through registry.

also "half-working program" happened to me too after migrated to newer Logitech G software, I ended up nuke all registry and logitech application and start over and, everything in-built memory profile reads correctly now

Hey I got my first g502 lightspeed and I adore it!! But my only issue is I’m scared it’s going to double click in the future is it possible if I take good care of it?

I have G502 Hero for 7 years and still not encountered double click issue, to be honest my mouse has awful condition with lot of the dust collector from scroll wheel. I had to pick up dusts with nail scissors (not recommend doing that like me.) Just you'd have to disassemble via ifixit tutorial guide and to clean everything removed dusts.

The more dusts in the scroll wheel, it becomes weaker scrolling. It can be remove dust to improve scrolling wheel straight away. (temporary, it's cause buildup due to room environment)

any bluetooth headset sounds like ass if you use the microphone, and bluetooth is a pretty optimized standard, so lightspeed wouldn't be an exception (and lets be honest, lightspeed is probably just some rebranded variant of bluetooth or wifi)

maybe. the gen 5 a50 has that entire base station to build out a better bandwitdth situation. That said, Razer has a wireless blackshark model with very good mic quality too using a similarly sized dongle to the Pro X 2. Its difficult to predict what will end up happening, and when, but Id be shocked if a "Pro X 3" didnt have comparable mic quality to the gen 5 a50s

my bad, the build quality is better on the 2, I went thru like 3 RMAs on the gen 1 for a part breaking on the headband. Comfort is a little better too now it has swiveling earcups. Other than that, its really hard to say. Sound is subjective, but I think they both sound fine and the mic isnt really noticeably better. If you have a gen 1 that is in good shape, I dont really think its worth spending $200+ on it unless you really want to newer thing

sound didnt really improve all that much to me, maybe a little clearer and a little more responsive, but Im not really concerned about it. Im using wireless for convenience not sound quality. If you want quality, wireless should not even be a consideration

for quality, youre better off taking that $300, and getting something like a Beyer Dynamic DT990 and an ModMic USB

I have an Astro A50X. The mic quality is easily something like you would get from a studio microphone. Also the sounding is like hearing something in person. It is an awesome headset overall, would absolutely recommend!

Everyone wants to big win in the first couple of corners but it just creates chaos. You have to plan for the long run. More and more people start getting used to the Gt3 where everything is basicaly assisted so that might be a reason

imo gt3 or similar gt classes are much more fun in multiclass. adds back a little bit of required skill and smarts since the cars can tend to be a little numb. Not a ton of offerings in that vein but it seems to be gaining traction. I do like running gt3s and gt4s tho but it can be lackluster if the grid spreads too much

Yes, multiclass is super fun. Right now, I am caught up by Le Mans ultimate cause it has good enough AI to do so. Gt3 and Gt4 are my favorites for sure, easy to drive hard but still room for mistakes. I just started using hypercar and the lack of ABS just adds to the challenge

Ive been running LMUs multiplayer lately too fitting it in around my iRacing series. Its good fun but havent got much running in hypercars yet because of the way they distribute content to various ranks, but ill be in there soon. I dont really use their offline AI, I just use practice sessions to practice uncoming online sessions

Online is fun, but I got pretty tired of getting beaten in Split 1 all the time due to the lack of practise I make. Can't really get the pace together in Sebring and Bahrein... The Ai is surprisingly good even compared to other sims out there, so it can be fun to race them.

It was at the Thrustmaster Challenge where we had really good competiton and the gaps in qualy were really minimal. In Dailys, there are sometimes even 2 or more seconds gap between cars

no, there are certain sizes and shapes better for different grips and preferences. There are youtube videos that kind of serve as a guide or starting point. Super simple example would be getting an ergo-shaped mouse if you use a palm grip, or something with a higher back for claw

that leaves it open to pretty much whatever. If you already have a keyboard and headset from a certain brand or line, just whatever you like the look of/price in that range

so for an all logi gaming setup, a G305 would be more than enough (a real one tho)

a G309 would be a little newer at an extra cost but wouldnt really net you any advantage other than potential shape

in your situation the ony thing Id actually recommend is to avoid the higher end stuff. 502X, superlight etc, theres way more features packed into that than it sounds like you need and youd be paying significantly more for it. I use the Superlight 2, but I personally find value in those features

the audio from both wont play at the same time on any version of the gen 5 A50. the only "workaround" would be to get the nonX variant that uses USB for audio so your video signal is not routed thru the base station

I have the A50 - Gen 5 version and listen to Bluetooth at the same time as the primary connection. However, the primary connection swaps between console types/PC so I'm not positive if you can hear multiple at the same time on the X version.

The option is called persistent profile. It keeps any profiles from activating other than the one you select. It can be toggles per device or in ghub as a whole. Usually indicated by a little lock icon.

So, i found the solution to ''loading resources''

-disable all adblock, popup blockers, etc
-disable firewall windows
-close in the taskbar GHUB updater and all related GHUB services
-Open as admin
-Thats it.

Just because this is the first Google result for logitech g hub stuck loading resources, I'll share the fix that worked for me.

make sure all internet blocking (include ad blockers) are disabled.

It looks like the G Hub updater runs as a Windows service. If you have any kind of app-firewall on your system that denies internet by default, you have to allow it. If your fw can't determine per-service, you have to allow every Windows service internet access (svchost.exe). This is an unlikely situation for non-weirdos.

Slightly more likely problem for people - if you run a DNS based ad blocker (, AdGuard, something build into your firewal/router, etc), you need to disable that. The G Hub updater tries to check "do I have internet" by pinging an MSN ad server (rather than just trying to access the file it wants and checking if it was successful...). If that check fails, it freezes, and when the app tries to talk to the service that freezes too.

Disabling all host firewalls and all network DNS blockers for a few minutes fixed this for me. This worked across 2023.1 and 2024.9 versions of G Hub, and allows updates.

For the record Logitech, companies that require internet for basic apps to work should be banned. Not everyone has reliable or fast internet, not everyone has control over their own internet or IP blocking on it. Saying "you can't change EQ settings on your headphones because you're on a plane right now and didn't pay for wifi" is a dick move.

I think this fixes a botch with login information since a similar post has ways to do the same thing but without disabling stuff or requiring internet.. however, this is likely much easier to follow and then re-set back up to standard usage. Overall normally if G Hub can't confirm your account it will just load as a "guest" version, but obviously there are tons of issues surrounding this with G Hub.

Sounds like it fails to run which could have many reasons.. without additional information I can only assume its being blocked from trying to update drivers (something that likely needs permissions your system).
Have you tried running it with elevated privileges? such as Run As Administrator...?

Overall I hope you get a quick fix.. but some sidebar things to consider as the last bit I could guess on:

• I haven't seen much about them, but the G435 SE does not need this firmware update. If you have that model you should be all set and the firmware update is very likely to not find the headset even though it is very similar.
• If you are hearing interference I would try to connect to a cleaned out and testing USB ports for your receivers and dongles and ensure you aren't near any thing else transmitting wirelessly until you get the firmware updated. Common issues are routers and some gaming systems connected to wifi.
• There wasn't a mention of what mode you're headset is in, but hopefully you can reset and/or set up LIGHTSPEED connection and not Bluetooth for the update.

Worst case scenario, hopefully you can invoke a store return or warranty if it won't update as intended... hope you get something decent set up soon either way!

Instead it likely takes audio data via USB and converts is back into an analog audio signal.
The reason this distinction is important is because it needs to be connected to a USB host (like a computer or phone/tablet). You cannot simply adapt analog audio into a USB cable (type-c or other wise).

So to answer your question, no you cannot use an "aux to usb C" cable to send audio into your headphone's base station.

no. the difference is .1ms between 4k and 8k. if you have 10 ms of ping, your ping has 100 times more latency than the mouse does. these are impossibly small numbers beyond what a human can detect. Thats why they need machines to measure it. It casnt be felt

I presume you already let it charge a bit.. and its still not working.
Without additional details I assume that its powering on and just not recognized. It isn't usual, but it dying could have messed with the wireless receiver's connection. Luckily you can reset the pairing by following this guide:

It’s standard use is changing dpi speed but I want to use it for a keybind playing world of Warcraft but weirdly enough wow won’t allow me to use assign that button to anything. They can be assigned to any key from a keyboard inside ghub, depending on the mouse.

Great to hear that you are still using that wheel! My old Thrust wheel did the same thing once, but don't quite remember how I fixed that. It seems like a calibration issue. When you boot up your PC does it spin, or just instantly turns to the left?

Older wheels tend to do this because of overvoltage I believe, so either your adaptor is messing with you, or your wheels power just gave in. I'm not quite sure however, I'm just trying to guess

the one after, the winter event, dropped all those counties and everything went a lot smoother and as a result didnt require more effort after the fact to ensure everything happened the way it was supposed to. Letting it drag on like that would cost them more in manpower so lessening that burden is going to be a contributing factor. By having it take less time, it isnt as expensive to run and it apprently took too long to run ultimate to make it worth it

Hi everyone,
I'm using Logitech Pro X headphones and I've run into a problem I just can't seem to solve. The surround sound (DTS Headphone:X 2.0) is not working at all, even though I have Logi G HUB installed, everything appears to be set up correctly, and all drivers are up to date.

What I’ve tried so far:

Reinstalling G HUB,

Unplugging and replugging the USB sound card,

Updating Windows and all relevant drivers,

Switching between stereo and DTS in G HUB,

Restarting the PC and setting the headphones as the default device.

In G HUB I can select DTS mode, but the sound doesn’t change at all — it still sounds like regular stereo, with no spatial effect. The headphones work fine otherwise (mic, normal audio), but the surround sound mode just seems to do nothing.

Has anyone experienced this before and managed to fix it?
Any tips or suggestions would be really appreciated!
