So my mouse just keeps scrolling up for no reason. I just bought a new mouse, because my old one stopped working.

I plugged it in & went on to fix my sensitivity and when playing valo f.e its just from time to time it scrolls up

Also, is there a way for me to put like resistance on the scrolling?

At this time I believe that Blue Snowball Ice microphones do not have the Blue Software available anymore. The site and hosted downloads seem to be gone. This older version does not support Logitech G's Blue Voice software either. The Yeti Orb is the closest microphone to the Snowball that supported Logitech's built-in software.

This was done around 2023 when Logitech decided to have Logitech physical peripherals moving forward while keeping the Blue audio processing and software technologies integrated into their platform.⁷

As such there isn't a supported software from my understanding and you'll likely have to go with third party options which are usually a recommendation for such equipment anyways. I believe the most popular is Voicemeeter. I strongly recommend a YouTube guide if you go this route though.

Random thing I've seen cause this problem in the past was a few different people using operaGX. If you are. Get rid of it, fully. Then try to do everything again. Idk why it screws with ghub. But it does somehow. I've seen it multiple times from different people and it's been the fix a few times. Not always. But for multiple people it has helped to get rid of it. If you aren't using it, you are missing to delete/undo something. Even if it's as small as a change in the Registry🤷. Something is left behind that didn't get uninstalled as you tried to do so. If you don't trust me. Try formatting your drive and reinstall windows. See if it helps. Most likely will. But realistically, it shouldn't be needed. But might just be faster 🫠 🙃

I have had issues with its consistency in the past on my speakers so if you ever get in a spot where it doesnt seem like its updating, changing the effect off of sampler to something else and back usually fixes it. Hopefully its just a speaker issue but if not... now you know

You may want to double-check your USB ports and/or cables. It sounds like the camera is detecting and working just fine, but may be limited by your software and/or cables and the data it needs to render the video. Might help to know what software, but shouldn't have issues with 4K so we can focus on the connections which sound like likely culprits:

• If you're using the cable that came with the camera you should be fine, but if you're using a secondary cable or an extender (common for cameras) you may need to ensure they can support 4K data transfer.
• It's also worth double-checking your USB ports. If you're using a hub I would at least try to troubleshoot by plugging directly into your computer on the fastest USB port available.
  • Generally you can look up your motherboard and/or which port you're plugged into. I would highly recommend a USB-C port or a port that is USB 3.0 or newer. Either way, try the fastest/most advanced port to rule that component out.

Hope you get some high quality video soon either way!

Sounds like you got the drivers updated which is great. What software have you tested in? Does it show up with the highest option as 1920 x 1080 for several options? There are also a few versions of the MX Brio, soz..
For instance these:

They have a guide online on how to fix it. pretty much you just have to close the logi app(s) then open each .exe 1 by 1 in order. and then you have to do that over 10000x times untill it works.

but this bug has been around since before 2013 and its never been fixed

so legit the only way is to keep closing and reopening the app over and over. there were days no lie id sit for over 1 hour open and closng the app trying to get it to work. and it took over 1 hour a few times

everyone who has this issue should email Louis rossman about it so he can make a public video shaming logi for it

Yes its very sad that a company that makes billions is unable to take the time to figure out what is causing this. and if they have and the "fix" they tell us to do is hit an miss. shows they did not look very hard.

Id guess that one tech who got the ticket on this issue was lucky and on first try had the "fix" work so they went with it. sometimes on the first try it will fix it. but that has only happened like 2 times out of 80

Brake pedal is a little better on the g923 and it has trueforce. Problem is trueforce is not very good on those wheels and the brake really isn't worth the extra cost. Get whichever is on sale for less money. Do not pay full price. At full price you are better off looking at an entry DD wheel from moza or fanatec depending on platform. Buying those wheels used is also a great choice. There's usually a few floating around for sale.

Moza and fanatec have their own issues (mostly qc) but a DD wheel in general is going to be better if you are in that price range.

Just check to see if the packaging and quality is good then check the serial number, Im not sure I’ve ever seen fake Logitech mice but if there was it’d be the super light mice

I've always used Logitech G Hub for my Yeti X microphone and my Streamcam camera. The camera is now supported in Logi Options+ and I've been wondering, will Logitech unify the functions in a single application?

I expect that when there are reasonable overlapping uses Logitech hardware will be supported on both software suites, but I see the Logitech Options+ as catering to office style work with options and abilities that support getting into work/meetings easier and smoother.

Logitech G Hub has a ton of functionality for more advanced profiling specific to games and coding. I think it'd be neat to have a combined option where you could toggle easy/simple mode (for office or regular use) and a more advanced mode for the scripting and game profiles... but its probably easier to just have to separate suites for the demographics they are aiming for.

Just my opinion though, of course.

yea it stood out to me that the Yeti X mic and webcam mentioned were not specifically "G" branded or MX items so I can see them continuing that across segments that have cross over but I dont think we will ever see the G Pro X Superlight in Options or the MX Master series mice in GHub

You are correct that the Yeti Orb has no physical buttons that control the microphone in anyway.
As such the control needs to be done from software or with macros/hotkeys. In G Hub or in most Operating Systems you can click on the microphone directly to go from mute/unmute without changing the input volume. You could also theoretically just slide the input volume to zero.

A red light does mean the microphone is muted, but unlike older Blue branded microphones where a blinking red light meant being muted.. a blinking red like on the Yeti Orb likely means there is a communication issue so you'll likely want to check your cords and/or drivers.

Hope you get a good setup soon either way.

If everything but the receiver is working you can try repairing the device. You mention firmware updates, but nothing about repairing the device/receiver repair.

Otherwise, nothing indicates that there is a physical defect. So hopefully that step works... otherwise I recommend reaching out to support if you believe its completely bricked due to software issues as opposed to physical damage.

Ive gotten a pair thru buying hubs recently and the really nice thing about them is they have the fingertips on them that let you use a phone (or trackpad) while wearing them which none of the other gloves I have do... the problem is they are one size. you cannot pick a size for them so they either fit you or they dont. Funny story - Logitech offered me a pair when I did my large order (I got the PS base on its own with everything) but they were out of stock on them for ages so they never shipped. I ended up finding a new pair on Ebay and ordered them. 6 min after I placed the order Logitech sent shipping notice to me 😆

So now I have two pairs. They are great gloves. Fit me like a... glove...

I will say that the Sparco gloves I have are a better fit and construction, but dont work on screens.

2 days ago i downloaded apex legends, everything is cool and all but when i went into a game i went from 20ms to like 60ms and started lagging like craazy, and i would lag only when i was using the mouse, if i didn't touched the mouse and just walked with my keyboard (that has 8k hz, im using the mouse on 1k hz) it was fine, i was playing on 20/30ms but as soon as i touched the mouse my ping would go CRAZYY, anyone know how to fix this?

Most macros can't be saved to onboard and need ghub running which means they don't work on console. I think only very simple macros can be saved but I'm not sure where the line is for it being too complex.

I believe the standard macros are not accessible. There are simple modifiers/keystrokes you can assign... but I do not believe there is a built-in way to support the standard macros. The Onboard Memory Manager is the easiest way to see your options and change them without G Hub (other than setting onboard memory initially).

Sadly this may be a software/hardware versioning thing. I loosely recall setting up some macros for onboard a while ago, but I cannot repeat the same process for things like this video:

The macros are no longer loaded per-device, but are profile based. Even with profile reloading they are not kept on any mouse device I've tested. If you get something working, let us know! Seems like some things are a bit random, but I can't get basic key-presses saved during a quick sanity test.

It may help to determine more specifics about the disconnect:

• Does it occur constantly, but randomly? Like every few seconds?
• Does it reconnect again right away or sometimes stay disconnected until you plug/unplug a cord or receiver.
• Are you using a wireless version or a wired version?
• Have you tried different ports, cords, computers to see if the issue persists?
• Has G Hub been running normally, or does it occur if G Hub is down?

I may be misunderstanding your setup.
I assume that a DAC (digital-to-analogue converter) will improve your sound. The PRO X 2 LIGHTSPEED
supports wired 3.5mm jack that should work with most DACs. Is there something you believe isn't going to work with a DAC?

You mentioned Blue Voice which is audio software acquired by Logitech from the audio specialists with Blue. It is optional and not required and would also only effect your microphone.

has a lot of nice features, but most revolve around being wireless. I recall the build quality being a bit better, but for probably less than half the price you could just get another Pro X headset for the parts that are broken since you don't want to use the wireless features, no?

I wasn't sure what your "broken" part was. But I'd be hard pressed to recommend a headset twice as much if it has no features you'd want to use.

Oh man, that's pretty unique.. I'm not positive if G Hub can change only one earcup... if you have a headset that supports surround sound you can likely set the general side you want to have be louder in the surround-sound menu. Generally this only controls overall sound from my understanding and not any other advanced EQ settings as a separate consideration.

You’re always going to have a bit of quality loss from being wireless but it shouldn’t make it that bad. If you have other mics already, it’s worth testing with them to see what you like.

It may help to share your script and/or the primary logic that you believe is being slow and choppy.
Overall the LUA with G Hub has some abstraction that lowers the efficiency compared toa normal LUA script you might run, but it shouldn't necessarily be choppy by default.

I like my G Cloud more than the Steam Deck or ROG Ally X. It's so light with high quality inputs and a battery that doesn't quit. I feel like the Wi-Fi is better as well. Screen is definitely nicer than the Ally X even if it's 60hz. Looks sharper to me.

Hi guys! I have an issues with GHub on windows 11. It makes my games hard stutter (especially League). After experimenting for like 2 days i found out that if I dont have GHub Updater service running every game runs smoothly. If i try to disable the drivers then the Hub "needs assistance" and it enables them itself. I need the hub to turn off the RBG on my G733 headset because they are very eye tiring. Is there any way to disable the RGB without the Hub or is it any way to disable the GHub Updater without messing up the Hub? Anyone having the same issue?

where did you get it? thje G102 is one of the popular ones to be faked and a sign of it is that its not detected in GHub. Check device manager to see if windows recognizes it as a logitech device

Hey, i just bought the Lightspeed X2 Pro Headset and the DTS Surround from the app sounds like 💩 in games like War Thunder, Marvels Spiderman2/1, Ready Or Not, etc. I tried everything in the app and even tried to switch windows audio drivers so i could switch between Surround sound in Windows settings where i have atmos license. Do you know anything what could help or its just how the surround sounds and im better of without BlueVoice and stuff when i change the drivers so I could use Atmos which sounds MUCH BETTER

My Previous headset was HyperX Cloud III where the DTS also sounded trash but at least i could just swap between surrounds without not being to able to customize EQ and stuff in the dedicated app

try a force reset. shut off, press and hold both mouse buttons and keep holding while turning it back on. the LEDs should flash if the reset works. If it doesn't, it could be some other hardware issue like the battery gettign disconnected and you'll either need to find someone to repair it, or repair it yourself (ifixit has a guide on it)

im not really sure what you or other people expect in that price range. your only real options there are the logitech entry wheels or the thrustmaster T150 which is worse than the g29 (imo) the people saying its a bad wheel are not using a wheel in that budget

its easy to say its bad when they are using something more expensive. Compared to my G Pro DD wheel, its bad but thats not really a fair comparison

you can turn down the good ones to the level the entry level wheels use (2-3Nm) so danger really isnt a factor there, but if all you have is that amout of money, your best bet is the logitech. If you wanted to save a little you can try and find one used. If its your first time getting a wheel its always a good idea to spend as little as possible to try it and see if you like it

the current "normal" 502 is the wireless version of the older gen design. 502 hero is the wired variant and 502X is the most up to date one with new tech and a refreshed design that comes in wireless and wired

Newer versions of G Hub indicate that SetBacklightColor() may work.

This has historically been unimplemented in older versions, but some newer documentation may not have this remark anymore. So it may be worth a try!

Either way, this is likely to only work as a generalized color for an entire device and as such is very limited. If you want customized coloring you may have better luck using Profile Cycling instead.. which although not ideal could get more powerful and specific effects. Hopefully they continue to improve this in the future.

Well, yes this happened to you but this happened to me, when I opened my obs studio it was always at 3 to 4% cpu but now suddenly it is at 11 to 15% cpu. But I realized that it was my logitech streamcam with the logitech g hub software that is the problem, when I activate it it not only increases the cpu but also the ram and gpu, do you have any solution? , but when I put my camera on Discord it doesn't lower the cpu, gpu and ram, I don't know what to do

hey guys, i bought a g29 off amazon and it has arrived today, ive been struggling with setting it up for a while as the pedals in games werent working, but after downloading G HUB i realised that my pedals are permanently stuck at 100% input and even if i press down on a pedal it does not change, does anyone have a solution to this?

Well, this had not happened to me before three days ago, this happens to me, when I open the obs studio my cpu is at 15%, but also the gpu was at 30% and the ram at 50% and I was checking and it was my streamcam camera but this did not happen since with the camera activated with 1920x1080 with 60fps the cpu was at 3 to 4% but now I don't know, I removed my camera and I put it on another computer and put my collection of scenes with the plugin and it was fine at 3 to 4% and this has less power than my other PC, I tried it with my discord and put the camera on and it consumed almost no cpu, gpu and ram, I did it with the zoom and it didn't either, I deleted the software and reinstalled the camera driver to see if it solved and nothing, not that I messed with it three days ago but I can't solve it Also when I open my obs and look at the encoder it says nvidia nvec h.264 (obsolete), any help?

I wanted to share some honest feedback regarding your Discord server and contests. The server feels completely empty—people join mainly because they think they have a chance to win a mouse or keyboard. However, it seems like an artificial way to generate interest rather than a genuine community space.

Moreover, I’ve never seen any winners announced, which raises questions about transparency. If the goal is to engage people, this approach isn’t working. Instead of running these artificial contests and maintaining an inactive Discord, you might consider reallocating those resources.

A better investment would be to support those in real need—like equipping orphanages with your excellent gear. That would not only have a meaningful impact but also strengthen Logitech’s reputation in a much more authentic way.

Out of curiosity, do you have any links to such investments, especially for the donations? I've got gear that I've been giving away to guildies, friends, and such.. after selling via third-party (like Craigslist, etc..) has become more and more dangerous and not worth the time.

Ah, my bad I misread and thought it was a Logitech update.. hopefully we can get some people to help with reinstalling drivers to get G Hub to recognize it again. My recent update swapped my stuff around and I had to redo a lot of my setup. #JustWindowsThings

they used to have their own software but as Logitech started to roll them into the rest of the company, they transitioned to other software like GHub. I never had an issue with the Yeti I had, but it might have been a good idea to support the blue dedicated software, not sure how widespread the issues are tho

They have an app that works with a few of the Astro headsets, but as most of what they make is for PC gaming other than headsets, I'm not sure what a phone app would be used for?

Astro is the console brand, yea. Overwhelmingly the Logitech G brand is PC only.

there is a GHub-ish app is usually used for eq and other settings in GHub but make it accesible to consoles
