Oh, cables don't need to be color coded, that's just a recommendation.

Just adding some extra information for anyone interested, you do need a USB-C cable that supports power and data transfer for full features.
If the cable only supports power, it will charge fine, but firmware and/or profile updates won't work through the cable. USB-C cables with USB-C on both ends are generally fine, however cheap cables that don't supply specifications may not have a USB-A end that is supplying data wires... which makes them cheaper. This will result in them charging fine, but will be duds if trying to use them for updates or connecting them to a new computer, etc.

In short, if it mentions a USB-A end style cable as a "charging" cable and is not from a reputable supplier, it likely will have data issues.

There are also some space concerns, I'd recommend getting one that doesn't have a large connector on the end since the cavity on the mice can be prohibitive. I do have a cable or two that won't charge my mice since the connector material is like 0.5mm too large. 😩

you use whatever you want, but if you are having issues with Ghub, trying onboard memory manager might get you what you want

im not sure where you are, but if you search for logitech onboard memory manager in google, you should get a result for it

ghub is broken and they wont fix it. me and like 2 others in here had the same issue this week. and if you look online its been going on for years. so far what I found the best way to fresh install everything. I got a new SSD and put windows on it and its workking find. when I boot the app from my first SSD the app is broken. but it worked fine for like 7 years

you have to close the app. then go in task manage, close all ghub stuff. then you have to go into the LGhub folder and launch the .exe files (updater, agent and ghub) as admin and hope it works. More then likely youll have to do this like 80 - 100 times before it really works. or youll be lucky and it works on the first time.

somestime once you open the updater exe you need to wait a few min and if you mouse changes color from white/whatever to what you had it set on ghub its more likely it will work

Hello, I need help with my PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 mouse. It stopped working in Lightspeed mode. I was playing, and suddenly the mouse stopped functioning and started showing as inactive in the software as soon as it's connected with the dongle. when I unplug the USB cable to connect it to lightspeed mode with the dongle the mouse goes inactive and no longer works marking 0% while I charge them I have never had a problem for 1 year and now it does this do u have solution ? pls

It does sound like the battery died completely if its showing up as 0% charge when recognized with the cable. Since the cable supplies power it will work fine while wired, but once disconnected the dead battery can't supply charge and it disconnects right away. Generally battery failures early during warranty are covered. Hope you get it swapped out soon.

If you are out of warranty I would do some other checking to ensure its a dead battery, but otherwise they are potentially replaceable:

• Tear down
• Potential replacement battery (en-us link)

You may have to link your product. There may be a few TKL SE keyboards. Troubleshooting will largely differ if you are having connection issues with wireless vs. wired.

Generally wired doesn't have any dedicated battery, so the issue would fall under:

• The keyboard chips are dead
• The wire is bad
• The port you are connecting to is bad

The wire and ports are the two you can check. Its best to try on a completely different computer to see if any input is being accepted.

when you select the mouse in g hub you click on the + icon inside a rounded square and select the word "macros"
from there just create a new macro by recording keystrokes.

You can have programs startup within a Startup folder in Windows 10/11.

This folder for all users (computer wide) is usually at:

If you only wanted it on your account or an admin account you can utilize:

Keeping in mind a startup folder next find your G Hub executable. The default executables are usually at:

1. With these areas in mind, copy the executable file you want to run on startup and paste a shortcut in the startup folder of your choice.

2. Once you've copied the shortcut. Right-click on the shortcut and go to the Properties where you can find a Compatibility tab.

3. Ensure that you have Run this program as an administrator checked.

I'm not a security expert, but from my general understanding anti-cheats are looking for cheat programs that read your computer's memory for game information. Then the cheats alters the memory (warp/movement hacks are common) or provides the data to the player they aren't supposed to have. This is generally stuff that the game needs to have loaded to function, but is otherwise hidden in-game to be fair (wallhacks are a common example of this type).

Logitech G Hub doesn't do any of these actions. Some games don't care for macroing, but this isn't really an anti-cheat thing and the fact you are running a commonly known trusted program like G Hub won't trigger such concerns by default. It will be up to you to determine the game/developers intention of what they find acceptable in macroing and to build your macros around their guidelines.

In short, G Hub has no issues that I have ever seen with any real anti-cheat and is 100% safe from my limited understanding.

No unless you have the program on the PS or Xbox, macro's are not saved on the board it's saved in the program

It sounds like you need a full macro that turns on/off, which SimonK is correct on. .LUA macros will need the G Hub LUA API to function from my understanding. No way to run them appropriately from any hardware that I'm aware of.

However, if you have a more simple macro such as "left-click 100 times on middle-click" or something that can be done with keystroke/modifiers you can save those to the mouse with the Onboard Memory Manager.

Ahh, nice.. if you can do your stuff with the macros built-in. Then yes you can save them to a profile and load that profile to keep the keypresses. I misunderstood what your macro was looking for.
Just make sure you save the macro to a profile and have that profile loaded to the on-board memory in G Hub. 👍

have you checked that your volume in sound settings is set to 100%?

System > Sound > Volume mixer
You could try this and adjust the volume there too 100% and then control it via the headset and see if that works out for you.

Hello, I purchased a logitech g pro racing wheel 3 months ago. I noticed some unwanted vibrations, sounds and feeling from the base after 2 weeks. 2 months of sending emails, resending the wheel twice,receiving an offer of getting a wheel worth 300$ after buying 1000$ one. I finally got my new fresh wheel after a lot of pain yesterday. I just turned it on, drived a bit, nothing too crazy, set to half what its capable of. Today I noticed the same problem but it looks like its just about to get worse. What can I do now?

When you see the device, is this with the mouse being plugged in via the supplied cord or with just the LIGHTSPEED 2.4GHz adapter?

I would try to plug in the mouse via wire first and check for G Hub updates and mouse firmware updates before going wireless.

If the mouse is not being recognized when plugged in via the wire I would check with different ports just in case, but otherwise you'll have to reach out to support afterwards. If you don't have the original cord, ensure you have a high quality one that supports data and power. Without data (some cheap USB-C cords don't have data transfer capabilities) the mouse can't communicate and/or update.

Womp, I'm a dummy and just noticed the link where you mentioned it was wired.

Generally if other devices work on those ports the only other thing I can think of is to try and uninstall drivers via the OS, then replug the mouse in a known good port while GHub running.

If you have a backup mouse, just in case, that would be good to control the mouse until the G502x gets the updates it needs after drivers get reset.

Otherwise support is always an option.

Anyone want to explain how this happened? So I have 2 pairs of astro a50s (one for Xbox and one for PS that also has the dock connected to my PC on the back of the motherboard with the switch on the dock set to PC at that time). I was wearing the Xbox headset with them just on while I was away and my game running with the audio clearly playing and they disconnected, I figured I was just too far away. I then come back, and they still haven't connected back, but now, on the PS headset that has not been moved btw (and we're off since they can be turned on by moving them), my Xbox audio is NOW PLAYING THROUGH THE PS HEADSET SET TO THE PC FUNCTION. Mind you, these are both just normal a50s and not the new a50x models. Can anyone explain what is possibly happening?

It sounds like you have two pairs of the A50 (gen 4) headsets.
Both of these headsets have the base stations they connect to and those stations act as the receivers/communications between your system and the headset.

Although an educated guess, its quiet possible the headsets got connected incorrectly and your one headset is now linked to the wrong station and/or both stations.

Hopefully you can fix it by just doing a hard reset of both your base stations and headsets (or at least the one with the unexpected behavior).

Astro doesn't seem to have any official documentation I could find, but hopefully this article helps:

No, it's not that the connections were swapped, I can hear both xbox audio on both headsets when I wear them but have yet to try it with my pc but I will now that I'm home. And it's not that I want to solve the problem, if I can have one pair of headphones that work between all platforms that I use, then I'm fine with this. im not sure what you have scroll tilt bound to right now, but you can always try to rebind actions ion game to prevent it from happening like if the scroll tilt is actuating because of a secondary command assigned in game

You need to ensure the USB port can still send power. This is defined in your BIOS and/or OS settings. Hopefully you can check on those options so that the display turning off doesn't trigger power settings to deny power which would stop your mouse from charging.

Some troubleshooting steps to help define what may be the problem so other users can potentially help:

• Do you sound terrible on Discord when you run a test in the Voice and Video settings?
• Do you hear distortion or "terrible" output in other programs?
  • Something like this can online voice recorder website can help test your mic feedback easily.
• Do you have custom sound options in G Hub?
  • If you do, do you hear the same terrible sound in G Hub's test?
• Do you have third party programs that are routing your sound? Example: Voicemeeter or OBS

If you sound terrible everywhere with distortion, its worth checking your cords or connections. I didn't see which headset you use, but if its one with a detachable microphone or corded, I'd check those plugs/ports.

If you aren't hearing the distortion everywhere you may need to check and make sure other programs aren't high-jacking and running unnecessary processing to cause the distortion. Usually its best to disable enhancements from all sources but the one you'd prefer. or at least keep the enhancements at a minimum if spreading across multiple software suites.

If you can't hear the distortion anywhere it may be on the other users end. Sometimes Discord does have connection issues, and I'd test with other software just in case.

Always on USB (in BIOS) and USB suspension in power settings is disabled all other non logitech peripherals are working fine when my monitor turns off , only Logitech peripherals stop post the Ghub update, but I think charging on my G903 mouse still works only the RGB's turn off when my monitor turns off

Try plugging it into different USB ports to rule out any port-related issues. Restart Your Computer: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues. Restart your computer and check if the headset connects afterward.

If that doesn't work you can try the following.

1 Uninstall GHUB.

2 Open search box(windows+R) and type %Appdata%.

3 Delete the Logitech folder in AppData.

4 Open Device Manager, and uninstall the device.

5 Disconnect the device.

6 Download latest GHUB from the web.

7 Restart PC.

8 Reconnect the device.

thats usually just a game logic thing. as long as there is no issue with inputs, its fine. Not all games mirror wheel input 1 to 1

the way it dispalys will also change from wheel to wheel. Each game handles each wheel differently. Again, as long as there is no issue with the game registering your inputs, its just a visual limitation of the game and wheel combination

the angle you have set for the wheel vs what the car you drive uses can also cause issues with this. ultimately tho, there is typically more imprtant info on the screen than the wheel rotation animation

If you're having issues with all output sound, I suggest resetting your sound options in Windows 11 Sound Settings > Volume Mixer, to hopefully reset whatever has muted your system:

If that doesn't work you can usually reset the entire OS with options to keep files and installations.

Ahh, I misunderstood and thought the power was messing up which is a bigger deal.

The RGB is generally controlled a bit more by the G Hub software. Have you checked on the Settings of the pad? I don't have it, but generally once you've selected it in G Hub there should be a cog icon in the bottom left that has some lighting settings, but there may be an option where you can disable or 🔳uncheck the PC-State Lighting to effect the RGB based on your PCs state.

Alternatively if you have dim/turn off effects that match the timing of your display turning off (time-wise) that could be a culprit as well?

Hello guys should i turn on onboard memory and what does it do?

Onboard Memory for devices allows you to save most settings and/or profiles you set up in G Hub to the device locally. This means it will work despite what other options your computer is doing and usually will work when the device gets moved to other computers as well, even those without G Hub installed.

There are a few things that won't work such as auto-detecting games and swapping profiles or .LUA scripts.. but things like LIGHTSYNC, macros, and keybinds will save. 👍

Pretty nice when you move the device to other systems and/or just want more simple control if you don't like having the G Hub software installed and/or running permanently.

It should remember your DPI, the DPI tiers you set in your profile, and if you have any bindings to swap between the tiers. 👍

Should be easy to test out you can always turn the onboard memory on and off in G Hub.

If you want some more control to test you can also check out the Onboard Memory Manager for your devices which may be a bit more intuitive with everything on one screen.

• Check your fan speeds to make sure they aren't dead. A dead fan will cause overheating even on idle and will kill your laptop eventually.
• Make sure its not on a soft surface that's blocking airflow. Pretty much making the fan worthless. This could include your lap!
• Clean the laptop exhaust ports, just in case.
• Otherwise check out a cooling system for your desk/lap.
  • Something to just separate it from a flat surface will help, but active cooling options like this or this make a bigger difference if you're pushing the laptop to its limit.

Hey can anyone help? My g920 keeps flashing white light when I try to play.

USB and power both connected firmly, reseatted cable and psu cord multiple times, my power strip is on and usb cable is secure. All i can think of is I was playing a game with ffb, and randomly I reset my car and the ffb went away, where it was like no forces were acting on the wheel. Then, i took my usb out and plugged it back in to see if i could get ffb to turn back on, and it started flashing white. Pops up in g hub, and no updates are needed.

In g hub, it doesnt show im moving the wheel in the diagram. When i plug it into my pc, I hear a single usb plug in sound, then another right after. Previously, i would only hear one and the wheel would calibrate like normal

You mentioning connecting, but you generally need to update firmware via a wired cable. Are you using the cable that originally came with the mouse or a third-party one? You may need to ensure the cable supports data transfer otherwise it will only charge, not update.

You don't need to pair with a wired cable, only the USB receiver/dongle.

I am making the jump from Thrustmaster to Logitech for my sim setup. Ordered some of the G Pro stuff last night to me started.

I had a question about the Logitech G Pro RS Wheel Hub.

Does anyone know if there is a template file if you wanted to make your own rim?

I have a fair bit of experience with CAD design / PCB manufacturing so figured I would ask if there is a template before I dive in.

Generally Logitech mice will function like any generic mouse if supplied with a cable. Since it seems like that's not the case (as you can't use it) we need to fix whatever is broken to begin with. Pairing won't happen until if functions like normal to begin with.

1. If you happen to have another data cable, I would double-check that along with another port just in case.

2. When plugged in, I would ensure you can see the optical light on the bottom. It's likely to be faint, but you can turn your mouse on/off to see the difference. If the light is broken, we can check on that.

• If the light doesn't come on, but the LED power indicator does that could be a big problem, hopefully we can fix via software, but it may be hardware...

3. Otherwise check your Device Manager to see if a device such as your mouse shows up when you turn it on or off or unplug it. You can then try to locate it and update or uninstall the drivers there. Messed up drivers can brick a device, but can usually be fixed here. You're likely to find the mouse in Mice and other pointing devices or in Universal Serial Bus Controllers such as your receiver.

For me I wanted to move over to Direct Drive but Thrustmaster has no offering for the Xbox without the use of adapters.

I have a very large collection of Thrustmaster stuff but its all locked into Xbox / PC.

Its very expensive to get Fanatec stuff into Canada so when Logitech increased their G Pro Wheel line I figured it was time to take the plunge.

I could never even get that to work correctly. anytime it would load a game profile id tab out to edit the controls and it would put me back into desktop mode. and then half the time I did the edits just in ghub before I was the game it would not save or it just used deskktop mode anyway. very annoying to use

You may have to make sure you're using a cable that support data transfer, not just power. I know a lot of people end up getting new cords or extensions that don't support data transfer.

When you say it doesn't recognize it, are you not seeing it in G Hub and Device Manager?

So I have a G502 Lightspeed mouse and powerplay pad. Generally I like the leds synced. My only minor concern is that it seems that after like 5/10/15 min or so of not using the mouse, it seems to "disconnect" from G Hub for like DPI and it takes a few seconds or so for it to sync back correctly. I thought setting "On board memory" would fix the issue, but then I think the led sync is disabled. Just trying to see if there's anyway to "fix" this

If you enable onboard, select your profile, then turn it back off it should keep it so the color stays when it wakes up and be a smooth transition when ghub picks it back up

Basically what you are doing is loading a profile to the memory if it ever needs it, which it will use when it wakes from sleep then shortly after connect back to ghub

1. Uninstall the Logitech G920 driver and unplug the USB cable from your computer.
2. Uninstall Logitech Gaming Software (LGS).
3. Restart your PC.
4. Download and install the 64-bit version of LGS from the Logitech website.
5. Restart your computer again.
6. Finally, plug the wheel back in.

Find the software in the list. To uninstall the driver for the wheel go to your "Device manager"

Look through "device manager" and find your wheel (I don't remember where it shows up)

Worth mentioning that not all games support 8k and may struggle with it. Depending on your cpu you can also experience fps drops since the increased polling eats into cpu resources. And lastly...battery life takes a serious dive.

So it's not all positives with no downsides. There are things to consider.

Laslty, you need a mouse that supports 8k polling. Not all of them do.

I have this very odd problem with my logitech g pro x superlight 2.

When i choose 1000hz polling rate, i have no issues with my mouse, at 2000hz polling rate the sensor feels "heavy", at 4000hz its beginning to lag and sometimes the sensor doesnt respond, and when i choose 8000hz the mouse crashes and i cant press almost nothing and the sensor doesnt respond alot.

Maybe its a firmware issue? Can i delete the firmware and reinstall it from new?

Hi, everyone! Has anyone else had or is having problems with the G Pro X Superlight 2 mouse when switching to 8 kHz or 4 kHz, with FPS drops in Fortnite? Even when switching back to 1 kHz, the FPS drops more and crashes less. Basically, the FPS drops from 500 to 10, which causes crashes. If anyone knows the solution or a way, please share!

It seems to be a common problem. Fortnite won't support that polling rate until it gets large foundational updates. Perhaps they aren't there yet.

I can't speak to the specifics, but there was a response posted here I've thought was well written and stands up to basic scrutiny, that explains the exact issue I think most people are seeing and that I believe is accurate:

As the developer of a popular input system for Unity, I have a lot of experience in this area. What you are experiencing (frame rate drops, etc.) is entirely due to to how the game is programmed on Windows, not the mouse. This isn't because of "extremely bad software" as you state. It's because of Microsoft's API design. Microsoft exposes two functions for retrieving Raw Input events -- One event at a time and the entire event queue at once. If the game is programmed to read one event at a time, you are guaranteed to have slowdowns in the game. Until Unity 2021.2 released late last year, Unity itself used the one-at-a-time API. That means every single Unity game prior to 2021.2 is incompatible with 8K mice even if they used a 3rd party input library because Unity's input system could not be disabled. The one-at-a-time retrieval function is the most straightforward and logical way of using their API and is the method shown in Microsoft's examples, so naturally it is what everyone used. It is not because they wrote "extremely bad software." Nothing Razer can do will ever be able fix these games. How was a game developer supposed to even know 8K mice were going to be a problem when making their game, especially if they made it before 8K mice were popular or even existed? I would not blame this on the software developers, but Microsoft. This is because the Windows API function to read a single mouse event from the queue causes a mutex lock. This means, at 8K/sec, hundreds of mutex locks are happening per frame. Mutex locks are expensive and are what is killing your frame rate. Games that instead read all events from the queue at once using GetRawInputBuffer do not suffer from this problem. That's because hundreds of events can be read at a time with only a single mutex lock. This is vastly faster and does not cause slowdown. The only solution to your problems is for the game developers to change their code to use GetRawInputBuffer instead of GetRawInput. There is no other solution. In the age of 8K mice, the one-at-a-time API simply cannot be used anymore.

This mentions Unity, but Unreal likely has similar issues.

As far as I know both headsets are functionally the same with hardware (drivers, connections, microphone, physical specifications), so their "performance" should be nearly identical from a capability stand-point.

However, the A50X does have both USB-C and HDMI connections that the generation 5 does not have, as it only has UCB-C. This flexibility can likely help get higher audio quality for a wider variety of systems without additional hardware/adapters. I believe this means that if you want higher quality audio / mixing via HDMI 2.1 specifications for consoles, the A50X is better out of the box. Outside of this the A50 (generation 5) is just as good for other use cases, a bit more simple, newer manufacturing, and generally a cheaper price.

There are profiles out there that try to isolate those sound profiles sometimes on a per-game basis.

EQ is likely short for Equalizer. Generally a software that will allow you to have granular control of the audio from your system.

If you already have some equipment that you like its worth trying to get more value out of it by enhancing your audio with alternative sources if HyperX doesn't have anything in-house.

A popular free option appears to be Equalizer APO with Peace as a modern interface that is likely to be more newer-user-friendly.
Voicemeeter (specifically the Banana version at least I believe) will also have some equalizer options as well and is the most popular I've seen. However, I don't consider it easy to setup and you'll likely have to find a guide on YouTube or somewhere similar. Then specifically for the type of audio enhancements you want - like footsteps.

These two are free and there are likely quite a few others, but may be worth exploring to see if the effort to set up is worth it over going with more hardware that has better accompanying software. Something like Logitech G Hub may make it effortless to search, find, and apply presets, but technically doesn't do anything that the above programs couldn't do.. just with a bit more effort looking around for guides.

Either way, hope you get a good setup soon either way!

I believe its best to return the item in as original of a state as possible within reason. This is just a nice thing to do, but also any modifications will require the potential labor to inspect and remove them, which is just likely to cause delays. Delays on inspection, therefore your return time, and by extension others time.

• Update the device's firmware

• Launch the software, select the keyboard from the home screen then go to Settings

• If a firmware update is available, a Blue "Update" button would appear under the firmware version on the top right corner of the screen

• Check light settings on G-Hub

• Launch the software and select the keyboard from the home screen

• Go to Lightsync tab

• Under Effect, check if there is any change.

Hello, can someone help me find out if my new g pro superlight 2 mouse was resealed? Previously I bought a superlight 2 that came completely sealed with plastic, now I bought another one and it only came with 2 stickers on the top and bottom

That's the new packaging. The dex I got recently was the same way right fron logitechs website. Beyond that, it ghub detects it, it's real. Superlights aren't really faked from what I've seen tho

I'm not worried that it's fake, I'm worried that it will be resealed under warranty or something like that, it's not the dex, it's just the superlight 2

I know. It's just the way the newest ones are being packaged. Even if it's resealed, your warranty is valid based on purchase date not manufacture date.

It should also be pretty obvious if it's used once you open it. Paperwork, protective plastic on the bottom and all that extra stuff.
