Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone would shed some light on the difference between the Logitech G502 X and the G502 Hero other than the $40 price difference.

Currently in search of a new mouse, I had a Steelseries Rival 5, and recently replaced with an NZXT Lift 2 Ergo - but I'm not too big of a fan of the Ergo. $50 price range seems comfortable for me, would not mind spending $75 if the X is worht it

Awzup57 is spot on as usual. Some extra information about key types:

• Clicky: loudest - sounds great (to me at least).. but too much for work. Can have a great feel and sound too it for some people though.
• Tactile:- medium sound, a good middle ground. Still obvious when you would actuate. I assume this is most preferential for most hardcore gamers.
• Linear: - quietest - although not silent unless you press slowly, can be unsure where actuation exists, but a smoother experience I prefer.

good write up. I prefer linears for gaming but thats over the course of a little while using hall effect boards that are only linear. For typing I prefer tactile but the custom space seems more focused on linears so thats how I ended up with those boards too.

Just played with the Dex, I like it a lot. It's shape is actually very different from the Superlight 2, not just bent slightly. Feels like a very light G703 more than anything.

Differences on the G915 X is far less noticeable, even with the numeric differences claimed by Logitech. The texture of the keycaps is honestly the only thing that's obvious. But since I've been using the G913 TKL since its debut, it's probably time to buy a new one anyways.

You can fix it without soldering if you are worried about that. You open it up and open the switch itself up. You bend back a little metal thing as shown in a YouTube video you can find if you search around for "double clicking issue fix Logitech mouse". Put it back together and it should work for a while again. First time I got the issue was little over 2 years from buying it. Then I fixed it and it came back 6 months later. Then I fixed it and it came back like 5 ish months later. Then again and 4 then again and 3-4 then again 3 months. Did this for about a total of 2 years. First time it took me about 30 min due to being worried during it. 2nd time it took less than 20 min. Third time less than 10 min.
I had no previous experience with any of this. just a simply man trying to fix his mouse and access to google.

Just an option if you don't want to solder.

this is probably a better option to not soldering while also not spending any money. I think slapping a hotsawp pcb in there and some blueshell pink dots will result in a better fix long term, but those require thorwing money at the problem

Hope it works. Be careful when you take the mousefeet off in case you don't want to have to replace them. Personally I just bought an extra pair for the first time I did it and I swapped them for new since they were already quite worn out anyway. But if you want to be able to reuse the mouse feet. Make sure to be extra careful and take your time removing them.

I have taken them off and reused them at other times later on multiple times. It's very doable but if you fail, you will have to get new mouse feet

I just kept doing this until I found a mouse on sale 2 years down the line. I did this for 2 years. I had to do it 3 times in total. It will work for less and less time every time you do it

The 3.5mm PC Cable appears to be a standard audio cable. The audio and controller remote attached to it on it should work just fine for any device that supports 3.5mm audio, which the Pro X 2 does have. 👍

In regards the wireless sounding bad:

• On a physical level you'd have to try a different port and ensure you don't have a lot of other similar wireless signals jamming it nearby.

• Software wise also, ensure that when you swap to wireless you aren't using something like the "headset call/voice audio" which is usually reserved for phone calls and communications in your Windows Sound Settings and that you're using the default audio.

• If you have other audio processing like Voicemeeter, its worth checking to make sure you aren't doubling up on processing which can have bad results. In Windows Sound Settings you can check which enhancements you might be using to see if disabling or swapping them helps.

• 2.4GHz wireless connections, routers, even microwaves could mess with it. If you feel you've gotten a known good port and no signals, I'd reach out to the Logitech support and request a new dongle under warranty.

Where would I see this? From what I can tell, it's forcing a surround sound that even when disabled both through GHUB and sound settings, it still sounds whack. Everything is muffled and quiet and sounds super far away. Gunshots/footsteps are not trackable in the slightest too as well as music sounding incredibly flat. Would that be the cause of all that? Disabling audio enhancements does not fix my problem either.

When I use it wired and it's not detected through GHUB, it works flawlessly and sounds incredible.

I also only bought this purely to use wireless because I'm tired of wires breaking on headsets. So if this is fixable that would be wonderful. But so far despite trying countless things and looking through vids/youtube/EQs nothing has helped in regards to using it wireless.

The Pro X 2 may not have a separate audio channel (that is usually worse, but reserved for communications). Generally you'll want to check on Windows Sound Settings.

There was also a known issue that may still be floating around with recent versions of G Hub that messed with a few of the high-end headsets that had surround sound audio, which the Pro X 2 headset does have...

They've taken the rollback option away, but I would ensure you try updating G Hub to the latest version, if you already have or upgrading doesn't fix it, a lot of people sounded like they had success downgrading their version.

worth mentioning since you mentioned buying a new one, the newer gpx2 has optical switches which prevents this issue from happening, but its more cost obviously, but anything with optiacls will have the same effect, it goes on sale here and there now too

I'd just try fixing it. The fix can last months up to over a year the first time you do it. If it doesn't work. You didn't lose anything since your warranty is out anyways. You got nothing to lose on it if your backup plan is to buy a new one

well then i don't think i can help you but if you're considering changing the switches when u do so try to press the switch with a screw driver or something similar, because the switch button might be the cause of ur issue because it's poorly built for me i had this weird issue where my mouse would let go when im spraying then found out that its mouse button issue i fixed it by filling the cross part with silicon that fixed double clickig and letting go for me

The Onboard Memory Manager should be pulling from available profiles that are setup in G Hub.

If nothing is setup, it should have the default profiles the device will allow. Newer devices have better support for more profiles that do more things based on the software/firmware. It may be helpful to know what device you are customizing to know if it supports more than one profile?

I'd ensure you have the newest version of the Onboard Memory Manager as well just in case:

By default your device should allow you to select a profile from the default list or a customized one from G Hub and to make changes to any profile and save them:

I had to get mine out of my closet to double check. It uses 2 pin/3 pin switches. I have Kahil silent linear in mine. technically it can take 5 pins too, you just need to clip off the extra legs

or you can look up pictures of 3 pin switches online and use that as a guide. That is a standard format that they will (almost) all follow as long as it is a mechanical switch and not something else

Some of the cheap Outemu switches won’t fit a lot of boards and vice versa the outemu boards won’t take the other brands switches , narrower 3 pin vs thicker 3and5 pins for most of the industry standard , if your board is a 3 pin board you can clip the two plastic bits off the 5 pin switches with some flush cut pliers or toenail clippers etc, def check tho before you cut them off

Ive been all over lol I think the only boards I havent used are corsair and Steelseries, but ive mostly existed in the custom space for most of it. Logitechs Pro line is usually a good safe bet for me tho, dont sound bad, look decent, great battery on wireless. I know traditional gaming boards have fallen out of favor with people that are super plugged in, but they arent bad.

the issue I have with customs, and even my wootings, is that because they are modular, I just end up swapping things all the time, so a prebuilt gaming board keeps me from spending money lol

Go to Device Manager & find your headphones under Audio inputs & outputs. Select either the speakers or microphone option associated with your headset. Then go to View -> devices by connection. There should be a USB Input device listed, with HID-compliant consumer control device under it. That HID device is for the volume control. Right click to disable.

just to give some more context, if you want to look it up and double check, the "big" enter key is called an ISO layout and the "small" enter key is called an ANSI layout. they are both standards so they are both totally normal

It sounds like you found the 4K option. I assume you're referring to the MX Brio (although older models also exist).

The camera advertises as supporting 4K at 30 frames per second. Were you expecting more FPS at 4K or a 2K option?

Soz, video processing can take a bit. Is it worse than previous options? Have you tried any third party or Logitech-based programs to handle the input?

Webcams don't tend to do well in low light as well, if the processor has to make up for more darkness the grainy or noisy, which is the most common issue I've seen.

I used an older Brio. It took some effort to get the quality where I was satisfied, but not much worse than any other webcam I came across.

Hope you get a good solution soon, but if it's worse than previous options no shame in returning it. 👍

Sorry for any translation issues if they happen. If I understood your question correctly you wanted to check the compatibility of those two products.

The Blue Yeti you listed I believe uses a 5/8″-27 threading. So any stand and/or adapter that matches that should work just fine. From my experience this is very common and most stands will support this.

However, the Relota page doesn't appear to mention their threading/size for the arm or the adapter. However, I believe the adapter listed as number 7 here is what you would need. Usually worth requesting that information if you need to be sure before ordering, but otherwise looks correct.

Hello everyone. So I have a problem with my g923 on PC (w11). Ghub is detecting it, device manager is detecting it, but controller setup is not. Literally just says everything on how to test if the controller is functioning and if not, it may need to be calibrated, but the rest of it is just nothing and calibrate is not available nor can I reset to default (the button is available to click, but nothing else happens). What do I do?

I have watched a video on YouTube of a person experiencing almost the exact same problem, but although different as they were on w10 and could actually see their controller setup for the wheel and pedals. But they mentioned that before ghub, everything was fine. And after changing over to ghub is when the bug started.

But it's still weird, as I'm specifically trying to to play crew 2 and maybe motorfest if I can get this working. And I see tons of videos on YouTube of people playing with the wheel flawlessly, although I of course don't know what they had to do to get it to work but I can only assume most of them went through minimal effort to get things working.

What is the sometimes you're aiming for? Are you triggering the sometimes, is a game triggering the sometimes, is it random, is it based on information that requires a web lookup?

It'll just be unplugging the g920 pedals from the base and using a USB port for the pro pedals. Setup seems fine. I use the pro pedals and like them but have no experience with moza bases. People seem to like them tho.

not sure what you mean by which game the mouse has, but it does seem the Dex does have different clicks. I have 2 copies of GPX2 and the dex clicks are different. I cant tell you if they all will be the same, but in my experience it has lighter/different clicks. theyll should all be similar no matter where you get it

ok so I wont be able to give you settings I use since I dont use that stuff and some of my settings would interfere, but all you have to really do is. You may have to do some work on your end to ge those running again. All youll want to really do is make sure you are using 1000hz polling. There are some extra settings I use to make sure the DPI doesnt switch around but if you use game profiles that will make that not work

so youll want to keep the dongle away from any wifi routers, as much as you can. What youll want to do to maximise signal is plug the charging cable into your pc, and then plug the little block thing that came with it into that. Then youll plug your dongle into that block. that will let you put the dongle closer to your mouse and avoid any interference. mine usually lives about 6 inches from the edge of my mousepad. if you get inference, you can try moving it closer. That wireless signal is 2.4ghz radio type signal, not bluetooth tho. there is no bluetooth on that mouse, you wouldnt want that for gaming anyway since it has a bunch of latency

Brio 4k stream random disconnects, only on Windows
I use my Brio on both my Mac and my Windows PC. On my Mac I have no issues. On Windows, sort of randomly (maybe every 20 minutes or so) it "disconnects" (Windows stops recognizing the cam) for maybe 5 seconds and then comes back. I notice this while on Skype, but even when not using the cam - in some games I can see the game stutter for a moment when that happens. If I unplug the camera the problem goes away. It wasn't until I randomly had Discord's settings page open while playing that I noticed that when the game stuttered, Discord briefly showed me that there was no camera, only to have it come back a few seconds later. I had no issues with my previous Logitech C922, same setup. Any ideas on how to fix, or at least debug this

the receiver is the dongle. that extra brick is just a range extender to adapt the cable it came with to move it closer. if you arent getting any signal issues its fine

there is no extra big dongle needed for higher polling on the gpx2.

with the higher polling, having the receiver further away may have issues, but keep an eye on it. if you dont experience issues, its fine

My superpowerful microwave used to shut down all Bluetooth and 2.4GHz connections unless you were behind a door.

If your running a particular router, some kind of software farm or similar setup, I'd check on that. Hopefully you don't have a neighbor doing something questionable...

Sadly I don't know enough about how to check on your signals... but maybe there is something similar to a wifi-device detector that could help otherwise.

So in theory this should be doable, however, I can't speculate how the operating system would see such devices. That's going to depend on how Logitech sets up their drivers for the devices. I, personally, would believe you'd have two entries with different meta-data (e.g., part number, etc..), but can't personally confirm.

the only actual qulaity issues Ive had are some of the mice ive had not being built very well like creaking in the body of a death adder v3 pro. But most of my issues with them have been software related

viper v2 pro, and viper v3 pros ive had were all fine, keyboards have all been fine... headsets are made a little weird and seem like they arent designed to last a while, but not something ive seen widespread issues about. with companies that sell as many products per year as logitech and razer do, there are bound to be complaints that pop up.

a lot of that is towards the pgx 2 these days because they dont like that it cost $160 and only made a few small but imprtant changes. Its a bit unwarranted since most said they only wanted to see those exact small changes but were disappointed when more wasnt done.

there has been a surge of very cheap wireless mice hit the market lately with specs of the high end models so there has been push back on the flagship stuff from logi and razer. All those cheap wireless mice all seem to have a big gamble with them whether you will get a good one or not, and very little in the way of support to fix those issues if they happen

some people swear by them, and thats fine. Personally, I dont feel comfortable recommending those mice to people

no problem. I have a LOT mice sitting around, a bunch of keyboards and headphones too, I try to stay plugged into the peripheral market as a whole so I tend to see a lot of what is out there and what is going on.

the thing with the gpx is it is just the safe option, if you dont know what grip/shape you are most comfortable with, the gpx is a safe bet that'll likely serve well, but if you know those things there are definitely better options

not really. those are well outside my knowledge base. for better or worse, I dont know much about budget keyboards. The k1 looks like its a menbrane full size board so itll be an upgrade in the sense of having mechanical switches and a smaller layout. performance wise, you probably wont see any difference

generally speaking, any fabric mousepad is good. i use an anpollo mousepad, which is pretty much just a generic giant mousepad, and it has very little drag, at least in comparison to the corsair mousepads ive used. i havent tried any logitech mouse mats so i cant attest to the quality of those

if you can tolerate something a little bigger, LGG saturn Pro is what I currently use and they offer a desk mat size

Mx brio 4k auto disconnect
I use my Mx Brio on my Windows PC. sort of randomly (maybe every 20 minutes or so) it "disconnects" (Windows stops recognizing the cam) for maybe 5 seconds and then comes back. I notice this while on OBS or Tictok Studio, but even when not using the cam - in some games I can see the game stutter for a moment when that happens. If I unplug the camera the problem goes away.

I feel very uncomfortable. Any ideas on how to fix, or at least debug this?

hello, I am having little trouble with my logitech g305 so i bought it half a year a go from my friend who had like for month, mouse is working properly but left button for example when I am holding a scope in a game sometimes just unscopes and after few seconds scopes again and again unscopes, it is getting more often day after day. I only recommend 3.0 because the original cable is also 3.0. I recommend you get one from a reputable brand like monoprice, anker, or cablematters. Cheap cables can have connectivity issues that could brick your mouse.
