Sorry for the issue. Unfortunately I'd need a bit more information to help troubleshoot.

I'm not clear at which step your getting issues, or if you even have the right dongle. Hopefully it matches the one you had previously and you got the dongle through support where they can look up your product purchase as opposed to a third-party.

Let us know if you have any addtional information to help troubleshoot, but I hope you get it resolved soon either way!

I can confirm that it is a g733 dongle that i recived from support. I am able to insert the pin and get the dongle to start flashing quicker but with the headset holding down the mute button does not do anything. I found that holding down mute + power gets it to make 3 beeping noises then start to flash green on the led but have not been able to get it to connect.

seeing in the pictures of people with 8k on the superlight 2 the new max dpi is 44000 up from 32000 obv not useful but logitech flex

That's the benefit of them doing most of that work in house. Everyone else buys that stuff from pixart so they are held back by what they are able to do.

New firmware also seems to have made 4k polling more consistent. It's able to hit that polling without needing aggressive movements now. 8k seems to function as well as anything else I've used but 19 hour battery life is a pass.

Yo i just did the firmware update and my superlight 2 is having trouble with micro movements, asked a friend of mine and it happend to him aswell.

Also this was before the update, but if you turn your mouse around and put your thumb over it, the mouse goes haywire.

Maybe is there any channel that addresses this issue?

That's an issue that's going to need to be run thru support. That's an encoder issue.

Best advice is to reach back out. There are aftermarket pcbs out there but that will throw any warranty you have away.

I think the battery is only held in with double sided tape but its been a while since ive taken one out of a superlight. You wouldnt really be able to check for dust in the encoder without destroying it because of thow tey are designed. blasting it with some sort of compressed air may help get anything out of it tho and that can be donew without taking it apart, but no guarantees itll do anything

Superlight1 can't go above 1000hz. Superlight 2 now has up to 8000hz but also has optical main switches and type c charging.

Opticals are less prone to double clicking failures but I guess are also faster actuating as well, and Yea type c just means a USB c port on the mouse instead of micro usb

It is just the current standard and a much stronger connector than older ones. It can also be used either right side up or upside down so using it is generally more convenient. Phones and other stuff use it to fast charge but I don't think that's really applicable to most mice

if you are playing at 1080p, you are probably already cpu limited in some places so a polling rate that high is going to cause issues... but it may just be whatever you are playing doesnt support it. lots of games havent even figured out 4k yet, let alone 8

true, but 2k is pretty mush the sweet spot of battery life, noticeable difference, and diminishing returns. an argument can be made for 4k nowadays that support has gotten better but I think 8k is all just marketing right now just like sensors claiming they can do 32000dpi, so either 2k or 4k, whichever battery life you can live with

I would only ever advise people not buy a mouse just because it has 8k, way more important factors than that... but if your game has spotty support, its kind of a non-starter

I'm not sure that the PRO X TKL has G-keys?
I don't see anything that specifies G-keys in the manual either.

Some of the other keyboards, I believe, used to use the F1-F4 keys as acceptable inputs in place of the G1-G4 keys. Perhaps those have some response?
Otherwise, you may need to share your script (or a snippet) and what your output is? Can test if so.

Yeh you are correct, the TKL has keys f1 - f12 as g keys. on the event of a key press it can only be a g key.. Terrrribbbleeeeee software. The new pro x 60 looks like all keys can be assigned as a g key

The listening events for only G-keys is a known but huge bummer.

AutoHotkey is generally recommended alternative to check out. Hope you get a setup that works out well soon either way!

I haven't tested it, but you may be able to get the G-Hub Lua scripts to require, dofile(), or run a generic Lua script/logic which won't be limited by the G-Hub library, but even if that did work it'd still be a pain to manage instead of having proper exposure to basic functionality.

hello there i have just got the logitech saitek pro rudder pedals and i have them working in MSFS2020 (microsoft flight simulator2020) However in xplane its a different story. i can use the pedals fine in airliners/priv jets, but not helicopters in one ofn my helicopters the brakes arent working completely and there only releasing the park brake in the other helicopter the left toe brake it controlling both toe brakes yaw works fine on all aircraft/heli apart from the brakes (only in xplane the brakes arent working and the axis has been checked and reset multiple times still nothing any idea what this could be)

I'm not sure what you mean by "the application". In the box the G413 TKL SE Mechanical Gaming Keyboard comes with just the keyboard and documentation. There is no CD or media to store additional software or applications. If you have no internet you may need to grab the G Hub software elsewhere.

If you are wondering about G Hub capabilities specific to the keyboard you generally won't need it as the mentioned keyboard doesn't have anything in particular it can offer specifically to the best of my knowledge and documentation:
G413 is connected to the computer, but does not appear in G HUB:

the g915 is micro usb becasue that was still the standard connector logitech was using in 2020 when it released and it hos not been updated yet. To my knowledge, only the headsets come with color matched dongles, but not all of them, so its just not something that has been done, cant say why tho. I think razer has adopted that mentality of color matching cables and dongles but I think that is relativly new too

it looks like the 915 wired uses the new revised switches and a standard layout (compared to the non-standard bottom row of the 815) its supposed to make replacing keycaps easier but their low profile design makes that difficulty no matter what. not a lot of info on the page tho

no, if you look at the 915 wired, the left control is not as wide as on the 815. the 815 uses a non-standard bottom row. the 915 uses a key size layout used by almost every keyboard anymore

Oh i see it now, also looks like they swapped out the mode switch keys at the top for more G keys, the enters have been swapped for return arrows, and the shift functions on all the keys are now lit up

The mic works perfectly fine but the speakers dont seem to be connecting, my computer says my input device is my headset, my sound settings says its using my speakers in my headset but its just not, its using my monitor speakers when all my sources say its using my headset

Yes i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers, restarting, unplugging and plugging back in and nothing seems to be working, it was literally working last night at 1 o clock, so less then 12 hours the speakers just decided to go on a vacation, i didnt do anything differently than what i normally do too

From my limited understanding, especially with some information other Logitech G server users have added in the past:

Pros:

• You have some of the highest possible accuracy for where your mouse should be mathematically when gaming. This can make a difference in high-end e-sports where a fraction of a second and a pixel or two can make the difference.

Cons:

• This will decrease the battery life significantly.
• This can use some more CPU usage. Although mouse information isn't exceptionally large. Sending this data over 6-7.5 thousand times more per second can have effects. Low-end systems will suffer. High end systems could still see a non-zero usage in CPU.
  • Generally it stands to reason that if you have a low or medium speed system you are better off using 500 or 1,000 polling/reporting rates and getting the CPU to be more consistent. No sense having a more "accurate" mouse if you CPU flubs it up anyways... 😛

Some games that are not optimized to work with considerations for polling/reporting rates may suffer extremely with this unexpected bump up. I can't speak to which or how this would effect things on a game-by-game basis. If you notice some lag, I would recommend turning it down as a test.

hybrid mode for the switches will sometimes use the mechanical parts of the click switches to actuate to save battery. optical only, as it suggests, only uses the optical portion and has less latency. the tradeoff is battery for a bit of latency. I leave mine on optical only

That's really the entire market with lots of buttons that I know of, you either go 502 or 502 clone or something crazy like that.

If you are going 502, I'd suggesting bumping up to the 502x since it has optical mouse switches but it comes at a higher price

Go to task manager, search “logitech” then right click on any of the logitechG ones and quit them. Try redownloading the newest version then.

Headset microphones are usually fairly poor.
I haven't seen a decent headset microphone on any brand.

One nice piece for newer Logitech headsets is support for BlueVoice. Audio processing makes a large difference on anything and having a built in option that is nesrly as advanced as something like Voicemeeter is huge. Unlike Voicemeeter, you can effortless apply presets, easily find profiles people upload, or customize your own with some tutorials to see what works best for you.

If your a more advanced user you can likely check out Voicemeeter with any microphone luckily, however I have personally found BlueVoice to be more stable and user friendly, so I had to drop Voicemeeter.

there is usually a serial number on the box, but if they put a fake mouse in a real box, thats not really going to help. Only method Ive seen people disciss is to plug it in and see if software detects it.

yea dont feed the trolls lol I messed with a 923 before getting the pro wheel and the 923 is good. they made the brake pedal better compared to the g29. The trueforce this is a little iffy on those wheels but if you tune it right, it can be a neat add on. What are you planning on playing with it?

id say that extra cost is worth it over the last gen. They made enough improvements to it to justify it (imo anyway) My personal favorites are dirt rally 2.0 and EA WRC so those may be worth checking out, way different than track racing tho

ok so GHub is not working because when I launch it "Qt5Core.dll" can't be found apparently, even though its literally in the files (I checked). I reinstalled like 5 times, with the steps of deleted the LGHUB folders everytime, and nothing works. It installs and then doesnt laucnh with the same error every time.

I reinstalled the previous version.. it works, no idea why

A few other small details about the 915X is that it has a better battery, a slot for the USB receiver (making it more portable), and has better built in ability to store profiles and settings to o include more customizable keys.

If you get a good deal on a prior model, still good.. although the micro-USB charging is rough.. otherwise the newer model made slight improvements to just about everything from hardware to software.

I forgot that they have been adding software featuires to newer stuff as well. Their key control feature probably being the most notable. Its just board wide remapping, and its been a missing feature for a while so good to see it getting rolled out across new stuff

yeah i was trying to catch up for the gauntlet but after seeing the top runs it doesn't look possible to even catch up. it just seems like the game is slowed down for them and sped up after the run is finished. considering the anti cheat is nonexistent i'm suprised the rewards were not randomized
