just bought a xbox g923 works perfectly but doesnt detect as a controller in steam, works in asseto corsa and dirt rally 2 but theres a few other games id like to try but it wont work im guessing because steam doesnt detect it. may sound silly but id like to try it in ride 4 (motorcycle game)

poking around a bit online, this seems normal. In a forum in steam I found a valve dev saying that wheels arent detected in steam because they can have lots of unintended inputs if given the same permissions as normal controllers. As long as the game supports it and recognizes it, you are fine. As for Ride 4... you should check the games compatibility list for wheels (if they have one) to see if it will work. If it doest support wheels, forcing it thru steam likely wont solve the problem since steam isnt going to know what to do with a lot of the extra functions a wheel has

if you still have a warranty, get a hold of the #🗣support team to get it taken care of. If not, only way I know of is to open the mouse up and replace the wheel encoder thats soldered to the board in the mouse

I gotta vent somewhere, but how dare Forza Motorsport call their game a sim it’s absolutely disgusting and false advertisement.I was exited for months before the game came out hearing about how they made the physics “more realistic” and “the most Detailed than any other sim ”.Just for this hot steamy dumpster pile of a game with racing physics that don’t even allow you to properly trail brake.
Like trail braking is one of the #1 fundamentals in racing,and they couldn’t even get that right

This is has absolutely everything to do with the Logitech challenge . Maybe I’m just a sore loser, but if I’m losing I would at least like for the “simulators” physics to make since and some what compare to real life,but it’s not even close

• Does it crackle when no sound is being made, or only when you talk?
• Does the crackle get worse with louder talking/noise?
• Do you have multiple programs for audio manipulation?

Generally, if you are getting crackling sounds without noise I would guess it is your cord or the ports its plugged into. Try to see if you can secure the USB on both ends and/or try a new port. If you're using the default cable it came with you can try another high-end cable with power and data to try to narrow down if it's a port or cord issue.

If it's something else, more knowledge such as settings and programs may be needed to help troubleshoot.

I found this video to be really good a long time ago. I believe he uses a program called Voicemeeter, that I always had issues with, but may be a start if you've confirmed your hardware is fine.

A long time ago comments had some solutions for audio cutoff and crackling specifically that might be related to input options to hopefully get you one step closer to some high-quality audio.

It is less likely to be hardware if that's the case.. although still worth checking if you're able.

Otherwise you can hopefully find your microphone settings (usually under additional settings) in Windows and attempt to play with the bit depth for popping or cracking.

I cant say for certain, but those switches may be soldered directly to the PCB so keep that in mind when trying to replace it

if they are soldered, youll need to take the entire board apart to get access to the solder points

However! Check to see if its just the plastic up top? If that's just damaged you can likely replace that instead of the whole housing.
I do not have this keyboard, but hopefully you can investigate the "authentic battle damage" and replace without the need for soldering the house housing unit.

no they dont. Honestly, there really isnt anything logitech can offer above anything else on the market other than branding. Razer has tried this and all they manged to do is sell monitors for double the price what the specs deem they are worth

I can see a partnership thing happening like what they do with herman miller, but coming out with a monitor that only offers branding as a selling point is a bit dumb imo

That combination of ctrl+shift+s is very likely a command for a lot of applications. You are very likely simply running a save command (ctrl+s) with that combination and as such may not type out the letter s.

Now recently I found on the web that I could open profiles and disable the entire category for each and every game, but it seems that if I then start to play a new game then I have to disable the profile for that game as well. 🥱😑

ok. first screenshot. middle of the screen. There is a drop down for persistnat profile.. Click it and pick the profile you want to stay active all the time and it should do what you are looking for. Also, on the left of that same screen grab, uncheck the box where it says "allow games and applications to control lighting". First thing I said should keep lighting the same regardless of game, second thing will prevent games from changing colors of rgb

SteelSeries is a fairly decent brand from what I can tell. Seems they may have some improvements to make a few users mention issues with software and hardware. Not bad, but maybe not the best value.

I prefer the software and range of options from Logitech... but on a comparison to just a single keyboard they should both work great for gaming!

when I bought this PC along with G733 my sidetone was loud and nice. after formatting the PC 100% sidetone is low..

You may need to check your headphone settings in G Hub. There is a dedicated option for sidetone. I would imagine the G733 would support this, although I have a different Logitech G headset.

Have you changed how your microphone picks up sound by chance? If you've lowered gain or other various effects I assume that might effect the side tone.

If nothing has changed physically or hardware wise I'd check on the bit depth as a last resort in Windows Sound Settings (usually found in more sound settings...). Drivers may have changed these settings? Not an audio engineer otherwise, soz. Hope you get a good solution soon if someone more knowledgeable can chime in!

I'm not familiar with any mod support on G Hub, but if you have other audio software you may need to disable it temporarily to troubleshoot. For instance Voicemeeter is very popular, but mixing softwares fighting against your audio can be tricky. You can also just shut down G Hub or other software to see if the sidetone volumes return without anything.

Having multiple audio softwares could be problematic for troubleshooting issues. I recommend sticking to whichever you like best and working with that.

I, for instance, really liked Voicemeeter, but it just crashed too often and would take forever to reset, so I stick with G Hub for now.

when you set a persistant profile, it will prevent ghub from switching profiles and only keep one. Whatever DPI you want set full time, you need to set that in the persistant profile. Using multiple game profiles and persistant profile are worked against each other

I suggest trying a couple of things in that case:

1. Restore your profiles to default settings.
2. Turn on onboard memory settings.
3. Ensure that you cycle through the dpi settings on your mouse (selecting that as your main dpi number)
4. Finally make sure that all of your game profiles and window profiles align.
5. Remove the other dpi settings if it doesn't work (optional)
6. Last resort delete the software and reinstall it and try again.

In this case you likely want to copy files like the settings.db and other similar files if you reinstall.
Normally uninstalling will ask if you want to remove all settings and that folder will get deleted and will be untouched to resume normal operations upon reinstalling... but backing them up isn't a bad idea just in case.

If you have something with a poron base like an artisan or LGG pro, you can actuyally use lysol spray to clean it if its not too dirty

They would send designs with tolerances to both places and they are expected to meet tolerances when inspected in order to be approved and paid for. Thats is in a perfect world tho... I dont know if they even disclose which products come from which location to even be able to try and track down if there is a difference

if it is a blue yeti, and not the new yeti GX, there should be a 3.5mm jack on the bottom side of it. Take the audio plug that plugs into teh USB sound card that came with the headset and plug it into that port on the mic. In windows, set the output device to the yeti mic and you should now get your pc audio in the headset as well as sidetone monitoring

The main difference appears to be 40mm drivers versus 50mm drivers and surround sound.
I would imagine most gamers prefer surround sound and better base of larger drivers for the Pro headset.

Pro x 1 had a bit of a design flaw but the 2 is way better. Only wireless headsets that I would say are better are the audeze Maxwell and a50x but those are at least $100 more, my main is the x2 tho since I find it more comfortable than those other 2

razer is not the top to beat... there are plenty of other mice that do what razer does and have a lower weight and better build quality for less money sometimes. Top razer is $160 USD (technically $230 but they never have stock), superlight v1 can be had for under 100 and is still a very solid mouse. 502 is just if you want buttons and dont care or want a heavy weight

Anything above 2k polling is really pushing the limits on just beng a marketing gimmick. The difference is so small between 2k to 4k that if your server ping fluctuates 1 ms, that is a bigger difference than the difference in those 2 polling rates. 1k polling didnt magically become bad once higher ones were introduced tho

Hello. I just bought the Logitech G Pro Wheel & Pedals for PS5. I bought the racing adapter and shifter, but even after updating the firmware, I can’t get the wheel to detect the adapter. It appears just fine on my laptop in G Hub and both wheel and racing adapter are up to date.

Do I have to do anything extra or on my wheel to get the shifter and pedals to be detected? Also, can I connect my Pro Pedals to the wheel base itself or do they have to be plugged into the racing adapter?

I just got it hooked up yesterday and mounted and tested it today. Pro Pedals and Wheel works fine by themselves. I just can’t get the racing adapter to get recognized.

I somehow got it to work. Powered off the wheel and PlayStation sleep mode and powered back on and tested and it’s detected…but good lord. People weren’t joking when they said the Logitech shifter is horrible and toy like and doesn’t shift gears properly…guess I’m going to need to get some of those mods on Etsy. Also, I can’t get it to go into neutral which is weird.

I had the Thrustmaster TH8S before this and loved that thing and it worked perfectly! This seems like the only major downside of the pro. I know that Logitech is releasing some pro accessories at the end of October or announcing them anyways at ADAC, but ooof. I may end up returning this shifter and racing adapter back to Logitech.

The wheel and pedals definitely are a HUGE upgrade over the TM T300RS GT edition, but I had read and seen videos on the shifter, but didn’t think it would be this bad in person. I may look into modding it, but then I have to shell out another $30-60 to make it what it should have been and I paid $50 for it, plus the $35 for the adapter, so already paid $85 plus tax on it, so it’s just disappointing is all.

Those desk clamps are pretty damn solid even though they’re made out of plastic. However, I’d definitely recommend a direct drive wheel. I bought a Thrustmaster T300 on Amazon, which is a belt driven wheel and ended up returning it, Logitech’s, besides the pro are all gear based. Basically order and technology is Gear < Belt < Direct Drive

So gear is the oldest and direct drive is the newest and best technology.

Depends on your space. Next Level Wheel Stand 2.0 is what I have and works pretty well with even certain direct drive wheels. That’s where I have my Logi Pro mounted.

However, if you have a decent wood desk you can mount a direct drive wheel on it, but once you get to a certain nm is where you would need a wheel stand or full rig.

I can't speak as an authoritative source from a manufacturing perspective.

However, from my limited understanding the keyboards Logitech uses have batteries with limits and safeguards in place to get the most out of your battery.

They generally aren't charged at exactly 100% even if the software says it is to avoid issues with being fully charged which is problematic. These limits also control how quickly they are charged with the right cables that will work with the keyboard to ensure it doesn't charge too quickly when it is close to being too full. Due to these limitations usual usage will keep the battery from most stressful conditions by default to avoid older issues where overcharging and undercharging could drastically effect battery performance and lifespan.

From my personal experience, I can plug in my keyboard to an external battery I have for travelling that shows me how quickly its charging various ports and can see as the battery gets closer to being full it charges slower as well as not trickling in power when it is "topped off". As such, I have reason to believe they are utilizing the limits and safeguards within regulations. Beyond that it would be best to reach out to an official source if you wanted a more definitive answer.

In short, keeping your keyboard consistently charged is likely going to be less efficient than keeping it around 50%, but the inconvenience of constantly monitoring your battery is likely not worth the small lifespan increase due to smart limitations, safeguards based on regulations and requirements that are already doing a good job keeping li-ion batteries in good shape by making it difficult for users to use them inefficiently. The best thing you can do is ensure you are using proper cables when charging.

the battery doesnt care if you are using it, it may slow the rate of charge, but slower charging is typically seen as better for the battery not worse (thats for all rechgargable batteries not just the ones logi uses)

Again, I cannot speak from a manufacturing perspective, but with the other smart "features" I would imagine newer keyboards of any reputable brand have "smart" charging circuits that are expecting this behavior and are not going to have these issues.

Other things like Electrical Cars, Power tools, and other grades of equipment will need to worry about usage and charging simultaneously a lot more. So technically you don't want to use and charge, but you can reach out to Logitech if you are concerned if they utilize the charging circuits that bypass this worry as its fairly normal to want to use a keyboard while charging without a huge safety risk.

Anyone know how to fix this issue? When i switch profiles on G Hub that have different lua scripts on them, the scripts for some reason completely disappear despite saving them. The only way to get it back is the reset the entire computer.

Then you may need to reinstall G Hub as I don't believe this is usually behavior. Profiles should have the script saved to the last one designated when it was last used. Will have to check later...

the trueforce feature makes a lot of noise, but you can disable it in most games, I dont think it really makes a difference using it. It being shaky is not really the way to describe that since FFB in a nutshell is shaking the wheel, but it can all be tuned and turned up/down to get it where you want

May depend on quite a few things. Do you like wireless, minimalistic, gamer-aesthetic (or more regular/office looking), want special gaming features?
With some of those things in mind much of the community will have a better set of recommendations.

However, in general I like the G502 series for mice if you don't mind the gamer-aesthetic. Solid all around. Either way, I have been a fan of Logitechs wide variety of options so usually you can get something good within your budget. 👍

It's not 2010 anymore. Most wireless mice have less input delay than wired do nowadays. And all modern known brands have reliable connections unless you keep a wireless router on your desk next to it, and ive never lost a dongle for any of the many wireless mice I have so not really sure you can blame the hardware on that one
