yes and no. logi boards dont have hall effect/analog switches so things like rapid trigger are impossible until lgotech releases a some analog board. The snap tap thing has existed for a while as a sort of macro so yes. Issue is, itys bannable in some games unless implemented in hardware like wooting and razer have done. Logi woul dneed to push that. That said, it will never work the exact same as what those others have done becasue of the analog switches

Logitech does have some documentation (albeit not the strongest):

• Specifications (similar to G29)
• AC Adapter: 24V 1.75A, Autoswitching

As such you should be fine getting a replacement that matches the size and power requirements, primarily the 24V. That tracks with some listings such as this Amazon one:

Hello! I had a simple question for the Logitech Custemer Support, but it seems that they're not able to answer my question. I bought the Z906 speakers for about 2-3 days and I realized that the back of the subwoofer is getting pretty hot, you can hold the hand there but you can fell the sensation of burning a bit, and I was courious if this is normal for it to be that hot. It usually gets hot after about half an hour, maybe 1 hour, and at low-moderated volume. they just kept sending me automated messages asking if a fire department was involved, all I want to know it's if this is ok and if I can continue using or if I should return them?

i just bought a Logitech mouse for the first time in 5 years and i went to rebind G-shift keys. As soon as I rebound the click action i noticed that it stopped working. Apparently when you're in G-shift mode you're not just changing that config, but G-shift also activates. Now I can't click anything while G-shift is enabled so I can't undo that. Is there a quick way to undo this?

turning the RGB off should give a similar bump in battery life to not haivng it so no real loss. So now I have Rival 5 and G502x, the latter replacing the Aerox 5 because I hate both the perforated shell and the mushy lever, which was a massive step down from Rival 5... and yeah, the mouse wheel stopped working too

There is not option within this line up for hardwired and RGB, you could keep the PLUS model permanently wired if you didn't care for wireless connectivity. Having issues with my LOGITECH G403 HERO RGB Optical Gaming Mouse narrowed the mouse issue do to "logitech lamparray service" so i removed g-hub didbt have it before and the lights were on and now without G-Hub the lights come on during boot but not when windows loads unless i go into services and restart Lamp array

the dongle alone plugged into the back of a pc is going to see interference from any blueooth, wifi or other electrical noise coming from the system. moving the dongle to by your mousepad is going to make that signal more clear. thats one of the main reasons they include that extender. Most other high end brands arent even making nomral dongles and you need to have it connected over a cable.

you are more than welcome to use it however you want, but there is no actual evidence that having it plugged in direct is beneficial. Ive had the opposite where the exact situation happened. dongle alone got interference with my motherboards wireless stuff. If you have connection issues with just the dongle, thats the first thing support is going to tell you to change

It doesnt matter what is generating electrical noise (gpus also create this), the goal is to move it away from that area that is prone to it. This is quite abnormal behavior. Windows, by default, has no virtual audio cable or pipeline to get your system sounds as in input (that I'm aware of). Are you using any software for audio mixing/routing such as Mixline or Voicemeeter?

You may need to specify what the "sound card" is. Are you referencing the USB Audio Adapter, or plugging the 3.5mm audio cable into the inputs on the back of your computer/laptop with the splitter cable?

Generally if you are plugging the splitter cable into the sound card inputs on the back of your computer you'll want to check your Sound Settings (like I linked above) and ensure there isn't any volume bar that is lower than with the USB adapter option. The sound card controls things afterwards. For instance if you have RealTek drivers, you'll have to check on the a RealTek program/options if the Sound Settings don't have anything that looks off. I can't know if you have Realtek drivers, but you'll have to check on sound card settings if you're going through the 3.5mm audio inputs from my understanding.

The Sound Settings could still dynamically change the audio and you can adjust from the there or Volume Mixer in Windows Settings.
Otherwise another option to try is that the USB adapter should be able to work with surround sound on that hardware.

Hopefully you can check G Hub to see if the surround sound has any weird options. Generally you can set the volume differently for directions and you may have these lowered significantly? Just a guess

if you want the feel of a glass one home depot is the store you are looking for. Just make sure the tile you are buying has the right texture for your mouse sensor and that it doesn't have any bumps or defects whatsoever, because those will ruin your ptfe mouse feet pretty fast. This is the cheapest alternative to glass mousepads if you want the absolute lowest friction possible

Remember, what I am telling you rn is advice for a cheap "endgame" setup, which will not hold you back in any way while sharpening your skills. Any mouse surface will do, even the .50 cents mousepad you got unless you want to go pro in games.
Answer to the second question: no, they usually don't break unless you smash them because they are made out of tempered glass. Yes, they are made of glass but with a bit of texture for the mouse sensor to be able to actually track on it.
Advice for picking your tile and mouse feets replacement:
Take your mouse with you at the home depot and test it's tracking on the tiles. Before doing this you might need a usb a to usb c adapter to connect it to your phone for testing. What you will be looking for when testing is uniform movement and no "bumps" or other things like that. Some drawing app will be a good one for the testing. The tile must be smooth, but a little texture won't hurt so long it is uniform. In case you got the paw3395 as your mouse sensor pretty much any glossy finish will do the job quite well, so long it is smooth and has no defects like very tiny bumps. I can tell you this from my experience because I have that mouse sensor too, tho I know some other sensors have a hard time tracking on glossy surfaces. If possible, a semiglossy or mat surface will be better.
Ptfe is the material used for plastic mouse feet(the things your mouse uses to glide, present on it's underside, usually in the corners of the mouse base). You want plastic and not glass, ceramic or teflon mouse feet when using a hard pad because it is always better to have your mouse feet wear out and need replacement rather than your mousepad or, in our case, your tile. For replacement mouse feet you'll be looking at packs of ice tigers on aliexpress for about 6$.
Again, using a cloth pad is perfectly fine for most individuals, so it's not a must to follow my advice.
I wanna add that only thing you'll gain from a more expensive cloth pad is precision.

the more expensive a pad is, the more easily it will return to its new condition after being cleaned and the better made it will be and thus last longer before needing replaced, generally, so its not just precision theres more that goes into it than that

addition to the ending paragraph(discord characters limit reached): Along with a more "premium" feel to it and the possibility to choose between a control pad or a fast pad, whereas going with the cheapest mousepad will give you less options and usually more on the control side(so, huge friction and stopping power). Also, if you want you could just tear down your .50$ mousepad, take the rubber base and glue it to a corduran fabric to get the same thing as a more expensive mousepad for way cheaper and worse aesthetics. I will come back with some examples of good cordura fabrics in a couple minutes.

My personal homemade choice for laptop coolers is 2 rubber erasers in the back corners of the laptop, under it's attached rubber feet :)
Just to make it clear, laptop coolers in general serve little to no purpose other than elevating the back of the laptop to allow for more air to go inside the intake holes and maybe to filter it out a bit so that less dust gets inside(this last thing only applies to the ones that do have air filters). If you really want to lower the temps even further than what the homemade option would, then add foam on the cooler you'll be buying right where the edges of the laptop would be sitting so that little to no air escapes through the sides. If you don't do this, then the efficiency of the fans present on the cooler will be close to 0.

Yo I accidentally unplugged my wired tkl and all the keys stopped working. The LEDs work and so do the other buttons. The keyboard worked on another device. I’ve tried plugging it into other ports which I know work and it hasn’t worked. It’s detected by G HUB.

Fair enough. I like that you can change setting per game on my pc. Plus have different setting and key binds for specific games. I haven’t tried other software to have a true opinion on it all

I've tried Corsair, Razer, third-party, and Logitech.. maybe a few more just not much. Everyone complains about all the crashes for all the software packages and the bugs. Constantly. Albeit, rightfully so, however Logitech G Hub is the only one that I've been able to consistently fix when it messes up without too much hassle so I've stuck with it for the past few years and have been impressed.

I think they just need:

• An easy mode for people that want basic customization and not be hung up on profiles.
• Better listening events other than G keys... but that may be a security requirement or something.

there has been a bump in browser based config tools which i really like and hope it continues to pick up speed. imo, its the best case scenario besides having all basic settings right on the mouse like zowie does

wootings entire keyboard config is browser based, same with WLMouse, and Finalmouse for the ULX. very convenient. Only downside is you need to be using Chrome for it to work because of permissions stuff needed.

no way to know for sure, if ever. realistically, its just the null bind script so its doable in theory, but because no logi board has analog switches it wont work the same way as it does on the razer and wooting boards, it will be much more basic and limited by the switch actuation points

no... if its new you can either take it back to where you got it for an exchange, or if its still covered, it can be covered under warranty. For the first youd need to go to the store you got it. for the second youd need to contact logitechs support staff on their supprt website that Ray linked

theres not really an support here so unless someone has experienced the same issue you had when using that mouse, its not certain anyone will know how to help here

There is a good chance that your software disabled it. It doesn't stop you from doing this. I even messed mine up doing that on accident once.

You can in general uninstall G Hub and remove all related files (so reinstalling doesn't reapply the bad left-click trigger) or use a secondary mouse you borrow from anywhere and update your left-click back to default values.

Hello guys, how long your Logitech G pro wireless headset holds battery while playing after recharged to full?

I have a PRO X 2 Headset that I charge once a week usually just during slow periods while I restart everything Monday morning. I think it will usually go a lot longer, but its just a routine so I wouldn't know how much longer it would last. I use it for work and gaming which means I use it on average 8 hours a day.
As such the 50 hour specification appears to be accurate. 👍

Of interest, I don't use the microphone which may help with battery life, but I couldn't speak very much to the impact on that.

I can't test at the moment with some work travel... but I would guess that while pressed is going to loop the macro during the entire time the key is pressed and will cancel a loop when it is not. Are you expecting it to cancel mid-loop if you release the key, by chance?

It happens with all manufacturing. Hopefully you have some kind of gift receipt or purchase information. Although all experiences can be different. I have had zero issues with bad products (particular battery issues) with Logitech. Hope you get a new unit or a fix soon!

I don't have any authority as as generic user, you'll have to reach out to the store and/or Logitech support to determine your viability for a warranty.

From personal experience if you can provide proof, valid purchase reciept, and patience... Logitech will honor their warranty. True for any large brand like Razer, Corsair, etc... Only compter/gaming brand I've had issues with are Intel and Acer.. 😛
