Why is the G915 TKL more expensive than the newer Pro X TKL?

For the the G915 is the (near perfect) keyboard. The only thing they are missing on that type is a USB-c charger instead of the older type.

I feel like the keys are no more wobbly than any other keyboard I've tried out of several gaming brands (e.i., Logitech, Razer, Steelseries, Corsair maybe? I can't remember the others).

The lack of USB-C (for the wireless version) is pretty obnoxious and takes an otherwise perfect keyboard down a serious notch. 😠

I personally like the thin factor and laptop like keys (but a lot more durable). However, if you didn't care for the form factor it feels like the USB-C would be a better experience for far easier charging and may have an easier time with key replacements.

Hope you get a good setup either way!

That's weird; I restarted, plugged in another keyboard, then swapped back, and it's working now. Guess it must have been a bit of difluoroethane stuck in the workings, and it evaporated away.

Wish Logi would make a wired battlecruiser keyboard; take the G512 (full size keys), expand left (like the G815) with at least one column of G-keys (maybe two), and expand upwards with both Function Key rows ([F1] - [F24])
Sure, it might not be needed for dedicated gamers, but it would be good work and still be usable for play.

And bring back the G13, but make it mechanical (and maybe with Lightsync)

How would a neo-G13 be useful? Drafting. Maybe be able to have the different snaps (snapping lines together in CAD) bound to some of the keys, others for the different views, have the joystick bound to rotating the view-cube.

Is there someone here who got the Logitech G502X white? And can tell me if the DPI button on the side can set for something else? I have the Razer basilisk now but from 2019, i need replacement but I use the side button from the basilisk for crouching/sliding to have faster movement. Im doing this for 5 years now and adjusting to keyboard crouch would take me too long, I don't like how the new Basilisk V3 has black in it so i saw this model and I like the shape.

The DPI Shift button is generally assigned as a G6 button that is programmable in the Logitech G Hub software or any other software/game that can assign to a sixth button.
You can see it labeled as number 9 in the documentation on Logitech's website.

In the G Hub software you would assign it like you would any other button. Here is an example of mine in the software, but it does show up in "View 2". You can disable it outright, set it to default (DPI Shift) or drag and drop any of your commands, keys, actions, macros, etc...

I did just test.
Fortnite doesn't recognize the G6 key inherintly so I couldn't set it directly from the in-game menu options. However, I did set it remapped to another key succesfully.
In my case I just mapped it to Ctrl key, which I think is the default crouch key. Fortnite honored the mapping and I could fully crouch, hold-crouch, and toggle-crouch with the DPI Shift button as expected. 👍

Hi all, i would love to use my Logitech Driving Force GT, but it requires me to install lgs 5.xx, which unfortunately doesnt support my G710 keyboard which requires lgs 9.xx, i have already had to stop my self from buying a Logitech mouse because new Logitech mouse requires Logitech G Hub, which is not compatible with the logitech software that my logitech G710 requires (lgs 9.xx).

I am fine using a Razor mouse instead Logitech one, even i would prefer the Logitech G Pro mouse over this, but what can i do, as Logitech G Hub doesnt mix well with another logitech software lgs. All i would love to get working now, is the Logitech Driving Force GT wheel so i can start racing with it, but its blocked by the fact that it requires older version of lgs which doesnt support my logitech keyboard, and my keyboard needs its own software that doesnt support the version of lgs that the wheel requires.

And to also maybe ask, why has logitech made it so that its own products dont work together? It has literally made me not buy their new mouse because it would not work on my pc because Logitech G Hub doesnt mix with older Logitech Gaming Software that is required for my logitech keyboard.

Hello, my G435 headest doesn't connect to my laptop's bluetooth. It does connect to my phone, other phones, and my PC pretty well, but not to my laptop, I don't have an extra slot for the dongle. Laptop connects to other Bluetooth devices. How to fix? I know how to use my headset buttons since I have them for a 1-2 years now. Can somebody help? Thanks.

Depending on your laptop, if it has Bluetooth v4. 1 it may only support 4 active connections at once. If you're connecting things like mouse, keyboard, phone, tablet, etc.. It may find but not be ablt to maintain a connection with the headset.
I believe versions newer than 4.2 support 7 or more.
Older versions may be limited to less.

Beyond that, if you're still connecting more things and have isolated the headset it may help to determine how it's not connecting. Is it not showing up when you scan? Is is showing up in scans, but not connecting? Does it appear to connect, but isn't actively doing anything (like picking up sound that still plays through speakers or other devices)?

Maybe, gotta leave some information and keep in mind a community Discord isn't dedicated support.

Generally most issues with infinite loading screens have to do with the subpar Logitech login issues. The program and/or connection to your default browser has issues verifying your account. Generally the problem resolves itself as caches expire, but otherwise checking on login browser settings usually fix it.

I need some help… currently I’m running my audio equipment for a headset and microphone but I would perfer to use my a20 gaming headset. I lost the original usb adapter for the a20 but I ordered a new one from Astro. But I can’t get the gaming headset to pair with usb transmitter/adapter. I also tried installing the newer firmware that they have out for this exact issue… but everytime it gets to 50% it resets my headset but doesn’t move from 50%. Any tips or anything? I'm given the impression there are generation 1 and generation 2 versions of this headset.
As well as versions that are pre-configured between PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Do you know what type you have?
Otherwise when do you get errors with the below instructions:
+ A20 (GEN 2) | Pairing

  • To manually pair your A20 to a USB transmitter you must first place the USB Transmitter into active pairing mode.
  • To do so press and hold the button on the transmitter for 3-5 seconds. The LED light will blink rapidly indicating that the transmitter is in “PAIRING MODE” and ready to connect to A20 Headset.
  • Place the A20 Wireless Headset into pairing mode by first making sure the headset is powered off.
  • Hold the power button down for 5 seconds, the LED on the headset should do something or other, and the headset will turn on in search mode.
  • The A20 Headset will automatically pair with the transmitter after this and the LED should turn solid white on the headset and a solid color on the transmitter.

This indicates you may need a working transmitter, so I'd get that figured out first with the above steps...

+ A20 (GEN 2) | Updating A20 Wireless Headset Firmware

  • Connect the Transmitter (Tx) to a PC or MAC by plugging it directly into a USB-A port on the PC.
  • Connect the A20 Wireless Headset to the PC using the 0.5m USB-A to USB-C cable. Be sure the amber LED charging light on the A20 Headset is on.
    Switch the Transmitter (Tx) to PC mode by pressing the button on the transmitter until the LED turns white.
  • Download and install the ASTRO Command Center.
  • Launch the ACC software. If a software update is available you will be prompted to update your A20 Wireless Headset. Click on “Update” if the prompt is visible and follow the onscreen instructions to update your firmware. If no prompt is shown then you are running the latest firmware.

Hope you get a good setup soon regardless.

From my limited understanding things like your controls set in the app (left-tap, right-tap, double/triple tapping) and EQ I believe are maintained on a per device (per ear-bud) basis. Only updates and resets should mess with those between devices. I know for a fact that controls carry over since I have those set very specifically and just tested. They work with watch, phone, and laptop. 👍

I took them specificly for the G Cloud so I did not really digged into settings yet, im doing all the control set stuff right now, (im really happy with the current/base sound rn, played 2h on starfield noticed the difference from my lowcost JBL earbuds)

1080p webcam that has a YUY2 or NV12 format
specifically the color formats, but I assume those are common options and that the webcam would have compatibility.

Of note, Xbox appears to list it as a recommended webcam specifically for its consoles though!

Ow than maybe you need to contact the Logitech G support so you can Tell them about the bug. Then they alsof can fix the problem. Otherwise they don't now that there is a bug with the shifter For the G29/G920/G923.

well logi and razer pads both get dirty super fast and fall apart so its cheaper to buy one artisan than it is to buy 4 G840s

there are other good options out there that might be a little cheaper like the Lethal gaming gear pro line and some of the endgame gear pads are good, but generally peripheral companies make cheap throw away pads

I'm a huge fan of Logitech gear, but can't recommend the mouse pads either. Only some specialized versions (like KDA versions I think) have the sewn edges which I think are critical to the life of a mouse pad. I don't believe any of the regular mouse pads have this and would recommend at the least anything else that won't wear out the endings so fast.

what wild is the star wars versions of the G840 have sewn edges but the basic one still is lacking them, both pink and black. Id grab something from the xray pad lineup if wanting a deskpad, or one of the LGG pro deskpads but they are a little big for my liking. To date, my current favorite pad is the artisan zero x-soft, followed by the LGG saturn pro X-soft. softness is preference but they are both super well made

Practically, a wireless board is only for appearance. The keyboard usually never moved so it having a cable or not isn't really a benefit to its performance. And since they cost more, people just don't spend the extra money. Price and practicality are fine reasons to not want one but latency is just an outdated mindset

I can't tell you how to spend your money. If you want it, get it. If not, don't. Personally I haven't used the g715 so I ant say much about it other than the tech it uses that is shared across the rest of the keyboard lineup is solid.

What about it? Latency doesn't exist the way people scare themselves into thinking it does. Hell wireless has lower latency than a lot of wired mice in the market now. Wireless in a mouse makes sense tho since you are moving it around all the time. No cord to drag or cause resistance.

Superlight 2 has 4k but I promise you will never notice the difference between 8k and 4k, probably not even between 2k and 4k. The difference between 8k and 4k is fractions of fractions of a second. Your internet connection has a greater impact on gameplay then that minute difference will have. If the game you want to play will even support 8k polling. It's a marking number. Also like 10 hours of battery on 8k polling.

They've been doing it for years lmao even razer. That's how razer got 4k to begin with. The dav3 originally shipped with 1k polling and you had to buy a $30 dongle and update it to get 4k

Superlight 2 has 4k without needing to buy anything else. Some of the older dav3, you may still need to get the dongle for 4k if it's a older batch. New batch dav3s come with the 4k dongle I think.

My guess is smaller pads are easier to travel with and take up less space on a LAN stage. It's preference. Nothing to put much thought into. Higher end pads don't come in big sizes tho since they usually come shipped flat.

I've heard the gigantus is fine but it's hard to find high quality pads in desk mat sizes so you just gotta go with what's available and hope it's OK. I main an artisan zero so it's hard to really compare the 2. Totally different ends of the spectrum.

Any type of consistent cleaning is good, but if its been a while I personally take cloth pads and clean them in a bathtub/sink.

  • 1.) Rinse with cold water
  • Cold water is less likely to damage other materials like the grip texture on the bottom of most pads
  • 2.) Lather with soap
  • *anything will work, but dish soap that fights your natural oils is recommended)
  • 3.) Let sit for a bit then scrub with a basic brush or loofa
  • 4.) Rinse with cold water
  • 5.) Hang until dry.

Just to double-check since you didn't mention where in the Task Manager you were looking... there are potentially three processes I see on my end. You may want to check Task Manager > Details and ensure you are killing these three processes which can exist even if Logitech G Hub doesn't show up under Processes:

  • lghub_agent.exe
  • lghub_system_tray.exe
  • lghub_updater.exe

Worst case scenario, you can likely try to uninstall in Safe Mode which should stop Logitech from running anything on startup.

Soz its still not working. Without additional details like the exact error message or behavior there are a couple of other options I mentioned:

  • Check if G HUB is in your startup apps and remove it from there so you can uninstall after a reboot.
  • Uninstall with Windows Safe Mode.
  • You can try an uninstaller that is more suited for these issues like Revo Uninstaller. I have used this (albeit a long time ago) that worked well for stubborn programs. No modern experience however. The free version I believe has a hunter mode and leftover scanner that may help out where other options aren't.

you need to buy something that actually fits the way you want. there is no way to change the way they fit over your ears. the only way to change anything is to swap pads but there isnt anything out there that will make the fit bigger

Is your problem the earlobe only? or is it uncomfortable around your whole head? If only your ear is receiving pressure and not your head, you can likely get some third-party ear pads that will have more padding so there is more room for your earlobe and/or a smaller diameter to get a tiny bit of extra space so the (presumed) bottom of your earlobe isn't against the padding

Ahh yeah, looks like the Onboard Memory Manager can't set the mouse to that mode specifically if its not already set to that mode. Bummer. =[

Not sure if re-pairing with the Onboard Memory Manager would allow to set that outside G HUB, but I can't test that now unfortunately. 😩

apples and oranges. for gaming, the 60he is miles beyond, but if you want a good typing feel the wooting struggles even heavily modded. The G715 is a traditional mechanical keyboard thats wireless. So, really 2 totally different marketing points. Do you want the best gaming board or do you want wirelss? also one is a 60% and the other is a TKL so the majority of decisions will be made over form factor alone

And do you know when Logitech is making a 1:1 wireless carrier at under 50g in the 49 or 30g for a wireless Logitech G303 Deadalous Apex that isn’t bigger to match shrouds hands cuz we all don’t have same size hand as shroud. The OG G303 deadalous apex was literal perfection fits like a glove in hand then they made the shroud edition and made it too big and Logitech keeps thinking bigger fits more widely hand users when it doesn’t smaller is what we need and even Finalmouse knows that and made a Finalmouse cheetah small. Point is the old G303 deadalous Apex is same dimensions as a Finalmouse ULX cheetah small probably why the it’s so perfect for me but I also find the diamond shape of the G303 deadalous apex to be perfect my aggressive claw grip just need a smaller identical 1:1 Logitech G303 wireless that is identical to Logitech G303 deadalous Apex and not the shroud edition G303.

The point of what I’m tryna get at if there’s anything Logitech can learn from Finalmouse is that all their mice sell out instantly within 5 minutes or so and on the last 3 drops of the ULX Tiger the large Finalmouse which is same size as the Ninja Air58 has been taking 1-2 weeks to sell out when all their other sizes the ULX cheetah small and lion medium have been sell in out within 5 minutes and the smalls are always the first to go then mediums then large. All the finalmouse sells out and immediately gets flipped for 2x on eBay. It only sells out of the fm website. Creating scarcity doesn't make the product better, it just tricks people into thinking it is becasue it's harder to get.

If the gpx2 is too big and the fm is better... Go get that? I don't know what to tell you. FM has also only had like 3 or 4 drops. And only 2 of those have had anything other than mediums.

I just don’t understand why Logitech is so scared to make a smaller GPX2 everyone has been asking for for years literally years when you can literally look at Logitechs biggest competitor Razer who made a Razer Viper Mini Signature Edition for $300 that literally sells out just as fast if not faster than Finalmouse and teaser is already on their 10th drop of the Razer Viper Mini Signature Edition that’s sells out within 5 minutes or so which comes to show people love small mice and need them so they don’t develop chronic wrist and hand and arm and finger pain from griping mice that are too big for them. But in top of that Razer is a Asian company and Asians are known to be small so that’s probably why they made a Viper Mini in the first place but still Logitech needs to get out of their comfort zone and listen to the community for once and make a mini GPX2 they are a billion dollar company they can do easily do it. All they gotta do it out the GPX2 shape design inside CAD and scale down the GPX2 shape both in length and width like Razer did with the Razer Viper Mini Signature edition. Heck they can even do what Razer did and make a $300 Logitech GPX2 and people will still get it that’s hie desperate people are for a mini GPX2 with the only company that makes egg shape on the market currently.

Razer got a ton of backlash for the SE and they have said yeild are low so when they drop, there aren't many being sold so not exactly the money printing operation it's being made out to be. The bottom line is that if logi thought there was enough money in that market, they'd target it... But it isn't so it leaves opportunity for other companies to fill the gap.

When I'm in the game Euro truck simulator 2, the pedals hold(full throttle).I opened the pedals and looked at all the cables and they didn't seem to be plugged in. close the game, uninstall g hub, restart PC, install G hub again, annd then always remember to open it BEFORE you open the game, it wont happen again as lonng as u open g hub first, sorry for the typos i have razer keyboard and it double types lol, the same bug used to happen to me and it would just load forever and ever with that logitech animation, this is annoyinng to do but it will fix it 100% garunteed

GUYS, I managed to fix the g hub.
I had the same issue everyone is having this time, not installing properly and if it installed it didn't load. Here's what I did:

  1. Ended all logi-g hub related tasks on the tasks manager
  2. Unistalled g hub by using the unistaller or the "lghub_software_manager.exe" in the LGHUB folder in program files
  3. Deleted all folders relating to logitech and g-hub in the program files folder (also from the appdata folders, but dunno if that's necessary). And this is where I had trouble, Windows wouldn't allow me to delete the LGHUB folder (program files folder), so what I did (after trying many other things) was to shit+delete the folder, and it would say what program was using the folder, turns out it was Opera GX (my main browser), so maybe keep that in mind for when you do this, and in case you still have a program that doesn't allow you to delete the folder, restart your pc and just as it starts try to delete the folder (that way there's basically no programs that may interfere)
  4. Finally, after you deleted all the folders, restart your PC and download the latest version of the ghub, or try an older one (newest one worked for me tho), then it should install properly.

Extra: if you are on Windows, maybe disable the dynamic lights in settings>personalization>dynamic lighting.

Hello, I got a Superlight 2 today together with a new mpc450 mousepad, right out of the box and after the firmware upgrade the MouseTester V1.5 plot graphs look strange. Mouse is in wireless mode (Wireless Receiver within 20 cm and no other wireless sending devices within 5 to 10 m), set to 1600 cpi and 2k Hz polling. Is this normal, because I am kinda devastated? :<

Just purchased a G923 and it’s randomly connecting/disconnecting from USB. Seems to happen when the force feedback amps up and the wheel assembly shifts and pitches a bit.

My concern is there is something loose with the usb connection to the base unit. Anyone else experience this or have a potential resolution?

Hey all, new here and wondering if I could get some advice. I recently got a G29 to play GT7, however the left flappy paddle wasn’t working properly, so I returned it for a replacement. However what has arrive looks different.

On the first one I got the buttons at the bottom said “Share” and “Options”. But on this new one which arrived today it has symbols instead of words. I’m concerned I’ve received an older model or something but can’t find any info on this in particular. Is anyone able to help or advise?

Uninstaller, then try and use an app like revo Uninstaller to make sure it's gone and reinstall. If not move your games to another hdd and reinstall windows and it should work
