That is unfortunate. You could try to troubleshoot it by charging it from a battery pack or some other source that isn't the computer. It is potentially possible that the connection is swapping from wired to wireless when plugged into the computer you're operating on and depending on your settings that could be causing a shift between profiles or similar behavior that results in the freezing.

Either way the connection is subpar and hopefully that's due to dust collected in the USB port as opposed to damaged or faulty hardware. I recommend you clean it like you might a phone charging port, which may be the issue. You can get some compressed air or something thin to scrap out dust (just be careful and gentle when scraping!). With a cleared port you are more likely to get a consistent connection that won't swap profiles/settings that is resulting in the intermittent freezing.

Hope you get a good setup either way.

The chat is fairly sparse, but otherwise some very advanced setups may have reported issues from my limited perspective.

From my end its working great with a fairly straight-forward setup. No issues on my end. The only options I haven't seen saved are the line order which makes no difference, but looks more jumbled than it would need to be if they kept their order. Talk about digital cable management. 😛

I bought the pro x 2 lightspeed, but the mic is utter ass according to others. Comments include fishbowl, eating the mic, muffled, underwater or I'm using my phone. I tried several profiles for blue voice and others still complain. I tested them in vocaroo and the app (where they sound fine) but still hear the same complaints of a bad mic.

I'm assuming you are using .lua scripts. You can normally set an event to turn the script on or off. That way is "running" but won't do anything in an off state. Then you won't have to require a restart. Just toggle its effectiveness on/off.

You can use states (e.g., numlock, shift, etc..) or G_keys fairly easily.

Here is an example of turning a script on/off where the logic you write can get integrated to where if script_active is set to false it doesn't run. You swap those states with the G1 key.

They look to be top-tier. I really wish I had a headphone stand that charges. Keeps things organized and you literally forget you even need to charge something wireless.
Only reason I haven't pulled the trigger is because the Pro X 2s are great otherwise and they have a removable microphone arm. No headset has ever had a microphone that can compete with a dedicated device. They are all in the same "subpar" class of mic period, so I prefer to just not have it at all.

Either way, hope you enjoy the amazing headphones! I haven't seen a charging stand as decent since some Turtle Beach ones like a decade ago. 😛

Does anyone know if the g502x plus suffers the same issue with it's switches that results in double clicking? Both my 602 and 604 have suffered this issue and I'm looking to replace/upgrade my 604 as I attempted to fix it and only made it worse.

I’m trying to play FH5 on the wheel but when I’m at a dead stop, and barely move the wheel, the wheel shakes violently, when the shifter works, the clutch pedal doesn’t, when the clutch pedal works, the shifter doesn’t. (In my case now, the shifter is working)

Project cars 2 all that is fixed besides the wheel shaking slowly this time when at 0 mph.

One thing learned on xbox never turn on the console with controler if u want to play with any wheel first....fire it up with the wheel so it synchs like it should sometimes controlers mess with wheels insputs ... than after u notice game runs like it should turn on the controler for audio headphones streams output etc .... hope it worked for some mine works now again like new

That's what I've found, at least - i see aftermarket ones that are WAY pricier, and i'll buy those if there's a really noticeable difference in terms of durability but what i'm reading is mixed. some say that there's a bigger design flaw causing the double click failure and even the 'best' switches will fail

I'm not sure about the subscript, I'm just seeing D2F-01F-T being used- I mentioned them more because they're the most common choice rather than out of any quality consideration.

There's also Kailh GM2.0 and Huano Blue Shell White Dot for alternatives.

You'll want to look around mousereview for more guidance I think

Its tough to tell without a more in-depth idea of what your setup is like.
Does this issue not exist if you are set to stereo/mono (which could indicate a problem with the surround-sound drivers)?
Is it just footsteps that are sounding bad?

I would double-check:

  • that your corded connection is intact. Clean out the audio holes (particularly the green one). This will have an effect regardless of the sound option if its dirty or not plugged in all the way.
  • Ensure you have Logitech G Hub installed for the surround sound drivers. You can test them in the software but can also see which drivers are being used in the Sound Options on Windows (screenshot example).
    If you have any other driver that is trying to support surround sound not from Logitech you could get weird effects and will need to check that supplier.
  • If its just footsteps sounding bad, I'd ensure you aren't running additional software that tries to "enhance" such things. Certain frequencies can be tuned to this and you can often find them for particular games and setups attempting to highlight footsteps from the equalizer presets people publish. Here are some examples just searching for "footsteps.

THe live chat support doesn't do what i need it to do and it is pretty annoying aaand after i uninstalled the g hub, the headphones work, so it's the GHUB issue

From the home page you can generally left-click on the mouse/gear you want to change settings on. From there if the mouse supports Lightsync editing, you'll find the relative tab on the left-hand side with a whole menu to set things up.

  • If you are getting a separate page with profiles to select you may have Onboard Memory on which is indicated by a blue highlight chip icon. You'll generally want to turn this off to set the Lightsync and then can save to memory later if you prefer that.
  • If you don't see this menu, I'd ensure that the mouse supports Lightsync. Some mice such as the G502X (non-plus version) do not have any RGB addressable components and won't have this menu.

It sounded like you couldn't find the options to begin with? Sounds like you found the LightSync menu now... and are changing the colors in the program, but they aren't changing physically on the hardware?

  • At just a guess, I would check that you don't have any profiles loaded that have the white color as an overwrite. For instance sometimes a game can be loaded as a profile and will dictate what the color is if its running over a Desktop or Default profile. You can find your profile setups with the top-right menu and going to Games & Applications.
  • It is also possible that the device is synced with other devices so you don't see the color changes update live due to some inconsistencies with the program. You can try to click on the button at the bottom middle of the Lightsync menu that says SYNC LIGHTING OPTIONS and try to sync/desync it and see if it starts updating live.

That's probably the extent I can think of off the top of my head.

As just a guess I would sanity check that your headphones are checked and set as the default device (for audio and/or communication) in Windows sound settings. I'm not familiar enough with MacOS if you're using that, soz.

Sometimes defaults can get overridden with "new" devices" when G Hub starts which has been a painful thing for Windows for a while. 😩

Example (I have no check box since I disable literally everything else other than my headphones. :P)
Either way, if the outputs are changing between stopping/starting G HUB you can hopefully set them back to the appropriate device in case Windows is shuffling things around.

Here is an example of my setup where I disabled other games, because I'll just change stuff up when I feel like it. but I have a "desktop application" labeled DESKTOP (the equivalent of having nothing else in the list running) I created a persistent profile for.

However, from my limited understanding, profiles can change depending on the game/application you are running where stuff is set up differently. So you could have your DESKTOP application being purple colors for instance, but if GAME A is running, it could change the profile to then be red instead of purple, but only when that game is running. Just why I thought the color changing wasn't responsive with the new mouse...

You can click on the game/application that may be running while your mouse is unresponsive to Lightsync, or to just troubleshoot temporarily disable all the other games/applications other than DESKTOP and make your changes there and set as persistent.

You can set your profile to persistent (what I assume you mean by permanent) by going to the details and ensuring its set as such on the DESKTOP "application".

If it starts working as intended and changing colors, you can try re-enabling your games until you find a culprit that will reset (or keep the white color), or just checking the details again after selecting that game as your active game/application. The active game/application will overwrite what the DESKTOP is which is the best I can assume why the old mouse was working, but not the new. Sorry, I wasn't sure exactly what mouse you were using, but if you are using the Logitech G Pro X Superlight Wireless Gaming Mouse, then I believe there are no RGB addresssable options and you will not have the Lightsync menu. The battery indicator light isn't customizable to the best of my knowledge. They generally cut out all circuitry and hardware not needed to make it as light as possible, which is its primary selling feature...

Soz, I did mention that [you'd have to double-check on your mouses lighting options](#💬general-chat message):

  • If you don't see this menu, I'd ensure that the mouse supports Lightsync. Some mice such as the G502X (non-plus version) do not have any RGB addressable components and won't have this menu.

From my understanding mice and most other peripherals generally send rudimentary information. For mice they'll send information as button clicks and positioning coordinates. Even with the highest polling rates on a mouse you will still get no where near the information transfer speed/limits of USB 3.0, 2.0, or even 1.0! 😛

As such which USB port type you plug it into has no practical benefits. Most USB versions are backwards compatible.

Generally you would want to plug your peripheral devices into the older slots to save the newer slots for things that are transferring data such as files or need better power charging.

Does the LGS Software support the g502 x plus? Because the Ghub has the worst macros i‘ve ever experienced. Even macro recorder is better.. Hello, i need you, i have issue with my g pro x on Windows11 and 10. On Ghub The microphone level bars do not move. If I make a recording, the sound is good but only comes out on the left side. Hey guys, sure it's been asked before but I've only just joined.... I have the Logitech Pro Direct Drive wheel, had it since release and was wondering if a GT or F1 style rim was being introduced at some point? I love the wheel as a whole but desperately want another rim for it that's more suitable for the cars I'm racing. Hi everyone, i hope you good. I recently bought a Headset Logitech G PRO X 2 Wireless, and i have some probleme with the microphone. When I record myself the mic sounds really good, however when I'm on discord with my friends I get lots of complaints and telling me the mic is terrible. They sent me several clips to check this, and it's true, the mic is really bad.
I tried many things, uninstalling discord, g hub, etc. But the problem persists. Does anyone encounter the same problem?

What program are you using to test the microphone?
Does it sound bad when you run a test in Discord (where it provides your feedback after a short delay)?

Without additional information...
Generally microphones in Windows will have two options for sound.

  • Audio
  • communications

Communications will usually sound terrible and is used for things like connections to phones. I would ensure you have audio as the default for your microphone and not just communications.
Example

Otherwise in the same menu you can try to disable as much of the "enhanced audio" options as possible to get a baseline to match the quality. Then slowly introduce more enhancements until you find the problem. Having combined "enhancements" from Logitech, Discord, and other third parties can cause distortion.

I would try disabled BlueVoice to see if it closer matches or sounds better in Discord, just to narrow down where the issue is coming in.

Do you get the good sound or bad sound (with BlueVoice enabled) if you tried something like:

This will help define if Discord is the issue or if its having issues with everything else outside of G Hub.
Some type of enhancement sounds like its causing issues breaking up your audio. We are just trying to find where that is and work on drivers or enhancement options to get your sound universal.

Hello, I would need some advice regarding the G Hub mobile application for my Astro 50x headphones. I downloaded the EQ for the game Helldivers 2 on PC, but it doesn't show up on the mobile app. Why? I think its still a difference since its an Astro headset, now owned by Logitech and it doesn't have a specific button like other Logitech G headsets... but it supports G Hub. hence my question

Yes, kinda right. Its now owned by logitech and AFAIK has GHub support, but it has no "G" buttons or programmable buttons, but it has some buttons... I just don't know if you could remap them with Ghub

Its not hacking ur just changing the config files if you manage to find the right one in the right place, as for me im rocking the g935 its a wirless headset (kinda huge not gonna lie) sound wise is so damn good and i considere it op sometimes cuz i litterly hear where every footstep is comming from

I'm sitting in a room where the sound is playing and there's no base or anything. I've tried playing around with the EQ settings and even the spatial sound but can't get it right. Does anyone else have this or does anyone know a setting to change this at all?

hello, so I am playing roblox currently and I am using a autoclicking macro from ghub, I create my macro, I then click "repeat while holding" then I record my keystrokes (1 click) then I add a delay of the fastest ms 1. When I join a building game, it is unusually slow compared to the other people's macros. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Why does this happen?

uninstall GHUB and do the following below.

Windows:
before you proceed please have the following enabled “Show hidden files” afterwards please go to the following file path.

  1. C:/users/(insert your username)/roaming
  2. C:/programdata

delete every folders related to ghub
Common names:
GHub
LGHub
Logitech gaming software
logi.shrd

reinstall the GHUB

For mac i am not familiar with their folder structure so you might need to contact mac support to help you with it
