hello, anyone have problems with logitech g pro super light 2 scripts? I mean outputlogmessage works, but when i try to do things like MoveMouseToVirtual (32767, 32767) its just doesnt work

what i did to fix it was just try downloading it and just let the downloader keep retrying in the background (just watch a video or something to pass time), eventually it will download and youll jst have to give it time to load all ur logitech stuff

pro x tkl is wireless. ultimatly the big choice is if you want wireless or not, but the wired Pro X keyboard has hot swap switches

Pro X TKL is still wireless, G Pro is wired, but the G pro does not hot swap like the Pro X. Pro X TKL also has a standard layout and better keycaps. The naming makes this more confusing than it needs to be but it should be able to figure out by looking at the listings on the website

Id pick the Pro X TKL (and actually do have it). the standard layout and PBT keycaps alone make it an easy pick over the G Pro

just make sure its actually the wireless one you are looking at. the naming could certainly make it easy for the store to get confused too

for logitech, I dont think so. they usually use that line (Pro / Pro X) as their high end so I dont really think they would put anything out that performs better than those.

I’ve uninstalled it, I’ve restarted my computer, I’ve hard restarted my computer (literally cutting the power off), I’ve “updated” it, I’ve waited for hours for it to “launch after update” and all this so I can reduce my polling rate to 500 so my sens doesn’t stutter in the game I’m trying to play lol

yeah that was my issue, only after i did a thorough disk search for all the files related to GHUB and deleted them, then rebooted a few times, was i able to succesfully install it back to a working state - simply reinstalling without a purge didnt fix the problem

i think i used WizTree to search for a few different keywords like GHUB on my C: drive, and then, being sure to not accidentally delete unrelated or key system files, i deleted everything pertaining to the old GHUB installation

i then manually checked a few folders like Program Files, ProgramData, and the various AppData subfolders, THEN after a reboot i tried a reinstall of the software and it finally worked

Hi; new here. I came here to ask about rudder pedal hardware mods; is this the right spot? If so, here's what I'm wondering about: I bought a couple used logitech rudder pedals. The "combat pro" with the metal "shorty" pedals, and the "pro flight rudder pedals", with the big pedals that you rest your entire foot on. The combat pro pedal hardware is in pretty bad shape, but the actual foot pedals are fine. I'd like to transfer them to the other set, because the other set works fine but I don't like resting my size 13 feet on those large "platform" pedals. So I'm looking for some help from anybody who has actually done this swap before. Again, if this is the wrong spot, somebody please direct me to the right spot. 🙂

If you want to set some mouse settings to use with on-board memory options you can use a more rudimentary option here:
Logitech Onboard Memory Manager. Hopefully easy to set the DPI / profiles and get your mouse setup without an crazy hassle. Just a basic .exe to access your Logitech mice.

Easy do a record of the key press and delete the release. It will give you a warning about no key release but should work just remember to hit the macro again to stop it I'm using the same thing for crafting in Palworld 😀

Hey guys, for some reason my g pro superlight sensitivity keeps like randomly adjusting for no reason. I could be playing league of legends and my sens feels normal then for some reason it feels like it drops to low DPI. I hav disabled enhance pointer precision + dpi shift button and also disabled other dpi sensitivities so its just 800.. any ideas for why this has happened?

dont sweat it. Razer is needed in the market. I dont use their stuff personally, but a lot of what they do make logitech do better, and logitech does the same for them. The superlight 2may not have had 2k polling if razer didnt push higher polling into the mainstream. Same as the viper v2 pro may not have been lightweight if logitech didnt normalize that with the superlight. (I know other companies do these things as well but none are as big as razer and logitech)

Hey all. Just got the Pro X Superlight 2 mouse to replace my 603. I got the Pro X because I also wanted a Wired option, which this said it does. However, when I plug the supplied cable in, it "works" as in it only functions as a default windows mouse, but G Hub shows it as "Inactive" when connected, leaving me unable to use other functions and features of the mouse. Anyone have any suggestions on how to possibly remedy this?

its not just figuring out the disconnect part... the wheel isnt wired to be taken off so youd also need to wire some sort of connector across multiple wheel bases to be able to keep functionality. A different option to that is to have the wheel have its own usb interface but its possible for that extra wire to get messed up as the wheel rotates

Check power supply and cables if you haven't already.
If it doesn't spin each direction when plugged in (self calibration) it's not getting power or data connection.

You can likely set to on-board memory using the arrow keys and enter to navigate and select things, but setting primary click won't work well.
Once your on on-board memory and/or a profile that doesn't have the deleted primary click you can check things out from there. For easier control of onboard profiles check out Onboard Memory Manager.

Easiest, however, is to borrow/use a secondary mouse to plug into your computer so you can left-click on the secondary mouse and setup your regular mouse normally.

you arent going to get anyone from logitech tell you one way or another on it here. If I were to guess based on similar feature requests Ive seen in the past, what they are likely to say is somethin along the lines of "we will send your request thru to our team to evaluate". What that likely actually means is they add it to a pile of requests. With how many people use GHub, its likely not going to get considered to be implemented unless they see hundreds, if not thousands of people asking for that feature. The reality is, its not worth implementing something for just one, or even just a few people.

• Does your work require you to use Bluetooth since the devices may have USB ports blocked?
• Is the 10% casual gaming, or do you enjoy some heavier games like FPS?
• Do you need to swap between multiple devices?
• Do you think you'll need to travel with the mouse (smaller can be better for packing)?
• Do you plan to have other devices that have additional considerations from the above, like a matching keyboard?

Initially, any gaming mouse can work great for work since they just have extra stuff and are considered more responsive, and its great to have the same feel and movement when you get into gaming instead of swapping to something that may be unfamiliar. However gaming mice usually don't get as decent of a battery life.

If you are a casual gamer and don't need the higher end gaming responsiveness the Logitech MX Master 3S is likely a great option for work and does just fine for casual gaming. Of interest the MX has a Bolt receiver and Bluetooth which can make a minimal/simplified setup really easy to connect multiple devices and easy swapping between computers without extra gear. (some select Logitech G gaming gear can have a similar effect to a unified receiver, but only select components. Not a lot of great gaming choices for Bluetooth AND Lightspeed gear.

If you are a heavier gamer, but want a good mixture of professional look and ability to keep up with more exact usage during your gaming sessions I would recommend Pro Wireless mouse (if in stock) and/or the Pro X Superlight Wireless mouse.

If you could really work with anything and don't care the G502X tends to go on sale fairly often, so if you find it at a good price or find it third market it can often be the best bang for your buck, but is a bit... gamer-oriented in its visual aesthetic.

Hope you get a good setup either way!

Hello. I purchased a Brio 500 yesterday and have been frustrated with the webcam auto-adjusting the exposure level of the light in the background. I have auto-exposure turned off. I can create profiles but I can't seem to get the mouse to switch between them properly with the profile switch button. The software is crap and makes no sense...

You can usually left-click on your mouse in the G Hub software. Then go to Assignments on the left-hand menu. Underneath System options you can search or find Profile Cycle to ideally move between your profiles. If you are using on-board profiles, you'll need that version of cycling. Once you've found the option you want, you can drag-drop it from the left menu to the button you want to use.

shape is king. youll play better on 1000hz with a shape that fits you than you would a mouse with 4k polling that doesnt fit. also, the difference to 4k is so small that your internet connection is going to be a bigger factor than the polling rate

I have a bunch of mice that support 4k, and only ever use 2k. the battery hit isnt worth it, and even then I dont notice any difference in responsivness in my gpx 1 vs gpx 2 with 2k polling. the ONLY mouse I have that its worth using 4k polling on is the Finalmouse ULX because they have some black magic firmware that makes the battery last like a week on it instead of a day and a half like everyone else and I still cant really tell a difference in latency

The mouse receiver connecting it directly to the PC works fine, the problem is that when I want to connect it to the USB receiver extension it does not recognize it

and I checked and the USB receiver extension works perfectly, pls help me

How did you check that the extension was working? Did you use another 2.4GHz connection device? To the best of my knowledge an extension cable is any standard USB extension cable, nothing special should be needed about the the cord.

Since it works fine directly to the computer the culprit seems like it would be the cord or the USB port the cord is in? Did you plug the receiver into the same USB port that the extension is getting plugged into? If not then the USB port could be acting up... If you were using another 2.4GHz receiver to test the extension I would double check to make sure that the receiver (after being plugged into the extension isn't near a router or other heavy-use wireless device. This could cause some interference. Logitech recommends a whopping 2 meters of distance from routers. 😛

This applies to all 2.4GHz style devices though.

Hope you get a fix either way so you can plug in your receiver conveniently instead of in the computer directly. If the cable is messed up support can likely replace it or you can find cheap options for generic USB extension cables as well that should do the trick.

It has been a bit since I've used a PlayStation, but I feel like they are on Bluetooth, which is likely to not have the same issues as 2.4GHz connections if adjacent to a router that's emitting on a similar frequency for the WiFi. Although I didn't realize they had USB dongles either?

Either way, its very odd that the router gives no issues with the USB device plugged in directly to the computer next to it, but then doesn't work with the cable that is (I'm assuming) getting it further away.

Regardless, did you verify the USB ports aren't messing up?

g920 is a wheel not a keyboartd. only keyboard that is hot swap is the G Pro X (non-wireless). Only wheel that is swappable is the Pro wheel but there is nothing top swap it with yet

Normally Logitech G Hub will make itself a startup app. If it goofed up you can do this yourself on Windows:

• Copy the application file or executable file you use to manually start up Logitech G Hub
• Paste a shortcut of the file you copied above to this folder:
  %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

Any shortcut in that folder will startup when you log in on your user profile only. The %APPDATA% is just a shortcut since I won't know your user information, but it should resolve to the correct folder if you copy and paste as it is. 👍

Hello! I am having an issue with my G512 carbon and was wondering if anyone could clear this up for me?
The P key's red LED color doesn't work but I'm pretty sure it was working this morning when I first booted up my pc. The CAPS lock LED also doesn't turn off but instead goes slightly more dim when it's not active.

I looked to see if there was a firmware update but there wasn't.
I tried uninstalling my HID compliant keyboards from device manager and restarted my pc and that didn't do anything.

It's a sensor capability thing. The original hero sensor wasnt designed for higher polling so it's unlikely. Also they have the newer generation of speight already out so new features added to the old one also seems unlikely.

i see lua scripts were fixed - is anyone else facing issue where lua script doesnt actually play unless i press a seperate key on my mouse right after initiating the held keybind that should in the first place, begin playing the script? (it should be pulling as soon as i hold mouse 1, though it only initiates if i instantly hold mouse 2 after initiating mouse 1, without secondary input the lua script fails to function)

On the one hand, no need for a higher end GPU if you don't have a monitor that can make use of it unless you use it for other work.

Question: I'm currently having issues with my GPro Wireless I have tried everything to fix it. I went afk for around 10 minutes and when I came back my mouse was off ever since it has not worked at all. One thing I noticed was when I plugged in the wireless USB it's noticed on Logitech software as "inactive" but when i plug it in to be wired it is not registered at all.

• The battery could have died (not likely I've only had the mouse for a few months)

id love to know the metrics behind macro use on their mice. like it cant be a thing thats used by a majority of their mouse customers. If it was, id imagine it would be more fleshed out. My bet would be thats its just there as a marketing beat to have feature parody on the box to compare to the rest of the market. The transition macro works smoothly even on the bloody crappy mouse, which is heavy as. It also has the best software. Also Corsair is working properly. I only saw that it doesn't work on razer and logitech.

I really like logitech g pro x superlight 2. But the game I play uses 90% macros and the Logitech G Hub did not satisfy me at all. I created a return request for the product. They will come to pick it up today. I bought my first and last logitech mouse product.

thats fair and you shouldnt be expected to use and keep something that isnt workjng for you. Id argue that the superlight is more targeted at competitive fps games/esports stuff where macros are typically not used and sometimes not allowed at higher levels of play. I dont think you never buying another mouse from them is really going to move the needle tho

but I also agree that if its a feature being advertised, it should work at a simple base level, but I have no experience to say whether or not it does that and where youre usecase falls on that scale

My Logitech G413 Carbon keyboard has this issue now where I hold the 'W' key and while I hold it, it randomly deactivates and then reactivates at random intervals as if it's repeating or something, I've tried reinstall firmware, G Hub and reconnecting the USB but no luck and it doesn't seem that would even be the issue.
I am asking here because the Logitech Support website is absolutely useless with help.

Sounds like the switch is dying so plugging it and out and ghub won't fix it. Depending on it's age might be able to warranty for it but I'm guessing not considering what you said. Only fix, if that is the problem, would be soldering in a new switch.

The most popular library I've seen for free image processing is ImageMagick (sometimes shortened to Imagick). They do have .lua bindings that are likely to allow you to use standard things like screenshots and then apply them with this library. Particularly maybe you can use the compare class to find differences between images and programmatically work with those further with the library depending on what your goals are.
Either way this is likely going to be 97% coding and 3% applying it to G Hub with whatever special operations/triggers you need.

Having an issue with modded Fallout 4.
I use the fallout 4 script extender and have renamed the script extender exe to Fallout4 so it runs through steam. The issue I am having is that this seemingly causes G hub to not recognize when the game is actually running. The game's main executable is still the original, it's just that it's been renamed so that steam will work with the script extender. I've also tried inputting a custom path to G hub for the original exe and it still doesn't work. It switches to the Fallout 4 profile for a split second before switching back to desktop default.

my g815 just lost it's preset i was using for over a year and it wasn't saved anywhere

it took a lot of time to make it look very functional like each key had a color based on each function like all numbers had the same color but the brackets slighly brighter the j and f slighly brighter and all those kind of things

i don't think that the original preset is saved anywhere because i reinstalled windows on that device (i do have a backup of the ssd )

I think the return window on Amazon is 30 days so probably not. Logitech doesn't really have a say in that. Best outcome is getting a warranty replacement and selling it

That port on the dongle is an input for other devices to transmit them wirelessly not for plugging the headset into.
