I recently got a G502x lightspeed mouse. It had 10% battery last night. I plugged in the charging came into the usb looking thing and then plugged in the dongle to the other side of the usb looking thing, I woke up to the mouse still being on 10%. I then just plugged the cord into the mouse and it started charging. It went from 10% to 42% in 3 minutes. At least I figured out how to charge it. But what is the usb looking thing for?

I'd check to make sure its clean. When dust (which is common on desktops, especially gaming ones with lots of fans and heat!) gets in the port it can make it difficult to plug all the way in.
Super common issue with smartphones of all kinds. Otherwise if the metal on the mouse doesn't look bent and other cords are also loose, then likely wear and tear. =[

If you are just wanting to create generic macros from scratch that perform inputs of both mouse and keyboard, delays, systems, actions, and applications before assigning them to anything, you can use a combination of inputs and delays by going to the top right menu in G Hub > Games & Applications > Macros:

Hi, so i'm using the g pro x headset with my pc, and when i hear people talk about what to use for competitive games, they say that you should use stereo over surround sound. And i dont know if this is normal for all the headsets, but the stereo audio is just so terrible and bland, its insanely crisp beyond my liking. I own wireless earbuds from asus, and the stereo sound just sounds much better

Is stereo audio on gaming headsets meant to be like this? Or does the g pro x just have terrible stereo sound?

im having an issue with the logitech g923 pedal set

the brake and clutch are fine, but the gas pedal feels wiggly. It barely requires any force to press and when i do press it, it can shake and wiggle a decent amount. can anyone tell if this is normal?

the reason they say to use stereo is that the surround in headphones is fake. unless it has more than 2 drivers, it cannot be surround. it is activly distorting some aspect of the audio source to create that sound. you will be at a disadvantage faking surround over someone using stereo with the same headset. as far as it sounding terrible, that part is subjective and comparing them to in-ears is tricky because of how they make sound and the proximity to your eardrum. General concensus is anything marketed as gaming is going to have a compromise somewhere especially wireless.

Do you have a mic that can support BlueVoice? That may be the easiest to use with Logitech equipment.

You're breathing is quiet, but due to the proximity of the mic it may be picking it up a lot up. The major thing to check out could be the gate level. This is the level of noise where if its below the level it won't register as sound at all and the mic will ignore it. The higher the value, the louder your sounds will need to be for the mic to recognize it. It otherwise doesn't effect your loudness overall.
Good for getting rid of low-level hums from equipment, distant voices, and/or breathing. You'll have to find a gate that works for you based on how loud you speak and how close the mic is. The closer it is the easier it will be to find a gate level that is above a lot of things, but lower than when you speak quitely.

well, if you have an actual 7.1 surround setup with 7 speakers and a sub all located properly, then that would be more realisitic (but only if the source has support for it), but if you try and jam that into a pair of headphones, stereo is going to be better

Hey all! I just found an old Logitech G Pro Wireless keyboard at an estate sale, the people selling it said they thought it didn't work and gave it to me for free. Gave it a quick wipe-down and plugged it in to find that it actually does work! It came with no wireless dongle though so is there anywhere I could get the dongle replaced?

you can get one through logtiech support but you have to absolutely make sure that you are getting the right one. I recently tried to get a replacement dongle for my headset but it was the wrong version, so it didn't work with my headset. You also might need a way to pair it to the keyboard once you get it.

Hello i recentely buy the logitech g pro x superlight 2 and i heard if i increase my dpi and drop my in-game sens for getting the same edpi it should be more precise and reduce pixel skipping.
But I also heard that I should not increase too high my dpi Because its can make the mouse smoothing (interpollating).
So this is a good idea to put my mouse to max dpi(32 000) and a really low in-game sens or it’s better to keep a balance sens/dpi like 800/1600 and a middle in-game sens? Does logitech g pro x superlight have native dpi and interpollating?

"pixel skipping" is very dependent on the game settings. What game are you playing? You may need to enable mouse-accuracy settings. Logitech cannot control what the game sets as its rate... but can set the Operating System (OS) settings. Do you feel other mice have a different setup?

Soz, game consoles may have vastly different settings from standard operating systems an I don't have any consoels to test on. However every Logitech piece of equipmnt I have tested works fine with standard default settings. May be worth a look to setup in-memory settings if you are expecting spedcific behavior.

on a hardware level, ive seen people swap the spring in the clutch and brake. other than that, youll need to adjust its sensitivity in the game or in ghub if on PC so need less force to actuate the brake at 100%, but thats pretty much all you can do.

also, the word "fix" isnt really accurate since its not a problem with the pedals, you just need to tune it to your needs/liking

ghub is only going top detect it with the dongle. Plugging them in wired, the pc isnt going to be able to tell the difference between them and any other headphone, and same mostly applies with bluetooth, even if it it able to find the name of the device. Bottom line is that ghub will only interact with the headset connected via wireless dongle

What I don't get is that I had a pair in December but ghub only got an update today to support them? I returned them a bit ago but now I wonder if the issues I had would have been resolved with this update.

the issue that I couldnt fix was that the earpads were just too small to be comfortable for me. getting wicked cusions replacements made it better but destryoed the sound. The one that I was able to fix but shouldnt have had to was that on PC, the mic gain was so low that the mic was unusable. I was able to boost it with some other software but for an almost $400 headset, that shouldnt be needed. That and it acted weird with my LG monitor which seems to be a common issue with LG dispalys

My solution was to ditch them and just add a yeti GX mic to go along with my Pro X 2 headset. ends up being about the same price with none of the problems (and looks better imo)

I, personally, think wireless is wonderful. The response times for higher-end products from the likes of Razer, Logitech, etc... mean its just a matter of convenience. Have a cleaner setup and only plug in one day a week/month for extra money is up to you.

If you hate the idea of having to plug things in G203 is about as cheap as you can get for gaming purposes. Nothing wrong with going with a cheaper G203 in black vs white... but I personally would recommend matching your setup. Is your desktop/monitors/peripherals white? Chances are they aren't so just match those with cheaper and equally good materials of a G203... but otherwise match your setup to ensure you enjoy the atmopshere of your setup (something you'll notice every day).

The only downside (in my personal opinion) to the G502 lineup is that it is considered very "game-oriented". Not the most professional looking mouse, but otherwise does some of the highest end stuff with ergonomics, extra buttons, and all the high-end options for gaming at the lower end price point. What do you mean by "super-delay"? Are you trying to delay a macro input by hours? or are you saying you have little to no delay on the macro but the actual use-case is obviously delayed far more than what you input?

I use the side buttons for different keybinds on games or have macros set up to the side buttons that i use on games and now they are being delayed by a couple seconds when i press them. It used to work fine until a logitech g hub update that it did today

im guessing that its because of that update but i dont know how to downgrade to the last version

I also changed the sensitivity on my throttle and brake settings in Ghub and that's when I finally started getting into the :12.xxs I think I set them both to 80%. I tried changing the wheel rotation to 540° and 360° but it didn't seem to carry over into the game for some reason

I also really like it. I have the wireless version, which was a requirement for me but:

• The sounds is great as with any headset in the price range
• The durability has been great, mine are treated rough sometimes by the kids
• they seem smaller than other options on the market
• the ear pads work great with third party options if you like memory foam or other style of upgrades
• the microphone is removable which is amazing if you have a better mic option.
• The buttons to control silencing work well (and control Bluetooth/On/Off for wireless versions are well placed and have great color indicators)
• I've never liked any headset microhpone to include this one, but if you don't have an extra microphone setup and don't care to support a dedicated microphone, you can potentialy upgrade to something like the Icepop I can't speak to whether or not its better.

I have and have used the icepop on the Pro X, Pro X wireless, and Pro X 2 and it makes it better but its marginal. Its still not going to be better than a dedicated mic even the new yeti orb. The pro X 2 has the best audio from the 3 in my experience (but sound is different for everyone) Also worth noting that the icepop mic is still worse than the mic on teh new Astro A50X, but I find the pro line more comfortable

Ill mention I did have issues with durability on the hinge of the Pro X wireless but it was always handled by support, the Pro X 2 fixed this issue with a new design

Sounds like something is stuck underneath causing it to need more pressure to actual trigger the click.

• You can try getting something with a strong air-pressure to clean it out by just blowing. (easy)
• You can try taking it apart to ensure that there isn't anything stuck, or that something broke on the interior. (medium)
  • Taking Logitech mice apart is mildly difficult, since some screws are under bumpers so you'll need to be diligent about how you disassemble and reassemble it.
  • Hopefully there is just something stuck there you can clean/remove.
  • If something is broken, your best bet is to reach out to support for a replacement if its warranty is still good. Otherwise likely needs a replacement, no official part replacement I see. There are third-party suppliers maybe something like this site can get some cheap specific parts, but again a fair amount of work. (hard)

Ultimately up to you if the issue is worth just dealing with, versus repairing yourself, versus buying a new setup. Hope the issue is just a simple clean/air-blast to dislodge whatever might be stuck and you get your mouse back to working!

You can always check on local thrift options like Craigslist to get a cheap busted one or Ebay.

That's going to require some research and due diligence that you know how and what to get and the risk of going with third-parties.

I've had good luck fixing expensive TVs with cheap motherboard parts from eBay... but I've also seen it not quite work out for some people. So its a rough call since you can't always return thing with the above options. Hope you get a good setup either way!

Hi, have a question about putting macro's on my keyboard (G815): I wanna put a Macro to the G5 knob on M1 on my keyboard via the Logitech G software (in the Logitech Software F5). But if I drag a Macro to the G5 knob on M1 in my Logitech Software, the macro immediately syncs to every profile on the G5 knob on M1. And I wanna put a macro to the G5 knob on M1 on one specific Profile! I have this problem for months Now! ok I wanted to ask here before i went to support, my blue yeti x WoW edition mic is showing and it works but last night I have no clue why but in the logitech g hub i can't see it registering any input and output. I usually use that to monitor how loud anyone else in the house is while i am recording voiceovers for video. Sometimes I think hubs is loud from the other room but microphone doesn't pick him up so I am good and keep recording. The microphone is recording fine but I can't tell from the app what is going on. So I don't know if the app is working so that means I might not be able to change the voice sounds etc either anyone know why the app might not be working I DID restart my computer and so that isn't working. Computer does show the Yeti as the working mic.

Hey, sorry I think this is not the right place to ask for help but the chatbot of logitech doesn't send me any actual human and just say no one is available and I don't receive any reply by e-mail.

I bought a headset called "Logitech G Pro X", brand new, first it was really hard for G Hub to recognise it but I solved this issue, second the headset is always "lagging" like one second I can hear everything fine and then one second later I can only hear from left side and last thing is the microphone is nearly unusable. I will explain myself, after trying everything (new drivers, uninstall g hub and downloading it again, changing usb port etc.) I tried to plug the wire really strongly in the spot of the headset and it works but as soon as I stop pushing really strongly the wire into the headset, it stops working. Are all the headset like that ? Is mine broken ? Am I doing something wrong ?

I have read about 23 different articles and followed every step in detail with no luck. I have installed 50+ older versions of the installer with no luck either. Bummer, normally the scroll up and scroll down are customizable with third-party and G Hub software.

Glad you have a good setup with Razer though, their side of the house is filled with tons of hate on the software side as well and they give me the impression I'm the only person who support had ever helped. 🤷

I personally moved over to Logitech since its software (albeit far from perfect) was miles ahead of multiple third-party applications and Razer Synapse, but I stuck with Synapse 2 and 3 for as long as I could. Probably on par now, but the ecosystem just wasn't as great.

I'm hoping someone can help me. I've been happily using my G600 for years, but after doing a clean install (and missed backing up a few things, ghub included) the new version is killing me. I cant simply click on a button to change the bind? it only allows default or disable.. Im used to there being a modify option with a box that pops up to configure the button. • If you are using the newer headset (2) make sure you aren't on Bluetooth mode (or connect via the Bluetooth mode).
• Have you confirmed the dongle works anywhere else like on a laptop or other desktop, just to confirm the connection/dongle isn't messed up.
• Do you have other setups that might have priority and aren't switching to the headset?
• Just in case you can check. I went to Settings > Sound > Audo Output and could see the device there.

Hello everyone, does anyone know why my logitech brio camera is so laggy? Is there any fix for this?

I would check to make sure its updated with any firmware (although the 2017 Brio is limited supposedly compared to its newer 2022 clone [4K Pro]). You can check with G Hub or here. Looks like 2.0.12 is the newest.

Otherwise make sure you don't have a bunch of competing software that's trying to filter/compress/change it. Running multiple softwars that are all competing with the camera input could be problematic.

Otherwise, also test with a lot of light if you can. Move some lamps closer or test near a bright window. Although the Brio has a good sensor for 4K it is still a USB camera that tries to compensate and low-light isn't going to be its strongest suite. If you're dark it may be trying to over-calculate for exposure or something similar. You can try disabling all effects in G Hub or another software you prefer to see if the raw feed is lagging still. If it speeds up after disabling then it the darkness (if applicable) could be problematic.

when in normal software mode, I assign the left windows key to the side of the mouse. It works. When I enter hardware mode, every other bind works other than the left windows. Any ideas why?

If "hardware mode" is simliar to the onboard memory, you may need to ensure the key-binding is based on a profile where the binding is set. The on-board memory can have several profiles. Ensure the one you want to load is default, or swap it up.

I have just changed the bind to pause/play to see if its just the windows bind that wont work. It still dosent work, and now my button underneath the non-working button is spamming on and off. Do you have an example of things from ytb (YouTube?) that you tried?

• Does your device appear in Device Manager (assuming Windows)? This should be the case since its working otherwise. If so you can try to update drivers from there.

Typically you can also reset your G Hub settings to default to try and get the database rebuilt and to try and find devices then.
You can find your settings.db file at:
%LocalAppData%\LGHUB\settings.db
Follow that path in File Explorer.

Probably a good idea to make a backup, but if you delete this it will be rebuilt with system default settings and hopefully will detect all your gear as well.

I would recommend you try plugging it into the computer directly as opposed to just through the wireless adapter to get something to show up.

You can try looking at all devices to see if its showing up as "unspecified"? Example

Hello everyone! I joined this server because I can't solve an issue with g-hub, and I was hoping other users may have been experiencing the same trouble. I have a G502 Hero mouse with multiple profiles set up for different environments/games/software and a dedicated button to cycle between profiles and everything works fine. except some functionalities such as macros don't work in some applications unless i run G Hub as administrator. But... I didn't manage to start up G Hub at windows boot-up as administrator. I tried to change the flag "run as administrator" on the .exe of the program but when I do it windows won't start up the program at boot-up. Anyone figured something like that out? My G915 has lost the color profile. now i have the annoying waving rainbow. In GHub its still correct. I disabled the color management in windows, i turned power on off, connected via USB, restarted GHub etc...nothing helped

Do you have other RGB software? Like Corsair's iCUE, SignalRGB, Asus Aura Sync/Crate, or other software that is potentially taking over?

Those can have issues fighting G Hub depending on your setup. You can likely tell if you set the keyboard to on-board memory for your profile you want where it won't care about the software. If it goes back to a default setting after turning the on-board memory back off something may be taking over.

Is anyone able to help me solve this issue? My X56 HOTAS worked just fine with flightgear up untill I installed the X56 Driver so as to change the color of the integrated LED lights. Now flightgear will not detect the stick and throttle anymore. I have uninstalled flightgear and wiped all of the files associated with it in an attempt to solve my issue. you would need to set it to something that could be used by ANY keyboard, like a series of keys if its possible to change mouse profiles that way. you will not be able to get the logitech and razer software to communicate with one another

From my experience with both Razer Synapse and Logitech G Hub, they do not support items outside their own eco-system in their standard User Interfaces.

However, you can run general applications/commands on both which means that it could be done, but will require some plugin/coding on your part.

If you have a lot of eco-systems you can potentially try checking outa third-party system like SignalRGB that can control a lot of products out there. In particular its far easier to get into the coding interface with SignalRGB which is also far more transparent about the larger amount of products it supports.

The SignalRGB does have a built-in no-code macro solution that works with their layouts/effects/presets etc.. the kicker is that its in beta and likely a paid feature. 😩

Are you looking to change G Hub profiles with a Logitech gear?

That can be done with a profile cycle in system for any applicable input. However, this may not be accessible in Razer Synapse (which is what I thought you were aiming for?) without some additional coding.

I need some help with my new Logitech G Pro X 2 headset. It's been working fine with bluetooth on my mobile device yesterday, but today I tried to get it to work with my computer and it took over 3 hours, surprisingly. After I got it to somewhat work (Audio played, but stuff like the volume wheel didn't work), I opened G Hub and it told me to update the headset's firmware.

I clicked yes. It tried to update, but then there was an error that there was some sort of timeout (Error said "Tiempo de espera agotado", means timeout in Spanish) and told me to turn off the headset and turn it back on and then try again. I did so, but now the headset was stuck in "Updating firmware" in G Hub. I had to completely close G Hub and restart it for it to go away, but now it says my headset is inactive and just won't recognize it. Due to the firmware update having been stopped, the headset doesn't play any audio anymore either.

If anyone can help, please do. It's really frustrating that I spent 200 dollars on this headset just for the supposedly really good app for managing these products to error out in the middle of an update and pretty much break the headset from what I can see.
