ya i got a wheel recently, but i still need to buy another lil throttle hand control thing, so i can use the gas n brake easier. (in wheelchair) So i'm just using my controller for now.

And normally i use A/X to up/downshift... n they only allow either RB+LB, or X+Y for shifting.. n my brain just keeps derp'n.. and driving auto, u get such crap launches and starts, it's too much of a hinderance.

I think Forza games are more "simcade" ... cuz i personally can not handle the more arcade like games myself. (Need for speed, kind of The Crew) It's definitely not a simulator game. But it's that perfect middle ground. At least for me Forza Horizon is. I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE forza horizon. Just cuz of the open world driving, the multiple discipline classes (like dirt racing). N just the ability to open world drift. That's the stuff i love.

Which is why i wanted to get into Crew Motorfest.. But i hate their upgrade system (new motorsport not much better), and the whole control issues i explained back with Autumnizhurr.

I'm honestly look'n forward to Test Drive Solar Crown, cuz that (Test Drive Unlimited 1/2) ticked every box i like in an open world game (at the time it was released) ... the walk around, the owning of a house/limited garage, having to drive to car dealerships to buy cars... not just sit in menu's. It's a more interactive n engaging experience. (or i hope they are able to recapture that magic)

I've learned not to get my hopes up with AAA title releases.. set expectations low.. so you can only be pleasantly surprised... vs the opposite emotional response/rollercoaster

Got my brand new Logitech G29 wheel and pedals today and I have a question. When racing in Assetto Corsa, the wheel has about 4cm (about 1.4") of free play when the steering wheel is dead center. I have good resistance when going around turns, but no resistance when the wheel is centered. I can see the car wheel moving on the monitor with every tiny movement of my wheel, so I know the signal is getting through, but it feels weird to have this free play with no resistance in the center. Is this normal? How much free play is normal on a G29? THANK YOU for your help.

I spoke with Joseph at Logitech technical support about Ticket Number : 11891410 several days ago. He told me that my wheel was defective and to request a replacement G29 system. I got the new replecement system today. All the buttons are now being detected by Windows 10 in my PC. When I type joy.cpl and test all the buttons, they are working perfectly. When I start G-hub and click any button, I see no indication that G-hub sees the button. My wheel paddle shifters and pedals do work fine, but the buttons on the wheel are not detected by G-hub. I do see all the buttons working in joy.cpl, but NOT in G-hub. I'm growing evermore frustrated with this system that is supposed to be "plug and play". If I can't get this to work, I'll just return it and buy a Fanatec racing sim system. Logitech G please HELP ME.

You can customize what game mode does. Have you checked your device/settings? You can set almost any key to various states. Try checking your settings, otherwise without more information it would be difficult to help troubleshoot.

If you are referring to a product such as:

I have a pair and would argue they are the best in-ear buds I have ever used (and I have gone through several dozen pairs).

Everything about some core functionality such as the sound, battery life, software to control the experience, and a ton of other options are all about the same compared to other products in the price range. Below are some unique pros/cons.

The pros:

  • The custom fit allows them to be minimal but stay put during exercise.
  • I have only gone up to running/light sports-style workouts. (e.g. no upside down rock-climbing or swimming which - to be honest, no buds would likely work great for)
  • The case and buds are designed to be cleaned easier than any other pair I've ever used which is a big plus for me.
  • Water-proofing has been great from my limited testing.
  • Swapping between Bluetooth and wireless connection makes multiple computer setups pretty easy. No issues troubleshooting these setups often.

The cons:

  • They do not wirelessly charge, which for the price point is kind of a bummer.
  • No active noise-cancellation. This is a deal-breaker for some people.
  • Supposedly you can get replacement "molds" for a price which is likely higher cost in general and not as easy to order as other types of standard sized molds. The fact they are custom and the best to clean usually means you'll only need to reorder if you lose them.. but something to consider.

Sorry for the late reply, you usually assign profiles to one of three slots a highlighted in the linked picture (sorry no embeds 🙁). You can then see which profile is active on your keyboard based on which M# key is lit up. You can change the profile to whichever slot in the G Hub software by clicking on the adjacent blue profile name and choosing from the dropdown. 👍

To the best of my knowledge Logitech G Hub doesn't support every Logitech brand device and may not even include all Logitech G-based devices (generally some older ones). Although most Logitech G-based devices should be supported. Sadly I cannot find a definitive list. =[

However, if you had a Logitech MX Mouse as an example you would likely want to utilize the Logi Options+ software instead as I don't believe it would be recognized in G Hub.

I believe that is correct, there isn't a listed supported software for the G413 SE Gaming Keyboard to the best of my knowledge:

Other forums indicate that G Hub doesn't support/list that keyboard as well:

If you are looking for lighting options it might be worth checking out SignalRGB, although it has close models listed, I can't verify of the G413 specifically.
There are also several macro softwares, but the most popular I have seen it Auto HotKey.

Hello everyone! I am fairly new to discord so I am not fully sure of all of the etiquette, but I have a question about my G502X and my gaming set up. Would this be the best place to ask? Not quite a tech support question, more of a mapping buttons question.

I just got my G502X and I love it. I play Fortnite on my Xbox Series S with the mouse and keyboard. How can I get the sniper button to map to my weapon item slot? Everytime I press it in game, it maps to F10, which opens the in game menu, and not what I want it to do. In the Fortnite settings I have tried to get it to change and I just can't get it to work. Anyone else have this issue?

I'm not sure if there's a way to map buttons on the Xbox Series S within the console itself if there's a way to on mouse and keyboard, but maybe there's something in the Xbox console settings itself that would allow you to override what they button does if remapping it in Fortnite isn't working?

Yea thats a good point. I have taken the USB receiver and messed around with it in G Hub, and that is the only one I can't get to work correctly. Just mildly annoying

Could you maybe try remapping F10 to the button you're intending to use, then remap the game menu button to a different one? Maybe that would swap them and allow you to use them how you intend? So like you swap the game menu button to a different one, then remap F10 to the sniper button, then when you press the button the the G502X, it'll work how you're intending? 😅 🤞

I don't have that with my 7.1 channel headset, I disabled the realtek codec because it was causing BSOD for ASUS Sonic Suite so I just removed that too. It's one of the first things I had to do when I got the PC to make it useable.

I thought G-Shift was only for mice? Are you trying to activate a mouses G-shift from the keyboard? I don't have that keyboard, but if it did have its own G-shift similar to mice you would usually put this in under the device's settings (clicking on it in the main G Hub device list) > Assignments > System > G-Shift(under Device submenu - or just use the search/filter up top) . You can very likely then drag and drop that option (the G-shift text) from the side-menu onto which ever key you want to be your G-Shift activation key. If you want to activate G-Shifts across devices it may be a different setup. Hope you get a good setup either way.

Here is a screenshot of the side-bar menu as an example, may be a bit different for your keyboard in particular:

If you mean that when you unplug the USB connector and the mouse still can move and/or click with the computer you are likely in some form of Bluetooth mode. Since you didn't mention any software/settings, this is most likely the case. Check your hardware switches/settings and see if you are on Bluetooth and that's why the USB being unplugged makes no difference in the controls.

Hope you get a fix either way!

I wanted to make a script that when I press left click on my mouse on the premiere pro software, I want it to go to a certain part of the screen, release left click, and go back to the original position of the mouse
I tried to do it with the lua scripting feature
this is what I have rn:
