The treasure mobs being random may be part of the event but the issue is the 3* and 4* aren’t dropping anything at all,
Only the 5* and 6* have a slim chance to drop anything,
I don’t believe this to be intended, I mean what’s the point of a placeholder for a placeholder,
All in all it basically means that the drop rates chance is completely trash,
Why bother having the 3-4* mobs spawn at all if they don’t have the chance to drop anything anyway.

3 full days of solid farming not seen a 3-4 star drop anything at all.
Not even once.
That royal band rng took it all
Took it for 3 days, finally got a drop from below a 5/6 star, the rates are really bad all the same to get to end of 3rd day with none from.

Yeah they turned a cool event to do a bit on the side into an event barely worth considering, the Bloodthorn treasures 5* and 6* mobs would usually drop something but Dhiothu treasures, even 5* and 6* would drop something once in a blue moon, if at all.
Adding in regular mobs as placeholders was a super strange choice considering theres no real reason to have it "balanced" having all treasures active at once, because nobody ever does hrung/necro/gele treasures.
It's been 70% drops from 3* Dhio mobs, 30% from 5* and not a single drop from a 6*
