This game matters a lot to a lot of people.. it’s worth more than a gg so what. There needs to be some sort of collaboration at this point

Pay these guys to advise or something. They made the private because they fully understand the game and what it needs to be successful and more fun. I understand deca tries but is limited to what they can do due to financial constraints (id imagine). They need support

Not enough. If i won the lottery the first thing i would do is buy this game and give it the love it deserves. As i said, deca is unquestionably doing what they can with the resources at their disposal, but in order for the game to thrive it needs more.

Almost think the new boss needs a system where everybody who participates gets a base tier drop and then there is like a tiered system similar to dino, but the max tier is muchhh higher.

Deca is doing this as a business side not a customer base. There’s important things like, take care of your customers, give good quality and service and they will continue to return. But we have a money grab that they choose to downgrade servers, lower quality, scam community of their time and resources, and they expect the player base to stay the same. They need to invest is us and they will see a ROI.

Someone basically took Celtic and made their own version but modded it to make it better than the real game. Added new zones, new bosses, fixed mechanics, xp gain, everything. Lvl cap currently is up to 280 ish from what I have heard

If you’re supporting a couple of players, sure.

But it sounds like there may be more than just a couple of players on this private server, so Actual hardware is needed to ensure a stable experience.

Sure, it could be a donated server, or one that was retired, but it still cost money to run.

My servers at work consume anywhere from 500W-1KW/hr of power. I would imagine the power bills alone could be quite hefty.

I can definitely see this being possible… All of the code was available at some point (supposedly). So that could have been cloned, loaded onto a new server, then expanded from there.

Sinply side-load a modded app onto your device that is designed to communicate with the new server, done.

Loads of work, but possible.

if a priv server exist, its not to blame. if one person unpaid doing a better job than an entire paid team, its an embarrassment to DECA. the solution is for DECA to improve, not to hunt down someone lol

I see what you’re saying - it is sad, but at this point I think they have no choice other than to figure out who they are (not punish them in any way) and collaborate.

Ngl if a private server does exist and is taking players away maybe that should be a serious kick up the arse to deca that they’re going to lose their game

Instead of changing UI, releasing an EXTREMELY bugging and glitch game to steam and merging servers to kill them, they should actually focus on current issues, bugs and general game balancing

To be fair. Deca isn't alone on this killing of ch. VR started the dig the grave when they stopped all development for their rugpull of a game called warhammer. It's been quite the tag team of digging Celtic heroes grave. Deca has added a bit to the game. But 90% of it being bland or copy and paste or things the players have vocally expressed their dislike for. Including the UI. Throttling Swaps, chat, auction house instead of fixing the actual problem. Making the game that much worse.
