See title. I'm playing through Ubisoft Connect on PC, and I have no idea if I got the update yet. I still get VRAM increases, though

#

feel free to ping me if there's a solution

Hi,

From the game tile, select "Options" , go to "Information" and the version number should be visible.

last I checked, it still said 1.0.0.0, even after reinstalling the game on PC

#

I think they just haven't updated the version number of the exe in general

#

have you checked if you have any updates?

#

My game was updated and I didn’t even know until days later

I did get an update somewhere from the 29th to the 30th, but I have no way of checking if that was the 1.1.1 hotfix they intended to deliver

#

especially since I was still getting pretty high VRAM

so if it was anything before, then it wouldnt be it

I have since reinstalled the game to see if that would update the exe's version number, so I have no way of knowing now if that was the hotfix or not

yeah, I'm still nearing full VRAM usage after a couple of hours of gameplay

you probably got the patch but i think it's just a bug that the exe file isn't showing the right version number, but after I downloaded the hotfix (2GB download on the 30th) my exe files now show a modified date of 30th, so it did update them.

The game will always use all of your VRAM. It's coded to do that regardless if you have 6 gigs of VRAM or 28 gigs of VRAM. It will use all of it, it can. The big difference is that the less VRAM you have the graphics quality will be less then someone with more VRAM. The game detects how much VRAM your card has and preloads textures sizes and such according to that.

I'm working with 16 gb of VRAM. the game starts off using less than half of that, then grows to near capacity by the time I'm an hour or so in

I don't recall this happening within the three day window before the game had its widespread launch
