Hello all!! Over the past few weeks I’ve been putting together my Kay Vess cosplay for DreamHack Melbourne!

I’m super excited to cosplay her and am really happy with how it’s all coming together!

I did the unthinkable however and changed the material for the jacket and opted to use an old cotton jacket I’d had in my craft pile. Cotton is a much nicer material for me to wear as an Aussie cosplayer and it just makes the cosplay that little bit more comfortable to wear!

Hoping to smash out the holster and blaster this week before starting on Nix! Very excited for this game and to cosplay Kay!

Got a fair bit done today! Finished the blaster holster and made Kay’s hairpin using some scrap materials I had laying around.

Tomorrow’s plan is to paint the hairpin and blaster, weather the outside and attach the new jacket geeble.

Hoping next week to smash out a little Nix plush and make some of the playing cards 😄

Outfit wise I am con ready! The blaster is currently drying and ready to be painted tomorrow. Five days till the con and I’m hoping to get a little nix plush made by then!

unfortunately I wasn’t able to attend the con I made this cosplay for as I got pretty sick beforehand. I have done a photoshoot at home and I’m really excited to share all the photos on May 4th but here is a little sneak peek 🫣 ❤️
