  • Higher rarities offer more friendship exp. For instance: a 1 heart item with a purple background will offer significantly more exp than a 1 heart item with a green background. This applies to other heart amounts as well. (Try to use higher rarities for maximum exp gain!)
  • 💚 = LOWEST exp gain
  • 💛💛💛 = HIGHEST exp gain (STC)

CHARACTER ABILITIES AND BONUSES

After certain levels are reached, some characters can follow you and offer a special effect. Don’t forget to bring your friends along with you to maximize your experience!

These characters help most for gifting purposes:

mymelody My Melody has a chance of giving one extra return gift reward when gifting to characters with her Big Smile ability. Bring her along when you hand out your daily gifts for more crafting/cooking materials! (Friendship Level 1 gives you a 25% chance, Level 7 gives 50%, Level 12 gives 75% and Level 17 Friendship gives you a 100% chance of a bonus return gift!)

chococat Chococat has a chance of doubling crafted items with his Master Crafter ability. Bring him to craft all your goodies to save on resources! (Friendship Level 5 gives you a 30% of a bonus item each time that you craft!)

hellokitty Hello Kitty has a chance of doubling foods with her Sous Chef ability AND increasing friendship exp with her Everyone's Friend ability. Bring her along when making all your treats to save on resources, plus gain extra friendship exp for faster leveling! (Friendship Level 2 gives a 25% chance of a bonus food item each time you cook, Level 5 has a 50% chance, Level 13 has a 75% change and Level 21 has a 100% chance. Friendship Level 12 helps Friendship Exp grow 10% faster!)

badtz Badtz increases your chance of attracting rare fish with his Fish Whisperer ability! (Friendship Level 5 increases your chances by 25%, Level 7 increases by 50%, Level 12 increases by 75%, and Friendship Level 17 increases your chance of attracting rare fish by 100%!)

hangyodon Hangyodon increases your chance of a rare fish appearing with his Fish Friend ability! (Friendship Level 10 increases your change by 25%!)

keroppi Keroppi has a chance of making critters slower with his Critter Calmer ability and of them not running away with his Critter Friend ability! (Level 6 Friendship gives a 10% decrease to Critter speed, Level 11 gives a 30% decrease, and Level 13 gives a 50% decrease to Critter speed. Friendship Level 9 gives you a 25% chance that critters won't run away!)

wishmemell Wish me mell has the ability to reduce the Crane Craze game speed by 25% with her Slow and Steady ability at Level 13! Some of the prizes make good gifts for her!

Please note take care gifting, there's a glitch in the new update where other gifts may show up in the top spot, rather than that character's actual 3 heart gift, they will not give you a large box if you gift the wrong one, even if it pretends to be a three heart gift... And it may pretend their real 3 heart is a 1 heart, etc...

Only the normal 3 heart gifts from before give you large boxes.

Gift Hearts
: The "Liked" Hearts on items in the gifting panel are not showing up correctly. It will inaccurately cache the first friend's preference and use those to calculate hearts on all future gift panels. The gifting is unaffected, only the display is wrong. --- Will be fixed in Hotfix 1.3.1

Chelsea wrote that she was supposed to like wood wood, not pink pink... making the Colorful Lamb Plush her planned 3 heart gift. If the tags get changed, the Pink Cloud would no longer be a 2 heart gift for her. For now we just need to wait and let them decide how to adjust it.

Quattro Formaggi Pizza is a ONE heart gift for her, but it has purple rarity so it can grant you a decent amount of wool. TWO heart gifts should yield more friendship level increases based on past testing. You have to choose your own path.

Once they are able to hot fix her preferences and/or recipes/crafting plans we'll update here.
