They can randomly spawn, but as diamonds, it’s also a very rare spawn. You’ll find one in the wild on tier 2, and they can also be won from the mini games.
There’s other ways of getting them though, the wiki has a list of all the ways 🫶

Switch 1 player here. Are there any potential issues I should know about with having a physical (non-deluxe) copy of the base game and buying a digital copy of WW? I assume it "just works" but I've never dealt with a game split across cartridge + DLC before

Yeah, it just works. I have had other games physical with a DLC and never had an issue. It's pretty similar to when the game gets updates. You still need the cartridge in to play and you download the DLC to your system.

Apparently after you activate the critter statue and you collect the wheatheart, the critter statue does not appear in the empty space. (I could not remember if I actually collected the wheathearts from those critter statues, but apparently I did!) So today I was trying to get those statues.

you have some options:

1. Let your gems spawn without collecting for 3 days, you get a slightly better chance to have a spawn of rare gems this way
2. If you are advanced enough in the main storyline, try to activate a lucky star and then go play minigames, this will increase your odds on getting an opal or diamond as a reward
3. Ask for thhe gems in the multiplayer channels

That was the first time I went thru the 150 map and soon after gave up bc I couldn’t figure out which I was missing. I was like I’ll come back to it in a couple months, maybe it’ll be worked out or more ppl will know. Now it’s a couple months later 😅 I have 149 wheat hearts

Hi, I see I am not the only person having the issue of finding all 150 wheathearts. I have gone through two different guides for a total of 5-6 runs. I don't understand. I have made sure my photos are at different angles, I don't keep chests once I open them, and everything else looks completed. At this point I think my game is bugged. If someone could help me I'd greatly appreciate it!

I also broke all the chests and that caused my issue. I thought I was looking at the right place for my last one and assumed I got it because I didn't see the chest but had to walk a little further and found it. For me, my last one was the chest to the left of the entrance from Hello Kitty's Café... The very first one listed on the commonly missed wheathearts at the bottom of the wheatheart wiki page. Everyone's last one seems to differ, though! Make sure you check this list!

I thought it might be a photo one because there are some at strange angles and places, but I'm able to check all of them off. I do wish there was a better way to keep track in-game.

I'll spoiler this because it's only on Arcade at the moment. ||We had a similar collection in our last big update on Arcade, but there were only about 72 of them, and the nul will tell us how many we have in each category. And even with that, it can still be difficult to tell which one you're missing!|| Simply being told you only have 149 out of 150 is no help at all.

I had to go through multiple times before I found which one I missed. I was so confident I had them all that I took and saved screenshots of every single photo, puzzle, and lack of chest so I could put in a bug report. And doing that is how I found it. I used Nikki Island Adventure's YouTube video alongside her checklist and map that she provides with it. If you can check all those off and document them, maybe you do have a bug. I think so far everyone who has posted here has eventually found the last one. Best of luck to you .

I’m with you! I’ve been through the checklist slowly and detailed many times. Here’s my theory on why the bug isn’t affecting everyone: the lamppost puzzle that is two tiers (the one with the fallen lamp below), if we solved the puzzle on the lower tier, the dancing wheatheart was on the higher tier and we were not able to capture it so we are getting credit for completing the puzzle but are not getting the wheatheart itself. Just a theory but could be why this is affecting only some of us

I strongly recommend you practice going to that spot before you get the rain. Because once rain comes, it doesn’t last nearly long enough, and flovern are very hard to catch.

@unborn jetty I think with the Wondrous Stone it is actually a guarantee, unlike the other weather stones in the main game. You get to choose specifically which weather event and it will definitely happen in Wheatflour Wonderland. When you're ready, use it and choose rain and immediately go up to the flovern level to get as many as you can! You can only use the stone once a week. Also, you can use your platform's multiplayer channel to request flovern from other players if you still aren't able to get all you need.

So all this Wheatheart talk has me thinking. I just started a second save for funsies. When I do WW again... I just want to get Cogi to best friend for her companion abilities and access to the flower plots. I... don't think... I will actually have to do the Wheatheart Tree again... Right?? Is anything for Cogi dependent on that or just getting ||gemstones, stained glass, and flecks for her wand and critters/critter wands to get to all tiers?||. I haven’t done any wheathearts at all (except a couple by accident) in my two saves that I have for the wiki. Nor have I bothered making Cogi her fancy wands; my husband gives me the two-heart super potions, and she’s close to best friend in both those games just from that. It took longer, but you don’t need her to be best friend to get the abilities. Magical Girl is only Level 19. Fall Apart starts kicking in at 26, gets better at 29, and is best at 33. (I guess all of those should be one level higher because of the weird way the numbering works on her levels.)

it just unlocks a new area with new quests and things to collect. for me personally i thought it was worth it!

Wheatflour Wonderland adds an additional region and new character ( Cogimyun). It has the usual sort of associated content you can unlock in a region: clothes, furniture, quests, collectibles. It also adds the wand tool, and you can eventually craft wands to turn into different items (mostly just for fun or WW tasks) and all the WW critters (which actually have small abilities depending on the critter, like increased glide or run speed). Instead of puzzle rooms, it has environmental puzzles focused on one of the collectibles, Wheathearts.

Flower breeders like it because it also has large flower patches and the wheatflower, which can get the glitter effect by default. Also, one of Cogimyun's abilities increases the chance of transforming flowers into patterned ones with fertilizer. Cogimyun has other useful abilities, too. She can double most mini-game prizes and can return materials when crafting, if she's a high enough level.

Also, as people suggested to me, use this page in the wiki. Scroll down passing the map bit. You’ll see the locations and the hard ones to get highlighted in a muted dark blue-ish colour. Luckily you can ✅ next to the ones you’ve got so far. It took a mi a while when I was missing only two but it was really helpful. (I attach screenshot so you know what bit I’m talking about in case I’m horrible at explaining myself lol)

If it's not the one from the tree, the issue is usually either:

• The chest behind the citadel: thinking it has been opened when it hasn't.
  • Jumping from the correct angle from above & behind may let you visually check on whether you got the chest.
• One of the lampposts that is hidden behind a column or other object at most angles.

yup, i've got a bunch of cream glitters. the chances of pattern transfer outside the greenhouse are pretty slim.

i did most of mine in the greenhouse. if you're outside the greenhouse also double check that its not an out of season event flower you're trying to transfer to

i think it depends on your current progression in the base game and if the added features of the dlc are something you are interested in. the dlc world is mostly based around puzzles and the resources it takes to solve them requires a decent amount of time, which could be overwhelming if you have a lot of unfinished quests in the base game. personally, i had reached a point where i had no quests and was beginning to feel bored so the dlc felt very refreshing for me.

now there is the content aspect. the central items in the dlc are the wands, gem wands have no use outside of progression in the dlc. getting each gemstone is completely luck/rng based and it can take days to get the rarer gemstones (opal and diamond). but! the good thing about this server is the ability to trade, so there is the option of asking for extra gems. a key ingredient in making wands is fairy dust which is only obtainable through gifting cogimyun, which is unfortunate because the amount you get each day is not much (especially if it is not a 3 heart gift) and critter wands require 50 fairy dust to craft. this means unless you trade via multiplayer, there will be days where you are resource/time locked and cannot progress which can be frustrating.

critter wands are also mostly used solely to progress, becoming each critter has unique buffs (similar to potions) that i actually find very useful outside of the dlc world, but you can only make wands for the dlc critters which is a bit disappointing. item wands are probably the most gimmicky, there is minor progression use for them within the dlc - and functionally zero use for them other than that. however, unlike the critter wands, you can turn into literally any item in the game (though i don't see much use for this).

there are unique clothing and furniture items that are not anything like you can get in the base game. the clothing is very magical girl-esque and the furniture is royal with lots of gold. i do wish the furniture was customizable or at least had silver variants because the gold only suits specific decor. the clothing is decently customizable, though i wish we were given more color swatches.

so, if the content seems interesting to you i recommend the dlc. personally, i had lots of fun with it. i had about 3 weeks of playtime, but that could probably vary if you don't grind away at it like i did lol. i also see you are a steam player, dlcs are in steam's refund policy as long as it has under 2 hours of playtime and is refunded within 2 weeks of purchase. so, in theory, you could buy it and play it for an hour, and if you don't like it you can refund it

i forgot to mention the world itself. the aesthetics of it are gorgeous and it was beautiful to explore each tier through progression, but it is VERY empty. there are no nuls, instead there are owls scattered around. these owls don't move and you can only interact with a few of them for quests. cogimyun comes with zero visitors, but there are visitor cabins. the first tier of the world is the most lively, but tier 2 feels like an after-thought, and tier 3 may as well have not existed. tier 3 is only puzzles and i found it to be the most boring element of the dlc, which is unfortunate considering you'd expect it to be more fulfilling as the "grand finale."

once you have finished the dlc, the world feels a bit stagnant, and the lack of interaction you're given with it becomes very apparent. i wish there were small events like in the base game where the visitors hangout at a certain location together (like at the comedy club). there is an area in tier 1 that was used for a tea party and i half expected that to be where the hangout event would be held - but then it was literally never used again lol

Hi I am new to this community but I am stuck in wheat flour I cannot progress any further than sky &seek waypoint and cannot seem to find floven or floopy besides the fact my opals and diamonds seem to be non existent even with my many attempt of resetting items in wheat flour to hopefully have them appear. Got any ideas? I am aware you have to change to rain etc. but still not seeing the critters or gems I need. I’m at such a loss for what to do. I have 1 wheat heart left to find and I’ve gone through the whole wiki 3 times checking every single entry on the list and still haven’t found it! At this point I feel like it could be a bug because I feel like I’ve tried everything more than once! I know I’ve done all the lampposts because of the owl gifting me gems. I checked all the wheatheart photo and puzzle arch locations, can’t find any chests left, jumped through the tree, done the critter statue locations etc. I’m just at a loss for what to do and it’s so frustrating 😭

the lampposts are definitely something you should check. you get the wheathearts for lighting them. you get the gems for repairing them

they're different tasks. You could have repaired them all and not lit them all correctly

it the entire set isn't spinning with each group then something is off

Most of the time when people can’t find one, it’s one of the ones the wiki has shaded. Some of the chests are quite difficult to see, so if you were destroying them as you went along, you may have gone there, thought, “Don’t see one here,” and decided it was done when it wasn’t.

Legendary stuff is always hard to find or require certain conditions to be met. The creatures of legendary Wheatflour requires two weather conditions that rarely appear in Wheatflour.

Hm. Are you looking for extra ones? The game gives you 7 opals & diamonds for doing... certain things, which is exactly enough to make one wand and open both chests.

And you can change the weather manually once a week.

If you can transform into critters, you can get to the third area. You have to be able to turn into the Flockadoodler (chicken) and also several others to get to the level where Flubby can be found.

five. there's exactly five spawns of RF magazines each reset - that is assuming you picked up all issues from previous day; I have no idea what the behaviour of the game is if there are, for instance, 2 issues uncollected from previous day.

Using the island bouquet also works, but the 5 unit limitation applies - or at least it used to a few months ago, I've completed the collection already and haven't done any issue hunting lately.

Opals/Diam can be found if you play find Ebi fry once you finish the quest of helping Cogimyun find him. You can also get some when you play with ||Cogimyon|| but you unlock him much later. They can be found normally around WW but they’re a legendary rarity…. So it’s quite rare

Another way people have found success is by collecting all of the gems that normally spawn, then using an island bouquet to reset the items so they spawn in a second time. The issue is you have to collect every single gem in WW for this to possibly work. I wouldn’t recommend this method… as it’s not the easiest. This is an option though

You get 7 diamonds and 7 opals for doing certain things in the DLC. I don't want to spoil it for you, but you don't need to farm opals and diamonds from minigames if you just want to make a wand and open the chests.

1. Lighting a couple lampposts that are mostly hidden behind columns/objects — if a set of lampposts isn’t spinning, it’s not completed.
2. The chest back near the entrance of WW.
3. The chest behind the top of the left Citadel tower.
4. Jumping through the Wheatheart Tree.

So, I’m sure this has already been discussed before regarding the Wheathearts.

I have got 149/150 and I’ve been through the Wiki, IGN, multiple YouTube videos retracing every single step… and no luck finding the last one. I even contacted support via email as I feel convinced there is a glitch and one of my arches or lampposts hasn’t registered a wheatheart.

Has anyone else experienced this or has any advice? I’d be most grateful. Missing one is killing me as a completionist 😭😭😭🙏

Hi! A lot of people have been stuck on 149/150, but usually with help from others they were able to find the last ones.
You should check the little island chest down below from the café entrance, the chest behind the large tower to the left (by the big owl), and the tiny island on tier 3 by the floverns first.
It could also be that you missed to light one of the lamps- just fixing them isn’t enough, and also of them are hard to see if you have lit up or not

Try using the interactive map in the wiki, check a location one by one, make sure the lamp posts are all lit up and spinning etc

Someone had a theory that there could be a bug in which players who start spinning the fallen lamp post in the very NW corner of the third tier after getting the ones on the higher level (or maybe vice versa?) — and thus aren’t able to see that wheatheart when they’ve closed the whole set — might not register that wheatheart as completed. I don’t know that anyone has properly tested it though, and there’s no way to un-spin a lamppost once it’s spinning.

It should be automatically downloaded, but sometimes you need to either:

• Redownload it from the eShop, or
• Eject and reinsert the virtual card for the DLC.

Okay, I did the experiments. (Took a while because I had to catch a lot of critters to make the wands to get up to Sun Peak.) It appears that the fallen one is just spinning automatically now. The time I did the top ones first also worked just fine. So that’s not your issue.

What sucks is that it’s impossible to tell which one you might be missing. Some of them you can easily later verify having completed (e.g., bell garden, show found collectables photographs, arches), but some of them you really can’t.

There are 255 hats (including all color variations) in WW.

Only 7 require multiplayer.

Up to you. I got all the gems I needed (diamond and opal) by completing the tasks and finding the one time spawns. you do have to do all of the tasks at some point to get the wheathearts, so for me I'd rather spend my time doing that then grinding the minigame

hewwo so I was tryna figure out how to get all 7 diamond gemstones, but when reading the wiki it literally says 2 conflicting things. first it says you can get 7x diamonds from completing the story, but then when describing the methods it only has 6??? as in 2x from bell garden, 2x for lampposts, and 2x one-time spawns. I don't have to be a math teacher to know that 2 + 2 + 2 = 6, not 7

i'd use Cogimyun's ability when you make the wand and bring Tophat when you get the one-time pickups. those are your best shot of not having to do the minigames/wait to get your 7th

If you have the PDF, get that out and have it with you when you’re looking at the shaded “often missed” ones on the wiki. You should be able to get all the ones you’re missing that way or at least most of them.

The most common that people tend to miss:

1. Lighting a couple lampposts that are mostly hidden behind columns/objects — if a set of lampposts isn’t spinning, it’s not completed.
2. The chest back near the entrance of WW.
3. The chest behind the top of the left Citadel tower.
4. Jumping through the Wheatheart Tree.
5. Some of the photo locations are also tricky — be sure to turn on the "show photographed collectibles" option and check for a green checkmark.

there is no glitch preventing you from finding them all, but some wheathearts are really hidden away in impossible to see spots due to the camera angle

I have a question, I was playing multiplayer the other day and I did some puzzles? Like passing through the metal arch as a critter and got a wheatheart. Is this supposed to happen? Did I steal their wheatheart and they won't be able to complete it? I feel bad bc it def would be my fault. Or did we both get it? Because it definitely showed up on my screen as +wheatheart

You should be okay. Most of them only temporarily show up in the visitor’s inventory and vanish when they get home. I believe we were both able to keep the Bell Garden ones.

For me i missed a lamppost at dusty dunes! They were lit but not spinning and I had to used a diamond wand to activate the empty lampost! Maybe try there!
