It’s tricky. You need to float from Sun Peak, ideally with Cinnamoroll and Kuromi, and perhaps as a flider.

the bird near the tree has the same about 6 phrases. if you talk to him back to back, you will see all the different questions, are the lampposts spinning, are the lights in the bell garden lit, etc. the first one is the bell garden hence why everyone thinks he's telling them to go there, he isn't, he just has those certain phrases to tell you what gets you wheathearts, but it is not customized to anyone's game where he will tell you which one you're missing.

using a lucky star significantly increases the chance of opals and diamonds showing up in the minigames, catch cogimyon is the best way to farm them

and if you have no luck i'm sure there's people trading or giving them away in the multiplayer channels

You can also finish all the activities like repairing lamp posts, finish the bell garden etc, get to the top of the map, those will give you both diamonds and opals

As long as you have Switch Online and a decent internet connection, it's easy. You can go to either #1327454288284221553 or #1327454105441931305 and just ask for someone to give/trade with you a Mama's Pudding. I'd happily give you one, but I play on AA, and we can't trade across platforms. 🙁

The person will give you their multiplayer code or you can give them theirs, and then you just go in to their game (or they into yours). You have to take a selfie with the person the first time you meet them before they can gift you and claim your bead in Multiplayer Friendship. Then you just gift each other.

No. According to the notes on the wiki page for wands, the developers wanted to let the visiting players use the wands in multiplayer, but testing them kept finding ways to either break the host's progression or softlock them otherwise. And gifting them to characters outside of the Ultimate Wand for Cogimyun would lock the player out of content for multiple days depending on the rarity and costs of materials. And plus too, the wands are simply too costly to make.

I decided to turn my blunder with the simple bat bows into an item wand for Cogimyun’s “become a piece of clothing” daily quests. I made the same mistake with one of the non-dyeable Scholastic skirts and I’m wondering if I should just use them to make another item wand. Though that would still leave me with 7 of those freaking things…

Cogimyon's minigame (hard) and lots of good luck. As I said, it took me more than 300 tries and using a wish star to get them. Though opals also spawned on the map for me a couple of times.

I found the trick was to have both Keroppi and Popompourin as companions. That way I could jump high enough to gather the Floverns that my bubble wand caught.

Once you're Best Friends with all the characters (not Cogimyun, Usahana, Kiki, Lala, BC, or TopHat), you can do a quest after which you can go to the Island Spirit and ask Best Friends to pick stuff up every day, rather than having to go to them individually every day to ask them to do it.

I think some people are just missing it when it happens. If you're in a visitor cabin or doing something else when the rain starts up, it's really easy to miss it. 3/4 of the times I've had rain in WW, it's when I've been up there helping another discord user figure something out; I only noticed it because it started raining right on me.

We're less likely to miss rain on the main friendship island because we're in those biomes more often and also because it will show up in any biome when you look at the main map.

Melody #3 was supposed to be the easiest one to discover --- you just run through all of the arches in order!

When I was writing up the answer key, it was super simple: 12345678

Now here is the issue: my keyboard is not 100%. I bought myself that snazzy pastel rainbow 20th anniversary Cinnamoroll keyboard, and I drink chai a lot, and definitely spilled some chai on my keyboard, and it definitely got into some one of the number keys.

Specifically the 8.

And ever since my 8 key has been a little bit sticky.

So when I typed those numbers into the answer key, what actually came out was 123456788.

No one on the team thought to be like "Uh, Chelsea, did you mean to have two 8s in a row?" because, for better and for worse, the team sometimes assumes I just Have A Plan. Surely the double 8 means something. Surely there's some clue that makes it make sense. Surely it's part of the planned melody progression.

(Spoiler alert: it was not)

And because someone in the beta naturally ran through all the arches and then BACK through all of the arches, they quickly unlocked #3, so I assumed everything was right as rain!

It wasn't until the DLC launched that the true nuance became clear, and I did possibly the biggest facepalm of all of time.

.... AND my 8 key is still sticky.

You can use the rain machine but that targets a random place. Otherwise you can “reset” your weather in game. Once an undesirable weather type or rain in the wrong region occurs, exit and re enter the game and a new weather will be forecasted. Kiki and Lala will make this go by faster. Other then that the only way to get it faster would be to go to the giving away or trade channels

honestly there's a decent amount of content in the dlc and cogi's abilitys are kind of op.

some things are absolutely infuriating (waiting for weather) without multiplayer. it's strictly rng nonesense that is the largest downside to this game, so some people are luckier than others.

i honestly do feel badly for the switch/playstation people without multiplayer options because it does dramatically make things go smoother

I’ve been really enjoying it, it’s aesthetically pleasing and Cogi’s friendship abilities are great. The wands and the multiplayer options are a lot of fun for me. I’m getting more into the flower gardening so the extra space is fantastic too. There are a few quibbles or annoyances I have but that’s pretty much the case with most things. You can tell the designers and devs put a lot of time and care into it with all the little details

The quests are fine enough, and there are a couple of minigames (which you may or may not enjoy; one annoyingly is only multiplayer). So the people that don't enjoy flowers are sometimes annoyed with it. But for flower people, the DLC is amazing.

Opals have a few one-time spawns at the higher tiers of the map, and are also awarded to you once you complete fixing up things around WW like: completing the Bell Garden, Critter Temple and repairing all broken Lampposts

I got quite a few Opals by playing the Catch Cogimyon mini game with a Lucky Star active too ⭐

I passed through the location with my missing heart several times (I thought the chest was supposed to be on the tower) without realizing I hadn't found it... until I saw that screenshot I posted above showing the chest behind the tower

I used the interactive map on the wiki, just mark them as found as you go through them - this way they disappear from the map and it’s easier to find the actual missing one. I was missing the one behind the tower and the one almost on the top of map, all the way to the right where you need to jump past the flovern spawn

The hardest wheathearts to find for me were the ones that are on critter statues near the fountains, in between the citadel and wheatflower fields. you need the critter wands for the critters that go on the statues and jump on them the same way you do in the critter statues area on level 2.
also, jump through the wheatheart tree! hope thats helpful🫶🏻

you can get all the diamonds and opals you need by exploring and doing the large tasks in the area. you can also trade or grind Cogi but honestly it's faster to just do the tasks.

if you can I highly recommend trading for the critters you need if you haven't had weather luck

You guys arent gonna beleive this luck. I load into WW, going around collecting jemmies and such, then the game crashes. I go back, and find a Diamond in the right water fountain, head down to the display bushes, find a citrine, and an opal, then go up to the whatheart tree, coming back from the whatheart tree another diamond spawned next to the time trial. 2 diamonds, 1 opal, 1 citrine, then i go to play Find Cogimyun, win the first game on hard, and the next hard prize is a diamond. I had a 3 diamond day

The Lucky Star mostly only leads to better gems in Catch Cogimyon. In Find Ebi-Fry, it mostly gives furniture.

I think if you restart she will come back to a reachable area. I had that happen to me but when she came down, I had the right wand so I could keep going once she came back. You can also get to her right side using kuromi pompom, but if you made no gem wands it won't matter and given her dialogue you may get stuck anyway.

i always grind on find cogimyon with lucky star activated. in about 50 rounds I could get about 2-3 opals & diamonds

You can get them through the games in WW, especially at the hard level. It took me a while…a lot of games. I did about 200, but the finding the right critter game it is not so difficult to find him now that they appear to have fixed that.

the glitter Wheatflowers are specifically given for the quest, and multiple people have used them on other instructions first
the only solution would be fertilizing Wheatflowers yourselves or trading for them in multiplayer channels 😦
