to put into perspective how slow leveling Cogimyun gets:
i reached lvl 25 with her 8 days ago (21/9), since then all i have been giving her are her 3 hearts gifts, plus any friendship blossoms/bouquets i got from My Melo in the meantime i used and gifted her even more 3 heart gifts, and this is where i am at (and yes i always used Hello Kitty as my companion when gifting her)

Alright, I’m working on the quest A Heart of Grain But I don’t have the DIY for Flower Crown yet since I’m not at level 16 with Wish Me Mel. The problem is I already started the quest, so now I can’t do any other quests with Cogimyun because she’s locked into it. And I also can’t do anything else with Wish Me Mel since she’s stuck on it too. So basically I’m stuck. I still need to level up my friendship with Wish Me Mel one more time, but that takes forever because the friendship goes up super slowly. So what am I supposed do?

There's some RNG as well- the daily quests contribute a sizeable chunk of friendship exp, so if you've been getting Cogimyon or Ebifry missions instead of Cogimyun, that can put you behind a bit.

I don’t know that anyone has done the careful experiment the original person did to check.

i've noticed the WW daily quests aren't always targeted to cogimyun, and hence have no affect on raising her friendship 🤔 got the "become a flockadoodler" request, I did it, didn't get the "+ friendship" popup. took a closer look, and it was cogimyon who had "asked"

so what's really the point? the ones that come from cogimyun do raise her friendship, but this one, and ones from ebi fry, give us no reward

Not really :< I can say I had a lot better luck on these islands I've circled. I used this map (not mine, found it in here) but found I had better luck just a bit lower down.

Just kept running in circles tbh. I also maybe suggest, when falling (I fell a lot), that because it takes so long for you to hit the bottom of the map, you're able to open the map, and fast travel to the mailbox above (if you have it unlocked, I did, I cheesed it), and that cut time wasted down a bit

But yeah, the spawn rate is so meh. I'd notice them really high up above the islands when I'd balloon back down from using the fast travel mailbox

It sounds like you’re still early on in WW, you should be able to progress decently without it for the time being, as annoying it is to have force fields you can’t get rid of!

If you have any that are near owl statues if they have opals you can use them (also don’t forget if you give an owl statue a gem, you can remove it when you’re finished… I didn’t realise that and had to go back and get all my gems)

about the wheathearts, i did the rounds for all chests, photos, arches and lamps, i got all chests, photos, majority of the arches and without the item wands (5 total) i'm still short 5 😭 i already did the bell puzzle, the only thing i'm questioning are the shapes written in some of the walls or the ground in certain places, i thought those were the clues for the bell puzzle but i could be wrong? also i know not all lamps give a wheatheart because they light up with any wand... what am i missing?

I believe the reason folks may be seeing weather not appearing is because it is a factor of two different levels of randomness: type of weather and region. So it decreases the probability of the right weather happening in the “right” place whenever a new location is added, since it’s another variable to contend with. But that’s just my perspective

And I’m pretty sure the weather events are independent variables, so whatever the last weather was and where it was located does not have an effect on the next instance

So sorry it was a problem for ne too so this is how I was able to catch more.|| Get keroppi and pompompurin and use thermal potions to get even higher. Hope it helps they do spawn higher the normal so having the thermal potions made it much easier||
