They'll work for her since she is like any other resident. The fact they'll stock you up on Bouquets and Blossoms proves it.

Chelsea said that Hello Kitty will refill your Friendship Bouquets and Friendship Blossoms if they aren't at their maximum, so you do not need to hoard them.
Side note, but Cogimyun is the character we can befriend; Cogimyon is her little brother. I bet a lot of people will be confusing the names.

A tip for switch and pc players , closer to September 18 save all of your bouquets and flowers for Usahana , You’ll get some from Hello Kitty for Cogimyun Wheatflour Wonderland if you get the DLC , So make sure you still have extra for Usahana in city town!

I don’t think it will replace Gudetama. I think it’s just part of the Wonderland world, because they are named Wheathearts and everything is wheat there, wheat flowers and wheat dragons, and we also enter this portal/door in the café to get there and for anyone else that doesn’t buy the DLC, it would feel weird to them, suddenly see Wheathearts everywhere in their game, if they don’t own the DLC 😊
We also already had Gudetamas in City Town and the sewers, so when the second island expand, I’m pretty sure we will see more Gudetamas all over the island 😉🩵

150 kinda proves Wheatflour Wonderland's area might be pretty big. Wheathearts are probably going to be the Gudetamas of the new area.

I think it’s because of when you find Gudetamas and snap a picture of them, they count towards the goal on the Gudetama board, you run to with Pochacco to get rewards. So let’s say you have found 50 Gudetamas + 20 in WW, you would have 70, but for the people that doesn’t get the DLC, they would only have the 50 and would be missing the 20. Ofc they can collect the 20 in a future update, but so can the people with the DLC too. So they would always be 20 Gudetamas behind the people with the DLC 😄
So it doesn’t add up in the end, so I think that’s maybe why 😊🩵

Sunblink isn't exactly small, especially working with Sanrio. I mean they have over half the amount of developers on GameFreak.

They might be able to qualify for a Switch 2 version, but as it stands now it's kind of a small priority considering that the amount of players on switch 2 is probably extremely small, not enough people to warrant making it.

1, As for the GameFreak numbers I had two separate teams mixed up, that's my bad.

2, I'm not advocating for it to get an expansion, I don't even own a switch 2, my point is it's kinda disingenuous to call a AA Studio thats partnered with the Company that owns the 2nd-4th most popular multi-media franchise in human history, 'small'.

When I think small, I think of indie devs, and I kinda get annoyed when people over-shoot what is and isn't classified as 'indie' for personal reasons.

That's fair, people often confuse the two. Indie and small don't mean the same things though. Small just means there aren't that many employees. Yes around 50 people is definitely larger than most indie studios but they still aren't a large studio by any classification. Even in AA standards that's the low end of the amount of employees.

I get people tend to think indie when they think of a small studio but they aren't synonymous - having to allocate people to an upgrade does take them away from doing other tasks and the smaller the team is, frequently the focus is more narrow.

I'm not arguing with you and they may eventually make the upgrade, but I doubt it would be a top priority. I have also heard that Nintendo is being particularly choosy about the development kits. Now that it's released it should open up but I'm not sure that it has yet

Might be a hot take, but I don't know if making the upgrade is constructive at all. Not only with the percent of switch 2 players, some of which may not even want it, and the inherit controversial nature of the upgrades, I don't see a reason to invest in it. At least not for a while.

And yeah I've actually expressed concerns about Sunblink wearing themselves thin myself when the PS5 version dropped, I agree they aren't large, I just wanted to make the distinction clear.

Apparently, there's going to be something you can only get in multiplayer mode again. The multiplayer minigame says it all.
I don't understand that. Not everyone likes multiplayer.
My granddaughter isn't allowed to interact with strangers online (she plays on Switch), and I'm too old to get annoyed by trolls or gremlins or whatever you call them. I've only had bad experiences in the past (I play on Steam), so we can't get certain things or achieve achievements that require multiplayer. Therefore, I won't be buying the DLC. Too bad. Otherwise, I enjoyed the game. 😭

tbh the multiplayer community (at least the steam one, i have no experience with other platforms) is super sweet in this server, not once did i have a bad experience playing with someone from here

i played with quite a lot of people ranging from experienced players to complete newbies and everyone is always really kind and sweet

That may be true, but I've become very "shy" when it comes to playing with strangers, and it's also the way this multiplayer works. You can't communicate in the game, and I only use Discord on my PC, where I also play. That seems really annoying and impractical to me when you have to say something to each other. To be honest, if I had known that Hello Kitty had certain things where multiplayer was required, I would never have bought the original game. That's why there's no DLC for me and my granddaughter.

also those puzzles are quite intuitive, i managed to do them so many times without talking that much with the other person

certain levels give you a way of communicating with the other person in game to navigate them where to go

but i do believe sunblink said they will never again add content specifically locked behind mulitplayer only, for that exact reason that many people dont want to do it

I don’t think we ever said this. The people who enjoy multiplayer deserve to have interesting and meaningful gameplay and rewards. We added in the Keroppi question so that people who don’t like multiplayer never have to see anything associated with multiplayer. We still love gameplay that brings players together though and do want this game to have things that are enhanced by playing with friends and family.

Being able to do the multiplayer activities that are available is the main thing that has kept my husband interested in playing the game. He likes the puzzle rooms and the big quests and new areas, but those only come along so often. The weekly Adventuring Together quest and playing minigames — and shared autopickup of resources — makes HKIA a game we can enjoy together.

multiplayer was what cured my burnout, back when i started playing i would only play by myself and it always felt like its just same thing on repeat every day, but once i started doing multiplayer quests with people from here, hosting my shops, it felt so refreshing and i started being genuinely excited to play the game every day and play with so many different people

I myself don't play multiplayer - and I don't really feel locked out of stuff. Sure there's a few of the achievements that will be forever not completed, but all in all, I have access to everything else in the game. The deluxe edition solved the issue of past event items.

I did emphasize to the team that any achievements related to MP need to be hidden if you’ve opted out; so theoretically you’ll (or well, anyone who said no to Keroppi) never see anything that has to do with the WW multiplayer minigame. 🤞🏽 So it won’t harsh the completion vibes for solo folks.

I think I misunderstood your question. I initially accepted Keroppi's multiplayer until I realized it wasn't cross-platform and I couldn't play with my granddaughter. Only then did opt out. The weekly multiplayer quest never reappeared, but the achievements in the basement library are still visible.

You can only opt out of multiplayer with keroppi if you havent done the first quest "friends from afar" as you have already done it you can no longer opt out of the weekly multiplayer quest. Only thing you can do now is to just ignore it if you dont want to do it

With friends from afar, you opt out so keroppi doesn't talk about it everytime you go to talk to him
