What is the most annoying situation you encountered in HKIA?

For me, when we finished some quest, the characters occasionally disappears right in front on oof our faces when they finished talking. And I think this is really disrespectful and so out of character.

The mermaid ones are my favorite naturally. That’s the one thing I’m jealous about with AA, they get a fun looking icon for the game for each event, whereas console and PC is lucky to get a different title screen.

I'm actually glad the game icon for switch isn't just a VERY zoomed in pic of HK's face anymore now... it was when i first bought the game in august last year, but eventually it got changed to the same pic they also used as the box art of the physical game version. Which i much prefer bc it includes the name of the game and tbh HK's face taking up 90% of the image is HUGE if you're playing on a tv like me 😂

It’s the actual loading screens I wish everyone got to see. This one for city town lasted for like two weeks and was gorgeous

They change for events and big updates just as frequently as the icon on Apple Arcade.

do you play on apple arcade too or just switch? It was the loading screen on apple between the 2.15 and 2.15.5 updates. I wish the other platforms got to see them change as frequently, but i get why they don't with the update schedule

Maybe a work around would be they could let us pick our title screen from a list? I assume most things have a title screen by now since the game has been out for a couple of years.

Yes, most things have title screens. Apple Arcade usually gets a change to the title screen + icon with their X.X.0 updates (content updates, every 6 weeks) and again with a .5 update (just for event aesthetics + bug fixes). These are basically timed for the primary + secondary events.

The title screen for the Month of Meh, for example, came with version 2.15.5. That one had different gudetama floating through the water at the bottom of the screen.

It wouldn't hurt to make a feedback thread for it. Even on Apple Arcade, I wish the Meh title screen lasted longer, but 2.16.0 replaced it with an Under the Sea themed one instead.

Usually we get a new mix of the music along with these new title screens.

Yeah on switch we only get to see a few of those (basically the ones for the event that's happening when a CU drops) and they sometimes stick around longer than the event bc we get less frequent updates.
It would definitely be nice if we could change that ourselves instead of the update schedule deciding it for us.
