Anthony Gordon to FC Barcelona genuinely makes way more sense than people think. Barça need wingers that actually run and press instead of disappearing after losing the ball and Gordon is basically a demon when it comes to pressing. Bro presses like rent is due, constantly annoying defenders, forcing mistakes and helping win the ball back high up the pitch which is literally perfect for Flick’s system. And in attack he’s always active too, nonstop runs, attacking space, driving forward instead of slowing everything down with safe passes. Against low blocks Barça sometimes look stiff as hell and Gordon’s movement would help a lot with that.
