#How do I change the Cobblemonrider mod settings so that my Pokémon are available for mounting?
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Go to your BCG Modpack and click on it (Not play)
Click on the three dots next to play
Go to Profile Options
Ok
Select the checkmark to Allow content management
And save?
Click on "Add more content"
Type in Cobblemonriders in the search bar and select "Install"
After it is done you should be able to launch, and pokemon that are able to be ridden or flown will work. You should be able to mount by right-clicking the pokemon and dimount with "k". If k doesn't work, I recommend checking your keybinds
ty zandria
once it has been added to the profile it should work
I can't click "install"
I'll take a look
Do you know a mod for Ash Greninja?
And mods that you recommend?
I do not, sorry
Np
@nimble whale If I don't have the "fly" move it won't work, right?
It doesnt need fly
If it isnt working, try uninstalling Cobblemonriders and redoing the steps I showed
is there any key to fly?
Hold space bar
If after uninstalling and reinstalling it isnt working, check to make sure your key binds are bound
Ive never tried, but I assume probably here
@nimble whale I uninstalled and installed it, but when I press the space bar on Pokemon, nothing happens
And your sure you installed it onto the BCG+ profile and not seperately?
yes 🥹
then Im not sure what to say, I would try looking it up online and see what it says
It worked for me and everyone in my server
If it doesn't bother you
Lol I'm saying you should go on google and look up other people who have had the same problem
We do not recommend using CurseForge Launcher.
Use ?launcher to see a range of alternative launchers and recommendations.
Why don't we recommend the CurseForge Launcher?
The CurseForge Launcher is built on the Overwolf desktop platform, which is infamous for slowing down your PC, and consistently fails as a platform to update modpacks correctly. Overwolf has been caught making constant background network requests (even when closed) to share data collected about you and your device (pc specs, what programs you have installed/open, your zip code & approximate location, and more), and is often flagged by antivirus software due to its nature as an adware platform.
While CurseForge serves you ads for the purpose of generating revenue for platform creators (which we also benefit from), Overwolf collects personal information about you & your device, and shares it with third-party companies, which is a major breach of your privacy. Despite Overwolf's Privacy Policy claiming that you can "opt-out" of data collection, these tools don't actually work, since they rely on the advertising platforms themselves to act in good faith (in an unverifiable manner), providing no proof or reassurance that you actually opted-out at all.
If, for some reason, you need to use the CurseForge Launcher, we recommend you set up a free, network-based ad-blocking solution like PiHole or AdGuard Home to prevent Overwolf from collecting information on you.
How do you do it 😭
I have a ton of friends that used prism to install the mod, so I can attest that it does work
Look up prism launcher
?launcher
We recommend
Prism Launcher as our primary choice of modpack launcher, as it's easy to use and supports a wide range of complex features that make modpack management a breeze!
For a quick guide on how to install a pack using Prism Launcher, use ?install.
We also provide support for
ATLauncher.
We do not recommend you use
CurseForge Launcher, for the reasons outlined in ?cf.
We cannot guarantee that we will be able to provide support if you use any other launchers, as we may be unfamiliar with them.

How to install Mayview with Prism Launcher
(This tutorial is for Prism Launcher only. Image below)
- Download/install
Prism Launcher - Sign in with your Minecraft/Microsoft account in the top right of the main window
- Click "Add Instance" in the top left
- Select "CurseForge" from the pane on the left and search for "Mayview"
- Select the pack with the ✨Joena Lisa✨ pack icon, and hit "OK"
- When prompted, you will need to download some files manually, as these have explicit licenses that prohibit third-party launchers from downloading them automatically.
Click "Open Missing" from this prompt and open each tab in your browser, then wait for all files to download - Return to the prompt window and make sure the bottom left says "✔︎ All mods found", then hit "OK"
- Upon completion of the installer, double-click the "Mayview" instance in the client or press "Launch"

But would I lose my worlds in BCG?
Not if you just move the saves folder to the prism instance
How do you do that? My intelligence for that is less than that of a monkey.
Go to the instance folder copy the folder that is called saves
Copy it and paste it in no place of the saves folder on the prism instance
I'll try in a little while, I have to do some work
Okay
@icy gorge I followed the tutorial, put the BCG, Cobblemonrider and etc, but what I was worried about happened
When I click on "Solo", my worlds don't appear
Yeah
You have to move the folder called saves from the curseforge instance of BCG into the prism instance of BCG which transfers the “saves” / worlds to the other pack
Can you send me a video?
Oh, ok
