I'm having an issue with recipes not working as intended. I'm playing BCG+ on a server with some friends, and the only non-official mod we have added is radical cobblemon trainers. As far as I know I have all required datapacks, see attached ss. For the wallet, and all other items in the BCG mod( the mod, NOT the whole pack) do not show any recipes on mei when I click on them. Additionally, and I'm not sure if this is connected or a separate issue, but many recipes from every compat DO show a recipe but cannot be crafted. I have tried crafting in inventory, in tom's, regular crafting tables, and backpack crafter; I've also tried to both do the recipe organically and complete it from MEI by pressing the plus. I know a handful of recipes are missing/unable to be used, but I'm not sure exactly how many or how to even find that out without going through every individual recipe in the pack which isnt really feasible. Thanks!

not seeing any screenshots. how is the server being run?
sorry it didnt attach. we're using a server host, I'm not the owner myself but I have OP. I dont remember the name of the host, but I know it's not a mainstream one like bisect or apex. If that's necessary info I can ask the owner later and update
what java version do you have
version 8 update 381 (build 1.8.0_381-b09)
?cf
Swap to prism and you can use it to install the proper java versions just temporarily

We do not recommend using the CurseForge launcher.
The CurseForge Launcher is built on the Overwolf platform, which is known for being an adware/spyware/bloatware platform. The CurseForge Launcher also persistently has issues updating packs, causing instances of desync where the pack differs from the standard. This creates issues where different players who think they are "on the same version" may experience different mod configurations, different mods being loaded, and different data pack load orders. If any of these things differ from the standard version of the pack, you will not be able to play with other players or join standard version servers. You may even experience world corruption in your single-player saves.
We recommend you switch to Prism Launcher (most user-friendly!) or ATLauncher for the best and most stable experience.
An Open Source Minecraft launcher with the ability to manage multiple instances, accounts and mods. Focused on user freedom and free redistributability.
ATLauncher is a simple and easy to use Minecraft launcher which contains many different modpacks for you to choose from and play.
Or you can just use it as the main launcher thing
I'll stick with what I've got for now but I'd like to know why my recipes are messed up. Am I on the wrong java version? I'm running the game fine otherwise
A few questions for my knowledge, is that screenshot from the server? Also what are some of the recipes so I can possibly look into it. Last can you post a copy of your latest.log?
Yes it is and I can share any other screenshots necessary. All recipes from BigChadGuys(wallet, half joe coin, etc) have NO recipe. I click on them in MEI and nothing happens.
I thought recipes for other items weren't working, but that was user error. Turns out a few recipes require specifically oak fences and I didnt look closely enough :P
I just wanted to make sure on the screenshot since it is loading the packs through the global mod and most of the server install scripts that I have seen have a botched copy of the server pack. As for the recipes I have to dig around since I am fairly certain those recipes are in the BCG Datapack (it has been a while so I have to check) and your SS is showing it is installed
Just lied to you, the recipes are in the kubejs folder. Do you have access to the server file manager?
I would doublecheck all the kubejs files are there and probably just replace the files anyway to be sure.
yeah, definitely. do you know where I can easily grab a copy of the kubejs?
