What version of the Java runtime are you using? (Java 17, 18, 21...): 1.8.0_411

Have you allocated 6GB of RAM or higher? (Y/N): Y

Describe the issue: After playing coop with my girlfriend earlier in the day, i tried logging into my world solo just now, but the world is all void, and my inventory is empty, im not able to walk around or anything, and in the screenshot provided, the questbook also isnt working (i got it to work after restarting a bunch but my quest progression was wiped. I have tried repairing the modpack, restarting, how do i save this world? it doesnt even show my skin in my inventory

Steps you've taken in effort to resolve this issue: Repaired modpack in cursed forge. Created a new world to see if modpack was corrupted (the world loaded and created just fine). Restarted PC and minecraft.

We do not recommend using the CurseForge launcher.
The CurseForge Launcher is built on the Overwolf platform, which is known for being an adware/spyware/bloatware platform. The CurseForge Launcher also persistently has issues updating packs, causing instances of desync where the pack differs from the standard. This creates issues where different players who think they are "on the same version" may experience different mod configurations, different mods being loaded, and different data pack load orders. If any of these things differ from the standard version of the pack, you will not be able to play with other players or join standard version servers. You may even experience world corruption in your single-player saves.
We recommend you switch to Prism Launcher (most user-friendly!) or ATLauncher for the best and most stable experience.

iirc You just need 3 of them:
Java 8 for below 1.17
Java 17 for 1.17 to 1.20.4
Java 21 for 1.20.5 upwards unless otherwise changed

rightclick the bcg modpack or press the 3 dots

and press open folder

#

go to saves

#

and just stop there

#

on prism launcher there should be a button to open folder

#

press it and go to the saves folder over there

#

now select all the folders in the curseforge saves folder and drag it over

you suggested that they switched to a different launcher entirely when the world could of been fixed

i believe you should focus on the main issue before turning to everything else
