Which modpack are you using? (BCG+, BCG+NC, BCGHG): BCG+
Have you modified the pack in any way? (i.e. Adding or removing mods): A couple minor one. Step up and one I can't recall that chops trees in one go.
What version of the modpack are you using? (1.1.16HF, 1.1.15, 1.1.14...): Not sure how to tell. (Other admin put it together. ) MC version is 1.20.1
What version of the Java runtime are you using? (Java 17, 18, 21...): Server side is 21
Have you allocated 6GB of RAM or higher? (Y/N): 12gb on the server. 8-12gb on client.
If playing with others, what method is being used to host/join the server? : Hosting on an admittedly not great processor for game hosting. E5-2697 V4

Describe the issue: So having issues with lag. Most noticeable when eating. It finishes the eating animation but if you don't hold down for another 1-2 seconds it won't finish eating.
Best we can tell is it has something to do with toms storage. We have a level 4 beacon. As soon as we unload the chunk with our storage everything magically gets better.
Oddly enough running /sparkc tps returns values of 20 or as close to not matter. But this lag is global for everyone.
Anny recommendations for improving things other than get rid of toms?
At one point we put a ton of stuff in magical bags. It helped for a bit but the problem came back.
