when you click on build then by default it will be gemmni pro api and then you have to write prompt your idea then base on your prompt idea studio will add models whatever it is

i need to have a python environment inside my project , but google ai studio couldnot able to handle it , so just to use that am i allowed to make an api call of outside sources?

Then you can simple click on Nano banana model

If you want make seprate then copy the code and do chages in your own env using another transformaer by huggingface but it will take more time.

Yeah but at the time of testing it, generating an image from my app in AI Studio using nano banan pro, it's asking for an API Key because it is not covered by the free tier.

but maybe you need to refresh your studio using logout and log again maybe there some issues

Nano Banana works fine (gemini 2.5) but nano banan pro (gemini 3) is the one asking for the api key

Yeah, I had to redo my submission because of the Gemini 3 API key requests. Reimagine your project, what can you drop and what's working right that you can build up. Good luck! 🙂

I am trying to implement the idea fro my app using Gemini 3 for Google DeepMind's hackathon ending on 12th Dec. I think my idea might be too complicated/ advanced for Gemini to implement on its own. I might need to write code which will take me some time to execute. If I submit the version of the app I get from Gemini in the hackathon, will I be at a disadvantage during evaluation?
