I will admit, I am suffering from a bit of "Imposter Syndrome" as the first 20-30 years of my adult life were as a mechanic in the US Air Force and then the last decade has been with various different industries and careers. Hi all! My name is Khida, and I’m currently pursuing a career with data. I accidentally fell into it when working for a small chain of mom and pop stores that wasn’t utilizing past sales data to make future decisions with inventory and sales plans. At the time, I didn’t know this was a whole career field. I ended up using the three years of data we had, shuffled through it all to find patterns, and developed new systems for inventory and sales, plus a restructure to the rewards system. While not a huge number, we saw a 27% increase in profits and much higher per customer averages after one quarter of implementing my strategies. I had experience in Java from high school which helped me grasp Python and R quickly, and I was already a bit of an obsessive user of Google Sheets and Excel for tracking personal systems like my budget and habits. I’ve picked up SQL and Tableau as well, and I’m working on a degree currently. I still feel I have much to learn, but I hope I can soon find my footing, my passion, and my overall career goals through networking with other professionals and learners.

I started my journey as a Product manager (FMCG) straight out of school, afterwards I got noticed by a Private Security company where I got a job as an Operations Trainers, the company dissolved after a short while. After which I took some time to get certified in Retail Operations, Services and Sales by the Government of India. I have also, led a team of 104 people with 4 different departments focusing on human operations that led to staggering revenue generation of $100K per day for the retail brand, because I focus on people first since they are the front-runners of the organization. I believe in taking care of your people who in-turn will take care of the organization. Come post-covid I traversed to e-commerce manager thanks to my digital marketing skills that i acquired when I started my journey which led my to work with Ebay -dot- com. My last position was of an Operations Manager for a Travel based Startup where I was the most senior person in the organization taking care of Management and daily Operations. Mental health took a toll and i had to take a step back. Now that I've fully connected with myself, i have come back with full strength and unable to find a job. hihijihihhihiih i am a 15 year old from kansas city missouri that loves machine learning & makes projects all the time. i know 3 main languages, python, C, & JS but i'm currently learning C++ for robotics in my sophmore year & kotlin for apps. I'm proficient in PyTorch & i'm also learning tensorflow right now and made my first ever cnn model with it that can guess if a picture is a cat or dog with around >95% accuracy!!! i also know how to use pandas and numpy, & know many model architectures like lstm, resnet, regular cnns, etc. if you want to network with me, just send me a dm of some sort, i dont have linkedin yet :'(
