Good Afternoon Everyone. I have introduced myself before. But after I joined, there are many newcomes in this community. So I will re-introduce myself.

My name is Isham. I have been working as ML Engineer for last 2 years in Dubai. My expertise includes in Generative AI - Fine Tuning and Serving Models as API which includes text to speech, speech to text, image generation and LLMs - build use cases using the state of the art framework - langchain - both closed source models such as OpenAI and Claude and open source models - llama2, Mixtral, Deepseek-coder etc. Also have done fine tuning of open source model - Mistral 7B for our use case using Unsloth library. I have also experience in classical machine learning where I was involved in training models for sustainability use cases.

I am one of the first Machine Learning, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Top Voice on Linkedin - August 2023 to Present. Recently, my open sourced project was also featured on Hugging Face.

Previously, I was working in telecom industry in Etisalat for 3 years. I am holder of BEng. Electrical & Electronics Engineering degree from Heriot Watt University and MBA in Finance and Operations . I have been residing in UAE for last 27 years as I have grown up here and completed all of my education here.

Hey there! I came from different backgrounds and lately was mostly into Javascript and React front-end development until I took a course of introduction into Machine Learning, and that got my attention.
