Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has given Anthropic until Friday to agree to broad military access for its AI models, according to a source.
Hegseth set the Friday deadline during a meeting with Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei.
If Anthropic fails to comply, Hegseth threatened to label the company a “supply chain risk” or invoke the Defense Production Act, the person said.
