This thread is meant to show the ridiculous amount of damage that Cyte can achieve with the Sobek with an optimal setup
This functions is meant too show the final damage of the Sobek before considering faction weaknesses or damage falloff
All variables are listed on the image if you find any incoherence let me know 
The following graph was done in accordance too these builds
Considering a Cyte with 5 tau elec shards with a Jade and a Wisp hitting a 3.93544 roar, (final damage may be higher on average when linked since it increases weapon damage and resupply strength, shock trooper should always be casted on link) The sobek used for this test has a 60% valence bonus.
This graph ignores the use of both nourish and shock trooper
It is also worth considering that we're talking of a single pellet of the weapon, YES a single pellet: this only serves too show the stupidity of Cyte's damage.
Even crazier is the fact that the build on the sobek lacks a mod (that should be reserved for rivens)
Considering that the strongest enemies on the game have arround 54 milion EHP we can confidentily say that Cyte doesn't care about enemy scaling.
Furthermore all damage buffing aside from roar is kinda pointless on him as well as the use of galvanized savvy since you won't be hitting your second pellet either way.
This just serves too show that the most important part of playing Cyte is having a Wisp that knows how too re link 
If we fix Cyte's strength at 400% (a rather conservative value) and plot with fb as our changing variable we get the following
Left value is the damage without roar while right is with a 3.93544 roar (that should be the average value of roar with a Jade)
Still worth considering is that Multishot is the most valuable riven stat, not because of it's damage potential, rather for the increased probability of hitting an enemy.
btw i'm too lazy too do the acid shells calculations (i refuse too go into enemy max health calculations and damage falloff of acid shells), just get some electric damage, faction bonuses and strength too nuke 
Oh and for the funnies just know that a headshot of the sobek can easily reach damage cap 
Oh yeah if you see lower numbers in mission it's just cause this calculations take into account all 3 sobek hits (inital hit, resupply, electric proc fromr resupply) so if the first hit kills the next 2 won't be displayed at all.
in this function there is a .9 instead of a 1.9 for status damage, all graphs were made with the fixed function, just forgot too update the ss

Sobek math excel. You can somewhat calculate expected dmg with electric resupply with this.

i had a small mistake on the function, overall damage got slightly up

Any sobek valence bonus can be used?
Yes
going form 25% to 60% valence is a 28% dmg increase so while it is not small, its not a dealbreaker
Got today toxin sobek 54%, at end of week will try this setup
54 is goodge. It valences to 60% with a single valence
According to the guide, the state should be magnetic, or am I wrong? And the other thing, should this state be changed by faction? - I usually only have the primed ones for each faction.
I run tox for grineer (unless im running with sar) and cold for the rest
Usually the valence doesn't have any real effect asides the %
Just avoid toxin with a Saryn too avoid a bug that deletes your damage

Alongside @marsh estuary we tested Resupply on Client and discovered even more quirks on it's behavior:

Resupply is based on the recipient strength not the casters, so if for example a teammate let's say a Baruuk picks up resupply, it's strength will be based on Baruuks strength instead of Cyte's.

Resupply won't proc on Acid shells on Client or on Host if the Host isn't playing Cyte and picks up a resupply from a Client Cyte, it will always work as intended on Host Cyte tho, even if the ammo comes from a Client Cyte.
- Resupply behaves differently with faction damage on client
Faction damage calculation for Host:
-First hit: faction multipliers apply once [damage x (1+faction)]
-Second hit: faction multipliers apply twice [damage x (1+faction)^2]
-Third hit: faction multipliers apply thrice [damage x (1+faction)^3]
Faction damage calculation for Client:
-First hit: faction multipliers apply once [damage x (1+faction)]
-Second hit: faction multipliers apply once [damage x (1+faction)]
-Third hit: faction multipliers apply twice [damage x (1+faction)^2]
This explains the lackluster damage that we see with weapons such as Boar/Strun/Sobek on Client

oh yh the big takeout from this testing is that Xatas has quite similar dmg too non normal Cyte so it might be the only really viable fix for client

adjusted the boar calc
dmg is still viable but noticeably worse
added a 1 blast detonate dmg
generally 1 or 2 pellets is inuf to get a kill and proc the blast explosion so 1 blast proc detonation seems like a fair minimum dmg

You can feel the dmg loss in w90, but you can kill to w102w fine

yes it's really good now. i was cyting with 200+ ping, 350% haste mote, and i barely feel any resupply delay. good fix fr 
except for the fps drop bug from boar client where everytime i shoot my fps goes down to 20. maybe it's just because of my bad pc parts (gpu&cpu)

The thing with old games is, you wanna offset some of the potential load from the cpu to the gpu, 4x helped me gain like 10 fps or more for sure, but yeah, cpu is the crux there (got the joke ? )
the boar lag was also a lil better iirc, but might be also map and entity bound
(kala was atrocious / paimon too, but worse with higher haste normally)

I had always good fps before patch. Even with 550% motes
i remember before patch my fps would tank running strun
the general fps drop when shooting enemy packs is cpu bound ..
the bug , but is kinda cpu independant, just worse(more frequent on worse cpus yep)
but yeah thats also why i complained about auto inarnon as big drops force the incarnon to activate somehow xd
