Hi, aldo right now i consider my self decently aware of the arbitration meta, theres still a lot of things i need to improve or learn for sure. That being said, theres also many thing im now capable of teaching and explaining the other players that r new to arbitration meta. Knowing that, i entered some teaching runs to experience how things work in that cenario and i got really disapointed, people r doing it just to get goon, wich is totally understandable, but with that in mind they just ask for green names to join and literally carry them on awfull runs. Besides that, as they r already playing almost alone, they cant teach mutch by texting mid gameplay. Basicly this new era withought arbifessores and people needing to teach to get goons seemed to me like a good idea but in practice i dont think anyone is getting better with this. That being said, i also thought of a way to improve this. Ofcourse the logistic is not all thought but basicly my idea is to turn teaching runs more of an example being showed. What i want you to consider is turning teaching runs where experienced people like arbismaster and experts in a specific frame stream their gameplay and anser questions in call. I know this rases another bunch of problems, but i think its an idea to consider. Please let me know what you think of this.

I agree, at a minimum they should be changed to "practice runs" and not teaching. There isnt much teaching that goes on in those runs.

Teaching runs that are being done now are just questions answered mid run and before and end

What your saying is valid, although what your suggesting would be horrific to moderate, and I think a lot of players would learn better actually playing

That’s what I was told during my runs

It also on the player wanting to be taught they can learn a lot from just watching

I agree that moderating this and cheking if its actually being done is almost impossible or to mutch demanding for the people who would have to check

I get what you r saying but i dont think that Will make it mutch betterr, the runs would BE more awfull if the person teaching need to do it by text. But that would BE and improvement fs. Idk, also Im saying this based on that way that i have learn wich was by playing but beeing in a discord call and with players showing me exames of how to do thing before hand

Your right, people would learn more in vc that’s how I learned as well, but some people arnt comfortable going in vc then what? Also people would learn half the things they do ask from just reading the guide as well

Exactly, a lot of people are using these teaching runs as practise runs

Teaching doesn't have to be in mission, they can do by inspecting the run before, 'sacrificing' few seconds of dps to show new dps player where to shoot, give advice during voting (between 5 waves) etc

If those can be displayed in the ss it'll be easier to check that the teaching run went appropriately

Learning how to play well just takes practise and people doing normal runs is a better thing to do once you have the absolute basics down

Yeah i'm not saying that teaching has to be perfect but showing the end result ss for teaching run is plausible

I think green names Often dont ask because they dont even know what they r doing wrong. When i first started i thought that 100+ haste was good and would not have ask for anything if i didnt got criticized by it. Maybe not changing que teaching runs but add the possibility that a teaching Run can just BE experienced players showing a Run and explain in VC if both the teacher and the student prefer it to BE that way

Today i tested this, did my first teaching Run, and told wisp to Hop in VC

It worked out good, but again Thats dificult to moderate

I undesrtand where you coming from, but not the type of message that Will help improve your situation, Im trying to find a way that green names can actually learn and só that experienced players dont have to carry solo
