Archon Intensify Build

Triumbral Build

Madurai Focus School. You only need to have Sling Strength maxed.

How to place motes:

1. Place your nidus specter, put him on “hold position” and wait for him to link with you.
2. Wait until you get an energy orb in order to activate Energy Conversion. You will get it almost instantly from Chroma’s Dispensary ability
3. Go into operator, use your second ability and then dash 2-3 times. You will activate Molt Vigor for a +45% strength, and Sling Strength from the Madurai focus school for another +40% strength
4. Go back to Wisp and place down your health mote. This will activate Archon Intensify, and you will have 10 seconds to place your haste mote before the buff expires (if running Triumbral you’ll have all the time you want, still try to be fast tho ). It will also activate Arcane Bellicose for you and your teammates
5. After getting another energy orb, repeat step 3
6. Place down your haste mote

(Optional) Place down your electric mote. It isn’t needed since Saryn and Mirage should be spawn killing enemies anyways, but it can be a useful form of cc when looting to be even safer

If when using the Archon Intensify build you’re too slow and the strength buff expires before you place your haste mote, you can trigger it again by throwing your On Call Crew inside of the health mote range.

Energy Conversion icon. Make sure to have it when placing your motes.

Afentis Build and Placement:

Primed Firestorm sadly doesn’t affect the buff radius, so just dump as much fire-rate and reload speed as possible (no other stat affects it in any useful way). Amalgam Serration grants a nice sprint speed boost, so it’s nice to have it if possible.

If your team is using towers (so 99% of the time) throw it on the top part of the said tower. This way it will be guaranteed for the dps to be inside of the buff area all of the time. The buff lasts for 40 seconds, however you should throw the Afentis every time it despawns (so every 10 seconds). Also make sure not to hit a teammate or a specter when throwing the Afentis, or it will disappear.

Roar:

Your subsume ability is roar, which is needed to buff the ogris even further. On the Triumbral build it will only last 21 seconds, while on the Archon Intensify one it will last 38 (reason why it’s more comfortable compared to the first).

After casting Roar, you should run away from the camping spot in order to break the link with the Nidus specter. This way, by the time you’ll need to Roar again the 20 seconds cooldown of the link will be up, and the specter will link to you without having you waste any time waiting. For runs below 100 waves it’s not necessary to always have a boosted Roar, but the further you go, the more you’ll need it in order to keep oneshotting.

It’s importante to ALWAYS be casting roar when it expires, and if one of the dps (Saryn and Mirage) are looting and the Roar doesn’t reach them, cast it again once they’re closer (reason why we’re using the augment Piercing Roar, otherwise you would have to wait until the end of the cooldown and it wouldn’t be recastable).

If you fall off the map/get reset in any other way (for example going too close to that one root on Hyf or running too far outside of the map on Paimon) you will have to recast Roar. This wont affect the Nidus link cooldown, which depending on your situation could be either a good thing or a bad thing.

Interception #ShowTheVOD

When playing Interception, people will either 2cap or 3cap. These words indicate how many towers you’ll be capturing, in order to make the rounds last longer and consequently spend less time without enemies not spawning.

When 2capping, at the start of the round two players will be on one tower and two on another, and both groups will capture their assigned spot. After that, the supports (Chroma and Wisp) will go to a third tower, neutralize it and capture it until ~50%. This will allow you to take the lead by a few %, ensuring your win but making the rounds take much longer compared to a 3cap (which is a good thing )

It’s the support’s responsibility to make sure the enemies aren’t winning, so every once in a while make sure that your % is higher than theirs. If that wasnt the case, neutralize a tower again (WITHOUT capturing), and repeat until you’re ahead again.

Companion

With the Sahasa Kubrow’s mod “Dig” you’ll scavenge extra ammo, enery and health orbs. It’s not much so don’t worry about it, but if you’re trying to minmax you should get it as it’s a better alternative compared to the Adarza Kavat when playing Wisp

Power Drain

This mod exists, pretend it doesn’t. The +50% strength is NOT worth the effort, and you’ll do more harm than good by trying to do a finisher on an enemy when they all die the moment they spawn. Unless the dps are very bad, you will be many waves in once you actually manage to activate it, so don’t even bother.

Grimoire

Really not needed but if you want every last bit of strength possible (or you’re missing Archon Shards) it can further boost your haste mote. You only need the strength mod as you wont be attacking. need map knowledge

Praedos Build

This weapon is used for it’s incarnon perks, as it increases parkour velocity, sprint speed and slide with it’s evolutions. Build doesn’t matter, so use any attack speed mod to speed up charged attacks if you accidentally perform any.

Very useful to check the haste buff your mote would give if your build isn’t complete. Do not use the strength value you see in the Arsenal as it is inaccurate, instead calculate it yourself. Here’s an example of the strength calculation on the Triumbral build:

• Base strength = 100%
• Blind rage + 99%
• Augur secrets + 24%
• Energy Conversion + 50%
• Transient Fortitude + 55%
• Umbral Set + 77%
• Power Drift + 15%
• Molt Vigor + 45%
• Arcane Bellicose + 72%
• Sling Strength +40%
• Power Donation from the whole squad + 60% (-30% + 90%)
• Archon Shards +75%
• (Optional) Zenurik Hardened Wellspring + 20%

All multiplied by 1.58% thanks to the Nidus link = 1124.96 strength (1125) will give you 225% haste mote (calculator isn’t 100% accurate but the difference between what it says and what it is in game is minimal so don’t worry if your numbers are 1-2% off)

The tldr is just to reset the 60sec long link so that you can pre-prep the 2nd roar on the last 20sec of it lasting right?

edit: The wiki says parasitic link lasts 60s and some peeps here say it only lasts 20s. I'm confused as hell

the nidus link lasts indefinitely as long as you are close so the specter, once you get out of range it will break and have a 20s cooldown before it can link again. so after you cast roar, it’s a good idea to run away from the camp spot (and consequently the nidus specter) so you can break the link and loot VE if needed, making sure that by the time you will need to recast roar the specter will have linked to you again
