I'm playing on Linux, and in the end after u get 5th grandpa voice message and then return back to chamber with main experiment it looks like there should be some clip or smth like this. Instead i had black screen with cursor for like 2 min (i alt+tab also 4 a bit), and then just titles. Is it normal behaviour? First time i closed the game and got a broken save (i had a quest for inserting quantum drive but all other was at the "i just used lift into Omega" state and i can't progress. After that i loaded backup save)

That's not normal, there should be a full cutscene 🙁

When i launch the game it just black screen loading, than "press any button screen". In the new game all was good, i don't remember smth missing, but just in case i'll check

If the video at the end of the prologue doesn't work, it will be that

You can skip the prologue with the vehicle at the start

and go straight to the video

So, i checked and there's the same thing in the end of the prologue, this time i noticed that "press esc to skip" works

I'll go use "fix the game files" and try again, completely forgot about it

it says all files are fine, nothing to fix

yeah I don't think that will help, I think it's not the files but something in Linux

the video files are .mp4 files, and you can play them from the installation folder btw, just in case you want to watch it outside the game

steamapps/common/AETHUS/StrikeTheEarth/Content/Movies/

intro.mp4 for prologue, outro.mp4 for ending (though there is some ingame stuff that happens after the video that you wont see then)

If you watch the video it will make a lot more sense, but I'm sorry you didn't get to experience the ending properly!

🤔 I read all documents and it all was clear as is, so 4 me it wasn't a big loss. Thank you 4 the game! Will buy support pack as soon as my budget will allow it, don't have a job atm(
