#Arena defense/Siege offence

Hey,

I'm starting to try a bit harder in arena, PVE is done for me. I've generally been following the beginner PvP guide, so I think I'm pretty confident on what to do for my offence teams, but would appreciate some advice on my arena defence. I've been using Feng Yan, Vigor, Triana, Perna. I am getting hit about 160 times a week with a 6-8% success rate, which seems kind of low.

Could I get any suggestions on what to build that might be a bit scarier?

Should I slot in my Chiwu or add a Clara or something? I'm starting to get some decent Nat 5's so thought it might be good to get some of them in there?

For some reason it doesn't seem to be updating, but I also just pulled a Gany that's not showing up.

Also, if you have any advice for monsters that I've pulled that I should incorporate into my siege offence, I'd appreciate it. I also pulled a Cheongpung, but am not really sure where to use him.

I had tried to work through the advice in the beginnerpvp thread but I was having a hard time taking my box and applying it to the advice.

For speed leads, I don't have any 33's, but I do have a Chiwu who also strips. So I was thinking maybe a Chiwu, Perna for the bruiser slot, but I don't think I have any of good nem healer options.

But then I was thinking that maybe Chiwu is a bad stripper for AD comparatively to Clara or Triton. Clara would be a slower speed lead, and my only other good speed lead would be Seara, but I was thinking I'd get Lushened too easy with a Seara Triton.

So, maybe a Seara, Clara, Perna, +1? Maybe a Manon or something instead of a nem healer?

I was also wondering if I should slot in somewhere, I know when I'm doing AO I have a hard time hitting them.

Is a 2x stripper bad? I often get annoyed by triton on AO because of his speed.

2x stripper is good, leo christina is not an uncommon offense and it will generally take the risk against single stripper, but not 2

any spd lead + triton is already going to scare away a lot of offenses

and clara does a TON more than chiwu against teams that are not speed contesting you

Got it, thanks. I'm thinking I'd aim to get Triton on swift and as fast as I can get with decent accuracy, with Clara a bit slower but on despair like you recommended. Does that sound right?

you shouldn't really be focusing that much on AD

for something like clara vigor triana it's ok to give them good runes, because they're great in siege too

but for triton - i doubt you have the swift to actually make him do much, he's just there to scare people from attacking you in the first place

he should just get leftover runes

and you need to put your best runes on AO

Yeah, I get that. I really meant the fastest leftover runes that I have. I have a number of much faster boosters I don't plan on pulling from.

Yup, that makes sense.

Do you have any recommendations for worthwhile nat 5's to devil? I have like 35 devils, but I've been too scared to waste them. All the nat 5s I use seem to do their job without devils, but I mostly have been investing in snipes for siege.

top priority for any investment (best runes, devils) should always go to what you have or planning to have on siege def

Yeah I have some stuff skilled up that seemed like a good investment at the time or had to use for events/something or impulse skilled for lab or something.

I haven't really turned my attention yet to siege defs.

Does the squishy nem will Megan need to be fast to counter Leo Lucifer AD's?

I'm using my Megan in siege offense as part of a double snipe, normally Sonia Claire.

try to use praline instead with claire

I see how the speed buff helps Sonia. How does praline help Claire? Just the crit buff, so I could lower Claire's crit rate investment?

I think I'm going to try to rune a Bolverk Mo Long Aaliyah siege offense. Should it be fast-ish? Or does the speed matter?

239 tick is standard for this, 205 would be ok for beginners
