Hi all, recently I have just recovered from being AFK for quite some time in Arena. Realized that Kinki has been nerfed again for some reason. This AD used to keep me in c2 and c3. Is it still viable these days? Or is there any other team that performs better?

Also, the other image is about my WGB defense teams? Is there any recommendation for which team I should switch out?

I dont have any tools to setup my box right now. This account has been around long enough, so I think it may virtually have most meta pets (just not the LD5s)

idk about the AD video but in the AO video he showed teams so i assume in the AD one there are teams too

Arena Defense
For the vast majority of players asking for AD suggestions, it is a waste of time to invest in building arena defense.
There are a few reasons for this -

Your arena offense is what gets you your rank. You get points by beating other defenses, and the stronger your AO is, the higher success rate you will have and the more defenses you'll be able to beat.
Most of the people asking this question are not pushing for high guardian. If you are not pushing high guardian, your arena defense is not super relevant. It is very possible to get g1 with an exceptionally poor defense.
Your AD will essentially almost never get wins. Players do not hit defenses they think can beat them. Even if your defense does get a win, it ends up being a very small contribution to your final placement in arena. **The main goal of your AD should be to deter people from hitting it, not getting wins. **

With this in mind, the advice for improving in arena is almost always going to be the same - focus on improving your offense, and provide specific examples of things you struggle with if you want assistance in improving. If you'd like AD suggestions, please post in #1047269577614164098 with your box - we'll give you a four monster defense suggestion, but focus on your AO, and do not build monsters/invest non-leftover runes in AD.

Arena Defense

I've also updated my arena def by this point to something slightly better: Garo Clara Vigor Triana. This AD comfortably keeps me in the conq range during the week, and easy C1 finishes. I'll be using this AD to try to get C3-G1 finishes eventually as well.

Here is my Clara: https://imgur.com/a/vY8VaZB/ (runes for other monsters are same as what was just shown in the previous post). Some of you may be surprised that it's not on swift. The reason is pretty simple, Clara doesn't have really have good base spd so 99% of the time anyone who wants to outspeed this def even if I put my fastest swift on her will be able to. I might as well make her stronger against other/bruiser offenses.

And while this is a super f2p AD, the overall template is a solid one to use as you get more premium options: Spd lead, stripper, bruiser, nem healer. Common more premium options:

Speed lead: Vanessa, Psama, Halphas, Moore

Stripper: Triton, Nora, Juno, Praha

Nem healer: Abellio, Molly, Ariel, Praha

Bruiser: Karnal, Sav, Rakan, Nana, Perna,

Honestly for c2 C3 what you have is alright
