Heres my box, dont mind a lot of 6* monsters for nothing, this acc is old i just came back into the game recently. I can do ToaH (Stage 76 currently) and gb12

#

i wanna do some db10/nb10 for rage/violent runes

there is no reason to be farming
db10 outside of the onces for the vio rune set that is given
and no reason to farming nb10 outside of getting the will runes needed to make bj5

#

How do i get rage runes then

#

And vio

toxic karma
#

u dont specifically need either for progression

spring needle
#

So ur saying rage runes are useless?

#

and vio for pvp

toxic karma
#

i dont recall ever saying that, just that giants is the way to farm while one is in progression

#

and yes for all intensive purposes, vio is for pvp

but my question was what team should i go for if i wanna do db10/nb10

WHEN YOU ARE STARTING, IT IS NOT A RUSH TO GET OUT OF GIANTS.
Most players have the ideology that they should go to start other dungeons RIGHT AWAY. This is not a good idea for a few reasons:

  1. No time is wasted farming Giants. It is important to improve the runes on your account that specifically from Giants. End game players continue to farm Giants endlessly.
  2. Throughout PvE, a lot of your bottlenecks will be tied to damage dealer sets. Farming giants is the best way to remedy this.
  3. ?pvesets - Violent/seal/etc runes are all not especially useful in PvE. When runing monsters for PvE, you are looking for stats first and sets second, with very few exceptions. Giants is very simple to get up and running, and you can work towards getting to Giants abyss hard as you improve your runes.

ALL TIME spent in giants is valuable. When you first start doing siege, you will need decent swift runes. These will allow you to run cleaves, securing easy wins and more resources through crystal income. Fatal/blade runes are also very important to cleaving. Rage is NOT significantly better than fatal. The difference is so small you may as well consider them the same set.

Additionally, since reloaded just came out, we do not currently have an optimal progression route developed past this, since everything is still being discovered and developed. If you want to play optimallly, then you are best off farming giants, working towards GBAH and improving your runes. Let the dungeon scientists do the hard work here. Tricaru was not developed over night, and neither will optimal dungeon teams. We will get them sorted as soon as possible.

In summary- go farm giants more. Don't rush. The very first run of giants you do could get you a rune that you use for the rest of your time playing the game. Learn more about what runes are valuable and roll your blues. There are good examples of this in Beginner Playthrough 2022. This will make your progression much smoother.
