Scenarios: clear all of scenario on normal difficulty asap with friend/mentor reps, see ?farmer
Justdoit: Work on getting/leveling/evolving these monsters in ?justdoit while clearing scenario to make your first GB10 team (Giants Keep floor 10)
ToaN100: Clear this with your gb10 team and a few other monsters mentioned in ?toa
2A Team: Get this up and running after ToAN so you can 2nd awaken your Belladeon. ?2ateam
GBAH: After clearing ToA, follow ?justdoit2 for your first GBAH team. You can optimize the team once it is built by improving the stats; see ?gbah
ToaH100: First time you really need to invest into toa, see ?toa

Dont focus on below if it wasnt finished before reloaded update

BJ5: ?bj5 the speed r5 team, Currently need SR10 team to do
?sf10 and can be done to help your bale hit his minimum damage threshold
Lumel b5: this will be one of two d-hole rune farming dungeons that you will farm
the second rune farming dungeon is up to you, see bottom of ?dhole
this also plays a part into which dimensional predator runes you will be picking from

websites are a horrible source of information (hard to keep maintained)

if the unit has pve use, it should be in one of our guides, if its for pvp there are too many factors to do the same for that and is best to ask

No non-fusable nat 5 monsters should be used during your progression through PvE. Building nat 5s will slow down your progress, as they are generally not useful in PvE. They excel more in PvP; stick to the guides for PvE.

To clarify our recommendation of "nat 5's are not useful in PvE" - yes there are some nat 5s that can be used in PvE. But almost always these nat 5s are only good at one specific PvE area. Meanwhile, the farmable monsters we recommend everyone to build for PvE progression are used in multiple places. Following our recommended monsters and teams in ?progression will give you the fastest and most efficient path to completing PvE in this game. There is not a single alternative nat 5 you can summon, including LDs, that will let you progress through the game any faster.

As example, everyone agrees that Rica is good for ToA. We don't disagree with this at all. But we still don't recommend building Rica if you get her, because Sig is a comparable CC mon that can also deal damage, and you can use Sig to complete ToA just as easily. But while Rica is not very useful in other PvE areas, this same Sig can also be used for GB12 and Fire Rift.

Additional commands

First ToaN (normal) team will consists of your GB12 team according to ?justdoit which is Veromos, Fran, Shannon ( ** DO NOT 6 Star ** ), Sigmarus and either Lapis or Loren
ToaH (hard) will be a combination of Fran, Mav (wind penguin), Shannon, +2 of these units below depending on floor
Sig, Vero, Melia, Loren, Verde
[Mav] - Violent-Swift/Any, (SPD-HP)/HP/HP, Def Artifacts (when 6☆), and 180 SPD, 45% Acc
[Mellia] - Despair-Swift/Any, (SPD-HP)/HP/HP, can stay 5☆
[Sigmarus][1] - Swift/Any, SPD/CD/[HP/ATT], moving before Mav, 20-30 acc, 85% CR, HP/ATT artifacts depending on runes and still meeting GB12 requirements
[Veromos, Loren, Fran, Shannon, and Verde] runed as they are for their other content
[1]: Sig is eventually switched from the beginner runes to these requirements to start speeding up ToaH floors and for GBAH team.

Additional Info

If you are not sure of what a monster does, don't be afraid to read the monsters skills or ask for clarification on what they do
Sigmarus, Veromos and Mellia do not need skillups, everyone else should be skilled up.
Support mon ideally have no more than 20% CR for anti-crit stages
45% Accuracy is recommended for every support unit that have debuffs.
Turn order will vary but in a nutshell the slowest mon on the team should be mav (being 180 spd) and everyone else moving before he does. Sig's spd will be slow at first but then later will want to be made faster than mav as well.
