I have been kinda played SW on and off for some time now, not really doing much cause I haven't made a lot of progress and it was a real turn off for me cause the cool part of SW to me was being able to pit your own monsters against other people...but of course that was way way far off into the future. Of course 7-8 years later, ive come back and would like some tips and advice on what i should be doing rn and what monsters would be most affective to do so. I made a Dot team based on what ive seen from other people and its about 90%+ successful Id say, but I haven't really touched Dragons and Necro even though I really would like Rage and Violent Runes. Farthest I got in TOA was Level 70 and after being stuck there I haven't really been working on it.

Ah correction on the GB10 part. I meant GB12 team was a Dot team and it was actually like 70% successful give or take. Sometimes it did 10 runs successfuly and sometimes it did like 2 runs and died.
I’d say especially with the new abyssal dungeons, it’s not worth continuing the Dot team at all, and you should focus on the standard GB10 team instead
?justdoit
Well ive been looking at some resources and videos and talking with some people and they've come to the conclusion that if I'm struggling to do Abyssal rn, its more efficient and rewarding to do the GB10 dungeon
And my current Dot team seems to be close to 100% in completion
Why Water Beast exactly?
The dot teams works but the main issue with it is that no one else on the team is really useful other places so it’s kindof a waste of resources
Ive never fought it so idk what it gives
Water beast because you need to get determination runes for tricaru
Tricaru is the best for breaking out of the early game slog
Sigh...Tricaru is really that important huh
Though i guess ive been stuck Early game for 6+ Years so i guess
PB?
Punishers Crypt
So it’s really nice to not have to sink runes into 5 monsters x 4 dungeons
I wouldn’t start over!
If you have a team that can consistently clear GB10, no reason to start over. Just build this team!
?Rift-water
Wait
?water-rift
I never remember the command lol
cough
fair enough
Ah so this also means i need 3 Water Inugamis and I need to Second awaken them
So i need 2a farming teams for that
Man I wish I had done this when i started.
?rift-water
WATER BEAST
Boss Mechanic: reduces your HP, this effect is undone by boosting ATB/Gaining turns
Frontline/Backline
The damage isn't reduced by the amount of frontliners that you have, so run 2 FL, 4 BL.
Team Suggestion without water twins
Front Line: Fran/Mav
Back Line: Kro(2A) + ling ling + Verd(1) + 1 damage dealer
Team Suggestion with water twins
Front Line: Fran & Mav
Back Line: Sabrina + Talia + Kro(2A) + Hraes/Lingling
Leaderskills
Lushen (Attack%) and Talia (Crit Rate)
Damage Dealers
__Ideal:__Sabrina & Talia, Hraesvelg, Ling ling, Iunu
Usable Elsewhere: Melissa & Sabrina,
Theomars, Lushen, Fuco, Orochi, Susano
Not Ideal: Ardella
Alternatives to Water twins,
Replace with Ling ling, Verde and 1 other Damage dealer above.
-- (1) Verde is only used if one doesnt have hraes or water twins on the team
Melissa can be paired with Sabrina but will do less damage than Sabrina + Talia
Use ?riftstats in #bot-commands, if you want help knowing how to build these units.
Confused by a listed name? use /monster name:Monster to find the normal name.
Team can vary based on your monster box. If you have questions about monsters you could use, share your monster box in #1047269577614164098
Note
All of these listed monsters, have uses in other parts of the game which is why they're being recommended.
Yes. You can farm them from the first scenario
Hmm Well I do have Water twins
I dont have Ling or Hraesvelg though i could get one from the event
What do you suggest? Should I get a Wind Barbarian then?
Of course its gonna take a long time to level him up to 6*
I guess not really since i can farm with Lapis
(Meant to reply to this)
I don't wanna get sidetracked though. If the suggested next step for me is Water Beast, I wanna stick to that
Or i guess the real next step is get Tricaru
by doing Water Beast
The only mons i have 2a are Kro, Raoq, Sath, Tatu, and Spectra
fair point
Yeah just use your kro team
Idk how did you 2a kro?
You had to have a team that could clear what? B3? B4B
Well you can’t bring sig
Or vero
But Loren, fran, both are good
They don't have the best runes though
Do you have verde?
No, water beast hasnt determination runes now
Oh so then how do I get them? Where are they now?
oh Its in Spiritual Realm now i think
You can still them from the spirit realm
No lol
Do you suggest I still farm this Dungeon? Even though its not Water Beast

Because of the new update, it will take us time to see what the optimal progression path looks like. Please bear with us - right now we need time to figure out what optimal advice is for account related progression.
?gb10
Order the GB10 team is upgraded
- Sigmarus Veromos Fran Loren Shannon
- Sigmarus Veromos Fran Loren Kro(2A)
=New players see ?justdoit =
=Returning players See below stats=
Sigmarus - SPD/CD/[HP/ATT], 85% CR, 80k ehp, 140+ spd, [att/hp/def] artifacts depending on needs
Fran - SPD/HP/HP, 130k ehp, 180+ spd, 2 def artifacts
Loren - SPD/HP/HP, 130k ehp, 200+ spd, 2 def artifacts
Shannon - SPD/HP/[HP/DEF], 180+ spd, 60k ehp
Veromos - SPD/HP/HP, 180+ spd, 100k ehp
Kro(2A) - ATT/CD/ATT, 85% CR, 140 spd and moving after Sig, 80K ehp, [att/hp/def] artifacts depending on needs
- Set boss focus:
?bossfocus - Acc makes runs more consistent, aim for 54% on all supports (loren, fran,Veromos ,shannon)
- Turn order loren > Fran/Veromos/shannon > sig > kro(2A)
- Vero and shannon can stay 5★ for now
STEPS TO IMPROVING GB10 (TEAM #2 AND BELOW) - spds are in combat spd
- Must reach near average time of current team before moving to the next one
- Vero can be moved to a bruiser build
- SPD/CD/[HP/ATT], 80k ehp but tankier is safer, 85% CR, 180+ spd, [hp/def/att] artifacts depending on need
- 6★ Vero and devilmon
- Improving Sig to his ?toa build along with reaching the same stats as above
- Getting kro to or close to 169 (with max spd totem, only needs 45 spd from runes to hit 169 combat spd)
So I assume I should replace my Dot team with this?
if you havent fails i think no, teams in command unlikely will be faster
Yea i haven't failed yet. Before when we had GB12 It would fail a few times but GB10 is whole lot easier
Does it still? I thought they now give only gems
Water Beast no longer gives DetRunes and you can’t fuse them with rift mats either. For you to get Det Runes you have to beat the new Spiritual Realm dungeon. Which you need a fire team for cause of the crit mechanic.
You basically want (so far) monsters that do DMG based on Enemy Max HP, Veromos, Akamahmir, Signarus, etc.
Same with new dragon, you can overlap Veromos, people are also using Lyn (light Amazon), I saw someone using Marble (Light Elephant, but for giants you can start with the team above.
There’s an argument to be made about beating one over the other bc of the Boss Max HP thing, for ex, I can’t auto Db10 at all, but I can auto Abyss Dragon easily cause of using units that deal dmg. From max hp. Do whatever works for you, I still use dot team on db10.
at the time being sit tight and farm gb10 and makes sure you clear toan/h till progression gets sorted out for how to progress after that

[Sigmarus][1] - Swift/Any, SPD/CD/[HP/ATT], moving before Mav, 20-30 acc, 85% CR, HP/ATT artifacts depending on runes and still meeting GB12 requirements
[Veromos, Loren, Fran, Shannon, and Verde] runed as they are for their other content -

Additional Info
- If you are not sure of what a monster does, don't be afraid to read the monsters skills or ask for clarification on what they do
- Sigmarus, Veromos and Mellia do not need skillups, everyone else should be skilled up.
- Support mon ideally have no more than 20% CR for anti-crit stages
- 45% Accuracy is recommended for every support unit that have debuffs.
- Turn order will vary but in a nutshell the slowest mon on the team should be mav (being 180 spd) and everyone else moving before he does. Sig's spd will be slow at first but then later will want to be made faster than mav as well.

That was my bad cause the reloaded update
At what point do you guys think I can or should ever consider doing RTA or something of the like
Ik in my current state i shouldn't think about it, but i just wanna know how far RTA is from my current point
seriously: not till after your finished with all pve content (?progression)
for fun: can use the monsters they give you for free and things you have already made for
?progression but not build anything specifically for rta
So essentially RTA is for people who have "beaten the game" so to speak
bad way to put it, more like
people who finished the tutorial
Oh you mean like finishing all of the missions in the progression area
Well in any case I guess i can't really say anything when i haven't made Tricaru yet
u dont make tricaru anymore
And its very annoying cause D hole energy regens slow
huh?
I was told by a couple others above to make Tricaru
well to farm GB10 but also to work on Tricaru
com2us is trying to take tricaru out of the game a bit
the new abyssal waves dont allow tricaru
and theyre significantly better than b10 tbh
at the start of the patch people thought they were about the same
but when the data came ppl changed their minds
by people who dont understand the game
Uh i saw a few videos though explaining before the patch why it wasnt worht though

its reducing the amount of blue runes by about 1/3
so 1/3 of ur old insta-sells are now worth considering
its not
well he has asshole in his name so
wait huh
par for the course
lemme find his name
10% decrease in blue runes is quite a large number, to call it not worth
oh not u, was talking about the "video" he watched
Thats why i asked what changed now
like a 50% raise
oooo
maybe in context it made sense
maybe he said something along the lines of
"its so much slower and costs so much more energy that as an early game player id stay in gb10 for a looooooooong time"
but its still a goal to aspire towards
and definitely will help progression tremendously
like i said 40k/yr to 55k/yr is huge
almost a 50% salary raise
I mean he said atm if you are struggling in abyss floors
just focus on farming GB10 until something changes
#1126866522460139530 read this
if you cant do them, definitely stay in gb10
but you should still do them before pvp
Right. He's not an idiot for saying that
???
yea i think the word idiot just means more to you than it does to him
dont fixate on it
hes just a bully
Is it wise to have bullies educating people then...
he knows a lot!
oh his name was Seiishizo
LOL
i mean you can still know a lot and be awful to talk to
seiishizo is giga end game genius player
yes, like i said, he's an idiot
now can we stay on topic
but there is no question being asked
But i was told by people here and by him that I should wait until the patch to farm abyss
yes, they were ill informed
How so

Oh ok that makes sense
Well damn I already made 1 1/2 2a Icarus
that was a waste of time
more than likely you will still end up using 1 icaru down the line for some content, but spilt milk is spilt milk
Ok so is there any ideas on what i should do about making a Dragon's team?
just sit and farm giants
Cause no one has really informed me of anything besides make TRicaru
ah ok well ok
I still gotta get pieces together for DB floors no?
if u can do gban then do so, if consistent, if not gb10
gban?
abyssal normal
oh
no reason to farm dragons
Ok but what do I do about DB though? I just ignore dragons indefinitely?
how long until i consider farming Dragons?
?stayingiants
WHEN YOU ARE STARTING, IT IS NOT A RUSH TO GET OUT OF GIANTS.
Most players have the ideology that they should go to start other dungeons RIGHT AWAY. This is not a good idea for a few reasons:
- No time is wasted farming Giants. It is important to improve the runes on your account that specifically from Giants. End game players continue to farm Giants endlessly.
- Throughout PvE, a lot of your bottlenecks will be tied to damage dealer sets. Farming giants is the best way to remedy this.
?pvesets- Violent/seal/etc runes are all not especially useful in PvE. When runing monsters for PvE, you are looking for stats first and sets second, with very few exceptions. Giants is very simple to get up and running, and you can work towards getting to Giants abyss hard as you improve your runes.
ALL TIME spent in giants is valuable. When you first start doing siege, you will need decent swift runes. These will allow you to run cleaves, securing easy wins and more resources through crystal income. Fatal/blade runes are also very important to cleaving. Rage is NOT significantly better than fatal. The difference is so small you may as well consider them the same set.
Additionally, since reloaded just came out, we do not currently have an optimal progression route developed past this, since everything is still being discovered and developed. If you want to play optimallly, then you are best off farming giants, working towards GBAH and improving your runes. Let the dungeon scientists do the hard work here. Tricaru was not developed over night, and neither will optimal dungeon teams. We will get them sorted as soon as possible.
In summary- go farm giants more. Don't rush. The very first run of giants you do could get you a rune that you use for the rest of your time playing the game. Learn more about what runes are valuable and roll your blues. There are good examples of this in Beginner Playthrough 2022. This will make your progression much smoother.
And that goes for Necro as Well
above, till progression gets sorted out
Oh thats fair
Aight Giants until death i suppose
I guess getting to farm GBAH consistently is a monumental task by itself
And Ive only ever been using my DOT team for a year or so
I gotta kinda revert back to basics
don't worry about it icarus are useful in siege
Should I 6* Naomi first or Spectra
Planning to make my GB team a bit better
And by that I mean stop using my DOT team and make a real team
spectra
naomi is still not useful
although if you're working on giants you shouldn't be making spectra either
the team probsz recommended earlier has naomi for what its worth
i think shes prob superior to kro but that might not be saying much
if you already have a naomi you can use her. but she is never worth getting if you don't already have her
that has always been the case
makes sense
Ok well the team I have right now to try is Vero, Sig, 2a Kro, Hraesvelg and Bella
I don’t have Bella 2a though and I won’t have it for a good long while
I can clear GBAN fine-ish but Abyss Hard is too rough
Not for the fodder waves. Those aren’t that much of an issue. It’s the boss that’s a problem. Kro dies almost every time and we don’t seem to be doing the damage fast enough
Oh well looks like switching Hraesvelg for Savannah increased my success rate
Final update on my GBAH Team: Went with Vero, Sig, Bella, Savannah, and Spectra and it’s doing pretty well. Will do better when I 6* Spectra and 2a Bella
But yea I can farm it now at least
For a TOAH team should I use Spectra? It isn’t mentioned in the progression guide and I already have it runed for GBAH
And also given I have the units for a Dot team, should I make one for TOAH?
Or at least I have some units that do dots at least

This is #1047269577614164098 : We give advice on efficient progress
So if these are the perfect units for TOAH, how come people make Dot teams and other teams to speed it up
and suggest you give #1090664520449527921 a read
I mean this is a TOA question and you already posted the command. You’re just redirecting me back to it
I was asking for a more detailed explanation
the purpose of this channel is to create efficient teams for all of progression, meaning that they either end up being able to be used in more than one place or another without wasting too many unnecessary resources along the way. this is not limited in just monsters but also in resources like not wasting time on building a homunculus and wasting dhole energy on units that arent used or using suboptimal teams to create dungeon teams
dot team is wasteful not only in its creation but also in its use of runes that could go to more important things, see #1075759157099114536
Oh right right. That change affects all DOT monsters in all areas
Ok that makes sense
I was just confused
you must also keep in mind content that is created by content creator is not the best source of information either, unlike most games. content in this game is rather stale, so creators have to rely on clickbaits and other means to get people to watch their content (ie youtube videos) for things dealing with pve, can see ?youtuber
Yea ok I can see what you mean. It is much more interesting so I would gravitate towards that rather than the tried and true, more lackluster version
Not in terms of efficiency but like
In terms of how interesting and fun it is I guess
Aight well I’ll try not to stray from the path then
