#Accuracy with crit?
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
They are completely unrelated stats
Crit rate increases your chances of landing a critical hit which scales with your crit damage
Accuracy decreases the chance of debuffs you inflict getting resisted
But if I attack with Tesarion and try and get Oblivion on a target with 100% accuracy that's just my best chance to land it? more crit doesnt matter?
Because I was thinking that less crit has an increased chance of landing a "glancing hit" for example and in that way its a less chance for me to land the oblivion no ?
Crit and glancing also have nothing to do with each other (if u glance u cant crit ofc, but more or less crit doesnt change the chances of glancing)
also the accuracy cap is 85%, anything above that is wasted stats
And in this case, tesa s3 isnt applied on hit but after
which means u can land oblivion even on a glancing hit
Appreciate the answers, always nice to learn something new! Thanks guys.
So my best go for example toa would be 85% accuracy and just as fast as possible with violent?

Accuracy and Resistance Explained
============
Accuracy Reduces a monster's Chance to Resist your Effects. It is subtracted from the opposing monster's Resistance and the remainder is their chance to resist your effect.
1. [All monsters have a 15% chance to resist negative Effects, no matter how much Accuracy you have.][1]
2. [When attempting to apply a negative Effect to the enemy, two separate checks made behind the scenes to determine if the effect is applied. Accuracy and Resistance only matter in the second check.][2]
# Does the Effect Activate? The Percent chance for this check is listed in the Skill Description. (Not Affected by Accuracy and Resistance.)
# Does the Enemy Resist the Effect? (Affected by Accuracy and Resistance)
3. [More Accuracy DOES NOT increase your chance of passing the first check.][3]
4. [100% Accuracy DOES NOT guarantee that the Effect will be applied.][4]
5. [Rune Effects such as Despair and Destroy Bypass the Second Check][5]
6. [If your monster's Skill lands as a Glancing hit, then the Effect WILL NOT be applied.][6]
