i'd like to add that a new account and how many crystals you have can be very misleading

#

new players get thrown a ton of crystals at the start and it easily seems like you'd never get through them all

even myself as a hardcore player playing hours a day - when i first started a new account i got up to like 9k crystals at one point

but within the next month or so i used all of it

have to consider how much energy you can get and level monsters to 4* and 5* compared to how much you get for those 300 crystals for those rainbowmon

then u have the returns from farming scenario as well, as you get monsters/mana/crystals/energy back

#2 - do you use rainbowmons to evolve each other (as in, using 3* max rainbowmons to evolve each other)

#3 - do you buy all the 2* monsters from the regular shop? do you buy all the pieces that pop up in the guild shop?

#

if any of these are not true, fix them first

yes the nat 3s that pop up in the guild shop and nat 4s, although the nat 4s are not relevant for this, you should be buying them anyways

no, and if you would prefer to level manually through faimon, you can feel free to do this. it is passive and very simple and gives extra fodder

i don't have the math and i'm not a math-y player, i just know that it is a very simple way to get fodder and i was initially very skeptical myself until i tried it

one of them levels slower than the others, but it's still worth to get all of them

and don't expect it to immediately pay off with the buildings. it's like the crystal titan. you don't get the full value instantly. but you will always, always be 6*ing new monsters. no matter what phase in the game you are in. i want to stress how important it is that you want to fill it with all rainbowmon/4 star fodder at the same time. because it is a pain in the ass otherwise. if you do it this way it is very convenient

You can use faimon to supplement them. The exp buildings end up generating a lot of food

i am doing it on my beginner account. it's worthwhile.

it's fine if you don't instantly tap them. at higher levels it takes longer and you'll be wasting less exp. nobody is expecting you to sit in front of your phone and stare at their exp to perfectly optimize it.

if you prefer to farm faimon more and don't want to use the exp buildings with the booster, it's OK, you don't have to. it is 100% worthwhile. i personally find that it takes less time out of my life when all i have to do is take 3* max level rainbowmon out of storage, use fodder i've summoned to 4* them and have rainbowmons ready to 6* a monster.

it doesn't replace faimon and if you aren't following it the exact way I said to where you are filling it with 4* rainbowmon, i would not recommend it.

They pay for themselves after 24 hours of actively running

Anything after that point is a bonus

Unless they have changed xp from scenarios in the past 2 years

If you have SSS rifts it is very quick. But I can't answer how long because I don't know how often you play or how long your runs take. You will get it. Everything in this game takes time :)

@solemn oak for science purposes i just wanted to report that my rainbowmons are level 22 after the full week

i wasn't as on-top-of-it as i could have been so my guess is they could probably hit 24 during that week. a little unfortunate because it's efficient but it takes a lot longer than i thought it would for somebody who's trying to accumulate 6 stars

also went into rift and got the crystal dragon and final XP building since i could score high enough in rift to have a chance at the 10 crystals i needed

ive got 29 4* rainbowmons and 1 5* rainbowmon sitting in storage ready to go, but maybe it would be more prudent to level 4* fodder monsters to this point while i wait for all that to happen
