#How much useful runes should i have after having a full inventory?

I farmed 900 runes now in GB12. I instantly sold all ones that have fail stats on 2/4/6 ofc.

How much "good runes" should i have after that? Since i have like 50 Monsters not runed and i feel like this will take forever to even rune 5. Maybe im too picky. Just for orientation.

I would think maybe 5 will be decent. But maybe im doing something wrong.

Would you keep average rolls on runes if you have not enough monsters runed? I just keep looking for near/perfect rolls.

so you start running mon for teams, if your not done with pve ?progression then you do those and dont worry about pvp

grand mortar
#

bruh i have finished pve

tulip lotus
#

if you are done with progression, then u start by figuring out what teams you can make

grand mortar
#

my problem is runes
i can rune 1 monster in like 2 weeks if i farm hard
maybe im just 2 picky idk

tulip lotus
#

and then read through that section in # beginner pvp in #1048681073502068917

#

if you are only getting a few runes a week, then you are indeed being too picky about yr runes

#

especially if your asking the question above

grand mortar
#

is there a really good rune guide on what to keep and what to look for etc?

most i have found are way too complex or not specific enough

something like "if it has a potential of 18 spd with two rolls and it has 16, its still fine" would help, such rules

tulip lotus

the problem is

#

there are no catch alls for runes

What runes to keep or sell continued, with examples of bad advice

Here's a specific example rune I'll show and talk about a little: I farmed this fatal rune and put in on my Sig, since I stole his free quest rune to rune up Verde.

"blue runes are instasell" - Nope, blue runes are great. I'm going to be using this rune for a very long time, even into end game siege PvP. At that point it's still usable for a fat nuker like Kahli or Covenant.

"runes with no spd sub or spd innate are unusable" - Most monsters in the game don't need to be super fast. Some tanks and nukers don't need any. There's also Leo. Spd can be gemmed in. Or just consider that every monster can have 6 runes, so not every rune needs to have all the stats the monster needs.

"multiple flat stats on a rune makes it worthless"- Sometimes just having 1 strong substat on a rune (in this case, CD on a slot 6 fatal atk) is enough to make it usable and it doesn't matter how bad the rest of the rune is.

"low rolls are bad"- I hate this negative outlook people have where people seem to consider anything that's not a max roll to be a "low roll" and "useless". It's still stats and it still helps.

So if everything is usable, how do I not end up with the problem of keeping everything? The solution and only guideline to follow is this: aim to improve your runes based on what you currently have, rather than using someone else's arbitrary standard. If you start collecting a lot of similar runes in your inventory, that's when you know you need to up your standards for those kinds of runes and start selling off the worst ones.

As long as a rune has potential to be better than what you currently have, you roll it until it loses that potential. If your fastest slot 1 swift in your inventory is 15 speed, you need to be rolling every blue slot 1 swift rune with a spd sub that you see.

this is talking mostly about pve, but still applies to pvp as well

#

and if you read nothing else, make sure to atleast read,

#

this really helped i think

especially the "look what you keep based on what improves you currently" part

#

i go through that 900 runes in a few minutes and see what i can do, will look into each rune and see if its an upgrade to what i currently have

#

then the answer is yes

#

in a lot cases i guess

#

on the other hand

#

it is very hard to remember what rune is an improvement for you if you have a lot monsters runed later, no?

tulip lotus
#

its what u dont have on monsters

#

meaning runes from your inventory

#

you should be improving what is there or matching that quality

#

this i think it what most fail to realize

#

so if you have 4 slot 4 vio hp% runes, and you have none left unequipped

#

and then use all 4 on monsters, that now means literally any slot 4 hp% is/can be yr best unused rune

grand mortar
#

yea especially slot 2 4 and 6 is hard to get

#

good ones

#

or even matching stat

  • like 170 cd?
#

i feel with like 50 spd or something they will never move and just die

It depends a lot on the content youre using them in

or guild/siege stuff

Early game Damage Dealer (Lushen, Kro, Lapis, etc.)
ATK/SPD CD ATK (Slot 2 SPD if not enough SPD from substats)
~85+ CR
Preferred 140+ speed
Rest in ATK/CD (balance: Bonus ATK = Total CD)
Set doesn't matter, whatever combination gives best stats.

# spare pagoda ?dd

140 total speed? thats insane low
i think im not early anymore, i can clear everything pve, but i want to build up more monsters to speed up times or do stuff in different ways, for tartaros or just random guild stuff

to just have more options

is there a command for midgame dds?

spare pagoda
#

Again, it depends on where youre using them

#

Theres no general build for all of pve

#

You need to be more specific
